A photosensor array device comprises a line sensor including a plurality of sets of sensors juxtaposed on a transparent glass substrate. Each set comprises an amorphous silicon photodiode, a crosstalk preventing element in the form of a diode or a transistor and a matrix wiring connected to the element. A selector is provided for driving the crosstalk preventing elements of the line sensor. The photodiode and the crosstalk preventing element are formed integrally.

In a photosensor apparatus of the type including one dimensional photosensor array in which a plurality of photosensors mounted on a transparent substrate at a predetermined spacing are respectively connected in series with blocking diodes which select outputs of the photosensors. Each one of the photosensors comprises a plurality of laminated amorphous silicon diodes comprising p-i-n junction layers. Each blocking diode comprises at least one amorphous silicon diode having a p-i-n junction layer, and each photosensor generates an electromotive force larger than a forward voltage drop across each blocking diode.

A photo-sensor array apparatus comprises an elongated photo-semiconductor substrate, a plurality of elongated upper electrodes arranged on the upper surface of the substrate in the direction of elongation which is identical with the longitudinal direction of the substrate, and a plurality of groups of transparent lower electrodes arranged on the lower surface of the substrate. The respective groups of lower electrodes are associated with the respective upper electrodes so as to be driven in a matrix fashion. Opposing ends of adjacent elongated upper electrodes are spaced a predetermined distance in the transverse direction of the substrate.

Photo-sensor array apparatus for matrix operation

A multilayer wiring structure comprising a plurality of groups of patterns each having a multiplicity of wirings formed on the opposite sides of an intervening insulation film. The intervening insulation film is formed with a void exposed to both an upper pattern of a multiplicity of wirings and a lower pattern of a multiplicity of wirings, the upper and lower patterns being formed on and beneath the intervening insulation film and arranged to form a matrix. The void extends longitudinally across one of the patterns, and the upper and lower patterns are connected together through the void at crossing points of the matrix.

A photosensor array device is adapted to detect an image of a pattern described on a sending original. The device comprises an optical base having its bottom surface close to the original, a photoelectric conversion element formed above the upper surface of the base plate, a plurality of conductor electrodes each connected at one end thereof to the photoelectric conversion element, and a drive circuit element connected to the other end of each of the conductor electrodes. Disposed on the upper surface of the base is a plate member of an area greater than the area of the upper surface of the base on which the photoelectric conversion element, conductor electrodes and driving circuit element are formed.

In an electron gun of a cathode ray tube of the type comprising a cathode electrode for emitting an electron beam, a first grid electrode for focusing the electron beam and a second grid electrode for accelerating the electron beam, the cathode surface which emits the electron beam is a concaved surface which creates different electron beam focusing effects in two orthogonal directions and the first grid electrode comprises a flat plate having an elongated iris opening with its major axis coincided with the direction of the cathode surface in which the focusing effect is strong and the minor axis coincided with the direction of the cathode surface in which the focusing effect is weak.

A color picture tube is disclosed which comprises an electron gun for emitting an electron beam and a shadow mask including a plurality of slots and a plurality of bridges each interposed between adjacent slots along the longitudinal axis thereof. When X and Y axes are assumed passing through the central point of the surface of the shadow mask in the direction of horizontal deflection of the electron beam and passing through the same central point in the direction perpendicular to the X axis, respectively, the angle that each bridge forms with the X axis as viewed from the electron gun is determined in relation to the incident angle of the electron beam impinging upon the bridge, in accordance with the distance of the bridge from the X and Y axes.
