A sample transfer device is provided which can insert to a charged particle beam apparatus a sample to be observed and analyzed under irradiation of a charged particle beam while suppressing to a minimum the time to expose the sample to the atmospheric environment. The sample transfer device for transferring the sample to be observed and analyzed by irradiating the charged particle beam comprises an expansible hollow member capable of accommodating a sample holder mounting the sample, a fixing member for fixing the sample holder within the expansible hollow member, and a sealing member communicating with the interior of the expansible hollow member to open/close an opening through which the sample holder passes.

Sample transfer device and sample transferring method

In an NMR apparatus provided with a split type magnet, in order to position a probe at a high precision in a narrow homogeneous magnetic field space, a positioning of a center of a probe coil is first located to a proper position by inserting an NMR probe from a horizontal bore. At this position, a sample tube is inserted from a vertical bore, and an NMR signal is measured from the probe coil. An NMR signal measuring apparatus amplifies the NMR signal from the probe coil, and executes an A/D conversion so as to determine an NMR spectrum signal, and an NMR signal analyzing apparatus compares the NMR spectrum signal. A probe is set at a position where a sharpness of the spectrum is largest, that is, a magnetic field homogeneity coefficient is high, by repeating the operations mentioned above.

NMR system and probe positioning method

The invention provides a low temperature probe having a high sensitivity by reducing a heat intrusion into a receive coil. A heat making an intrusion into a coil is suppressed by inserting a heat radiation shield in which a temperature is controlled at about 100 K to a portion between an outer container of a probe and a coil portion. A heat radiation shield bore sleeve is provided in a heat radiation bore, is connected to the heat radiation shield, and is cooled by a second heat exchanger. Further, the coil portion is cooled by a first heat exchanger. In preparation for a contraction at a time of being cooled, the outer container, the heat radiation shield and the coil portion are connected by using a fixing portion, and a heat relieving mechanism or a contraction relieving mechanism is provided in a root side (an opposite side to the fixing portion) of the heat radiation shield and the coil portion. The fixing portion is formed in a shape and made of a material having a small heat intrusion amount and having a small heat contraction.

Low temperature probe for NMR and NMR device

A nuclear magnetic resonance measuring apparatus includes an NMR probe head equipped with an NMR receiver coil and an irradiation coil, a preamplifier, for amplifying the NMR signal received by the NMR receiver coil, a coil cooling heat exchanger, for exchanging heat between the NMR receiver coil/irradiation coil and coolant, a preamplifier heat exchanger for exchanging heat between the preamplifier and the coolant, and a cooling device capable of cooling and compressing the coolant. Further, a first transfer tube is provided for transferring the coolant from the cooling device to the probe head, a second transfer tube for transferring the coolant from the probe head to the cooling device, a third transfer tube for transferring the coolant from the cooling device to the probe head, and a fourth transfer tube for transferring the coolant from the probe head to the cooling device.

Nuclear magnetic resonance measuring apparatus

A double-tubular third transfer tube is provided in the transfer tube storage conduit, and a first transfer tube, second transfer tube and fourth transfer tube are installed in its interior. Further, pressure control valves are arranged in the portion of normal temperature, thereby reducing the amount of heat intrusion and the coolant temperature. This arrangement cryogenically cools down the irradiation coil and reception coil, without damaging the compressor, and ensures a low-temperature probe to be manufactured.

An XY-axes table having a base, a plurality of linear guiding apparatuses, a stage, an X-axis drive linear motor and a Y-axis drive linear motor. The linear motor include an armature and a movable element relatively movable with respect to the armature. The linear motor further includes first magnetic pole teeth rows which are magnetically connected to a first magnetic pole of the armature and are arranged so as to be separated into a first stage and a second stage in a substantially vertical direction to a moving direction of the movable element. Second magnetic pole teeth rows which are magnetically connected to a second magnetic pole of the movable element are arranged so as to be separated into a first stage and a second stage in a substantially vertical direction to the moving direction of the movable element.

XYZ-axes table

A linear motor and a method of producing the linear motor are provided to reduce a leak magnetic flux flowing between an armature and a moving element to reduce a one-direction magnetic attraction force generated between the armature and the moving element. The linear motor includes the armature having a core formed of a magnetic body and a winding wound around the core, and the moving element supported so as for the moving element to move relatively to the armature via a gap, magnetic pole teeth disposed above and below the moving element, disposed at predetermined pitches along a moving direction of the moving element and disposed opposite to each other via the moving element, and a winding for exciting the magnetic pole teeth such that adjacent and opposite magnetic pole teeth have different magnetic poles, and the moving element is reciprocated relatively to the armature by exciting the winding according to a predetermined control circuit.

Linear motor and method of producing the same

A XYZ-axes table including a base, a plurality of linear guiding apparatuses, a stage, an X-axis drive linear motor, a Y-axis drive linear motor, and a Z-axis drive linear motor. The linear motor is constituted by an armature and a movable element being capable of relatively moving with respect to the armature. The linear motor further has magnetic poles and magnetic pole teeth arranged in a predetermined manner.
