A frame for a vehicle to accommodate a large-sized accessory, such as a fuel tank, to be mounted downwardly of a rear pipe without having to lower a rear sub-pipe. A large-sized accessory, such as a fuel tank, can be inserted into a space under a rear pipe by removing a second rear sub-pipe from a main frame and the rear pipe. The second rear sub-pipe can be fixed to the main frame and the rear pipe by simply tightening bolts. Similarly, by simply loosening the bolts the second rear sub-pipe can be removed from the main frame and the rear pipe and the large-sized accessory can be removed onto an outside in a vehicle width direction. This facilitates mounting and helps reduce the number of man-hours involved in mounting the accessory.

A clamper includes a living hinge, a first end portion, and a second end portion. The first end portion includes a first buckle portion. The second end portion includes a second buckle portion. A vehicle intake duct surrounds a high-flow intake passage, which ensures flow capacity and does not spatially restrict other components. The vehicle includes an engine attached to a vehicle body frame, with the intake duct interconnecting an air cleaner and a throttle body, a transmission for sending engine output to wheels, and a seat mounted on an upper longitudinal frame section of the vehicle body frame. The air cleaner is also provided on the upper longitudinal frame section forward of the seat. The intake duct includes a first extending portion descending rearwardly and downwardly from an outlet of the air cleaner and passing laterally of the throttle body, a curved portion extending rearwardly from the first extending portion and toward a center of the vehicle body frame, and a second extending portion wound around toward a rear portion of the throttle body and connected thereto.

A steering unit includes a housing, a steering shaft, a bearing, a steering arm, and a stop portion. The housing includes upper and lower portions that cooperate to define an interior. The steering shaft includes an upper and lower end. The bearing is supported by the lower portion of the housing and is disposed at least partially within the interior. The steering shaft is journaled with respect to the lower portion of the housing by the bearing. The steering arm is coupled with the lower end of the steering shaft and is configured for coupling to steerable wheels. The stop portion projects from the lower portion of the housing and into a travel path of the steering arm such that the steering arm selectively contacts the stop portion to prevent over-rotation of the steering shaft. A vehicular frame assembly for supporting the steering unit is also provided.

A vehicle includes a vehicle body frame, an engine attached to the vehicle body frame, and a power transmission unit for transmitting output from the engine to a wheel of the vehicle. The vehicle body frame includes a plate-shaped suspension-supporting bracket which is integrally connected to front end portions of main frame sections extending in a forward/rearward direction of a vehicle at a lower portion of the vehicle body frame, and also is integrally connected to lower end sides of front frame sections vertically extending at a front portion of the vehicle body frame. The plate-shaped suspension-supporting bracket includes suspension arm-supporting portions formed integrally therewith. The lightweight vehicle body frame reduces total weight of the vehicle and, at the same time, enhances assembling accuracy thereof.

The vehicle body frame is configured in a manner that an upper tension pipe is removed from a first cross portion and a second cross portion. When mounting the engine in the vehicle body frame, the vehicle mounted component that is relatively heavy can be lowered into the vehicle body frame from above by removing the upper tension pipe. The vehicle body frame simplifies the removal and installation of the vehicle-mounted components.

An air cleaner apparatus includes a lid that covers an opening formed in an air cleaner box is provided with an intake port communicating with the opening. In addition, a regulator is attached to an upper wall portion of the air cleaner box, the intake port is extended to the upper wall portion of the air cleaner box so as to cover the regulator, and the regulator is placed facing inside an intake passage connecting between the intake port and the opening. The air cleaner apparatus so configured provides a sufficient cooling effect, and is excellent in ease of maintenance.

A grab rail and a muffler support structure has a reduced number of components and a simplified structure. Therefore, the cost is reduced. A grab rail is attached to the rear portion of seat rails supporting a seat. The grab rail is provided with left mount holes and right mount holes serving as a mount portion used to attach the grab rail to the seat rails. A muffler support for supporting the muffler of an exhaust system is also provided. The grab rail also serves as the muffler support.
