A cylinder end plate of a rotary compressor has a discharge port communicating with a discharge-side space, and the discharge port is formed such that as viewed in the axial direction of a drive shaft, part of an opening of the discharge port overlaps with the inside of a cylinder chamber, and the opening end face of the discharge port is inclined radially outward of the cylinder end plate.

Rotary compressor and refrigeration device

A rotary compressor includes a cylindrical casing, an electric motor, and a compression mechanism. The cylindrical casing has first and second end plates ends in an axial direction. The electric motor is a variable-speed electric motor. The electric motor is disposed in the casing in which a first space is sandwiched between the electric motor and the first end plate. The compression mechanism is disposed in the casing in which a second space is sandwiched between the compression mechanism and the electric motor. The compression mechanism is coupled with the electric motor. The rotational compressor satisfies 0.8≤(A+B)*D/(Vcc*Nmax)≤1.0. An axial length of the first space is A, an axial length of the second space is B, an inner diameter of the casing is D, a suction volume per rotation of the compression mechanism is Vcc, and a maximum rotational speed of the compression mechanism is Nmax.

A screw compressor includes a screw rotor, a gate rotor, and a speed adjuster. The screw rotor has an outer peripheral surface with a plurality of screw grooves. The screw rotor is configured to be rotated. The gate rotor has a plurality of teeth. A ratio T/S of a number T of the teeth to a total number S of the screw grooves is greater than or equal to 2.5. The gate rotor meshes with the screw rotor. The speed adjuster is configured to adjust a rotational speed of the screw rotor. Rotation of the screw rotor at an angle greater than 180° allows the screw compressor to perform a stroke from start of compression to completion of discharge.

Screw compressor

A screw compressor includes a screw rotor having a plurality of screw grooves, a plurality of gate rotors each including gates that mesh with the screw rotor, and a casing. The screw rotor is rotatably inserted in the casing. The casing has a cylindrical wall through which the gates pass. The screw compressor has a plurality of compression chambers inside the cylindrical wall. The plurality of compression chambers are defined by the screw rotor and the gates. The compression chambers include a first compression chamber and a second compression chamber. A fluid introduced into the casing at a suction pressure is compressed to an intermediate pressure higher than the suction pressure in the first compression chamber. The fluid at the intermediate pressure is compressed to a discharge pressure higher than the intermediate pressure in the second compression chamber.

Screw compressor, and refrigeration device

A screw compressor includes screw and gate rotors, a cylindrical wall, and a slide valve including a valve body and a guide portion. The valve body extends in an axial direction of the cylindrical wall and has a crescent shape in a cross section in a perpendicular direction to the axial direction. A radius of curvature of an inner arc shaped curved surface of the crescent shape is substantially equal to a radius of curvature of an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical wall. A radius of curvature of an outer arc shaped curved surface of the crescent shape is smaller than the radius of curvature of the inner arc shaped curved surface, and a central angle of the outer arc shaped curved surface is 180&#xb0; or less. The guide portion allows movement of the valve body in the axial direction and restricts movement in the perpendicular direction.

A screw compressor includes a casing having an outer peripheral wall, and a compression mechanism. The compression mechanism includes a screw rotor with helical grooves, a gate rotor with a plurality of gates meshing with the helical grooves, and a cylinder housing the screw rotor. The compression mechanism is disposed inward of the outer peripheral wall. The outer peripheral wall has a discharge passage through which a fluid compressed in the compression mechanism flows. The discharge passage includes an inner peripheral passage formed along an outer peripheral surface of the cylinder, and an outer peripheral passage formed along the inner peripheral passage and the outer peripheral wall. The inner and outer peripheral passages are formed so that the fluid compressed in the compression mechanism sequentially flows through the inner and outer peripheral passages.

A screw compressor includes a casing, a screw rotor, a discharge passage, and at least one muffler space. The casing includes a cylindrically-shaped cylinder, a main body surrounding a vicinity of the cylinder, and a high-pressure fluid passage provided between the main body and the cylinder. The screw rotor includes a plurality of helical grooves. The screw rotor is inserted into the cylinder to define fluid chambers. A fluid is sucked into the fluid chambers to compress the fluid. The discharge passage is disposed in the casing. The discharge passage guides the fluid that has been discharged from the fluid chambers to the high-pressure fluid passage. The at least one muffler space is disposed in the casing. The at least one muffler space communicates with the discharge passage so as to reduce a pressure fluctuation of the fluid flowing from the discharge passage to the high-pressure fluid passage.

A single-screw compressor includes a screw rotor with helical grooves, a gate rotor assembly including first and second gate rotors, and a casing housing the screw rotor and the gate rotor assembly. A rotor support member is attached to the first and second gate rotor rotors, and is rotatably supported by the casing. Each of the helical grooves of the screw rotor has a front sidewall surface and a rear sidewall surface. Each of the gates of the first gate rotor slides only on the front sidewall surface of the helical groove in which the gate has entered. Each of the gates of the second gate rotor slides only on the rear sidewall surface of the helical groove in which the gate has entered. The first and second gate rotors of the gate rotor assembly are coaxially arranged and relatively displaceable in a circumferential direction.

Single-screw compressor

A screw compressor includes a casing, a screw rotor, a low-pressure-side bearing, and a low-pressure-side bearing holder holding the low-pressure-side bearing. The screw rotor is housed in the casing to form a compression mechanism to compress a refrigerant. The low-pressure-side bearing is arranged in a low-pressure-side region inside the casing and rotatably supports a drive shaft of the screw rotor. The casing has a suction port with an opening facing the low-pressure-side bearing holder as viewed along an axial direction. A filter member is attached to the suction port to filter out contaminants contained in the refrigerant being sucked into the casing. The filter member has a cylindrical shape with a bottom. A peripheral portion of the filter member adjacent to an opening of the filter member is fixed to the suction port. The bottom of the filter member is fixed to the low-pressure-side bearing holder.

A screw compressor includes a casing having low and high pressure spaces, a screw rotor inserted in a cylinder part of the casing, and a slide valve disclosed in the cylinder part. The screw rotor has a plurality of helical grooves forming a compression chamber. The slide valve is moveable along an axis of the screw rotor and faces an outer periphery of the screw rotor to form a discharge port to communicating the compression chamber with the high pressure space. Fluid in the low pressure space is sucked into the compression chamber, compressed, and then discharged to the high-pressure space when the screw rotor rotates. The slide valve includes a sealing projection located on a back surface of the slide valve opposite to the screw rotor, and separating the low and high pressure spaces from each other when the sealing projection is in slidable contact with the casing.

A screw compressor includes a screw rotor, a casing and an economizer circuit. The screw rotor has a plurality of helical grooves forming a compression chamber. The casing has a cylinder portion with the screw rotor inserted in the cylinder portion. The economizer circuit ejects configured to eject intermediate pressure refrigerant into a compression chamber in the course of compression. The economizer circuit includes a branch passage configured to branch the intermediate pressure refrigerant from a portion of a refrigerant circuit, a resonance space connected to a downstream side of the branch passage to retain the intermediate pressure refrigerant, and a resonance passage having an end communicating with an interior of the compression chamber and an other end communicating with an interior of the resonance space. The refrigerant circuit circulates refrigerant and performs a refrigeration cycle.

A single-screw compressor includes a screw rotor, a cylinder wall in which the screw rotor is rotatably accommodated, a driving mechanism which variably drives the screw rotor according to a load, and a slide valve which is provided in a slide groove formed in the cylinder wall. The slide valve faces an outer circumferential surface of the screw rotor to be movable in an axial direction, and to adjust a discharge start position by being moved in the axial direction according to the operating capacity. A discharge side end surface of the slide valve extends in a direction corresponding to a screw land of the screw rotor to which the discharge side end surface faces when the slide valve is moved to a position corresponding to a part load operation state.

Single screw compressor

A screw compressor includes a casing and a compression mechanism accommodated in the casing. The compression mechanism has a screw rotor, a gate rotor and a communication mechanism. The gate rotor has a flat plate shape. A rotational axis of gate rotor is orthogonal to a rotational axis of the screw rotor. The communication mechanism is arranged to communicate a high pressure space and a low pressure space in the casing.

A screw compressor includes a screw rotor, a gate rotor, a drive mechanism to rotate the screw rotor, a cylinder, a discharge port and an adjustment mechanism. The screw rotor has an outer periphery with a helical groove engaged with radially arranged gates of the gate rotor. First and second axial ends of the screw rotor form suction and discharge sides, respectively. The cylinder accommodates the screw rotor to define a compression chamber in the helical groove. Fluid in the compression chamber flows through the discharge port toward the discharge side of the screw rotor. The adjustment mechanism is configured to adjust a compression ratio of the compression chamber within a predetermined range. The adjustment mechanism adjusts the compression ratio to a minimum compression ratio immediately before or when operation of the adjustment mechanism is stopped.

A single-screw compressor includes a screw rotor including a spiral groove, a casing, and a gate rotor. The gate rotor includes a plurality of radial gates configured to mesh with the spiral groove. A clearance between one of the gates disposed in the spiral groove and a wall surface of a discharge side portion of the spiral groove is larger than a clearance between the gate disposed in the spiral groove and a wall surface of a suction side portion of the spiral groove. The wall surface of the discharge side portion of the spiral groove is a portion extending from a predetermined position of the spiral groove at a certain point in a compression phase to the terminal end of the spiral groove. The wall surface of the suction side portion of the spiral groove being a portion other than the discharge side portion.
