According to an embodiment, there is provided that processing circuitry configured to determine a first radiation timing at which a subject is irradiated with an X-ray, based on information on motion of an object in X-ray image data, the information on motion being calculated by the X-ray image data, the X-ray image data being associated with an electrocardiographic waveform of the subject, and repeatedly irradiate the subject with an X-ray at the first radiation timing per cycle of the electrocardiographic waveform of the subject.

A medical image processing apparatus of an embodiment includes processing circuitry acquiring an X-ray image about a subject, acquiring an ultrasonic image data about the subject, extracting an object contained in the X-ray image, and performing processing based on the position of the extracted object on the ultrasonic image data in accordance with the relative positional relation between a coordinate system in the X-ray image and a coordinate system in the ultrasonic image data to generate a composite image as a combination of a processed ultrasonic image data after being subjected to the processing and the X-ray image.

According to one embodiment, a medical image processing apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry specifies, before position alignment between a first X-ray image and a second X-ray image which is acquired with a device inserted, a device area candidate in the second X-ray image as a candidate of an area where the device appears. The processing circuitry performs the position alignment using first processing of removing the specified device area candidate or second processing of reducing a contribution of the specified device area candidate.
