A reception sectionreceives a classification of a shape of a target object for a case in which a robot is to perform an action along the target object. An instruction sectioninstructs a user with a number of training points identified for each classification of the shape as training points for training positions of a specific location of the robot to perform the action. An acquisition sectionacquires positional information of the specific location of the robot as trained by manipulation by the user according to the instruction. Teaching including adjustment of an inclination of a suction tool with respect to an object is performed in teaching of a suction position of the suction tool. A sticker affixing system includes an articulated robot, a controller, a suction tool attached to a distal end of the articulated robot, a force sensor, and a storage. The controller causes the articulated robot to execute an operation of bringing the suction tool close to a sticker on a release paper in a teaching mode, an operation of adjusting a suction position of the suction tool and an inclination in a traveling direction (roll axis X) of the suction tool in peeling off the sticker based on a signal from the force sensor, and an operation of storing the teaching data including information about the adjusted suction position and the inclination of the suction tool in the storage.

Generation of a wrinkle is prevented when a sticker is affixed to an object. A sticker affixing system includes an articulated robot, a controller configured to control the articulated robot, a suction tool attached to a distal end of the articulated robot, and a force sensor configured to detect force applied to the suction tool. The controller causes the articulated robot to execute: an operation of moving the suction tool holding a sticker along a surface of an object to which the sticker is affixed; and an operation of adjusting an inclination of the suction tool with respect to a traveling direction (roll axis) of the suction tool and the traveling direction of the suction tool based on a signal from the force sensor.

Thus, a technology can be provided which assists the user to easily compare the designed network configuration and the actual machine's network configuration.

The design assistance system has a storage section that stores slave information data in which unique information of the slave device is described; an acquisition section that acquires information of a port of the slave device from the slave information data; and a generation section that generates a port component serving as a GUI component representing the port of the slave device based on the information of the port, generate a device component serving as a GUI component representing the slave device based on the slave information data, and generate a design assisting GUI containing a topology display screen that displays the topology of the network system which includes the device component and port component.

Assistance system

Provided is a design assistance system that enables even a user having no expert knowledge to easily design a network system taking into consideration the types of port connection interfaces. The design assistance system has a storage section for storing slave information data in which unique information of the slave device is described; an acquisition section for acquiring information of a connection interface of a port of the slave device from the slave information data; and a generation section for generating a device component serving as a GUI component representing the slave device based on the slave information data, generates a line component serving as a GUI component representing connection of the ports of the slave devices in different aspects in accordance with different types of the connection interface, and generates a design assisting GUI having a topology display screen configured to display the topology of the network system.
