A wireless connector includes: a first unit attached detachably from the outside of a first object; and a second unit attached detachably from the outside of a second object. The first unit includes a first housing to which a first transmission/reception part and a first connector part are secured, the first connector part being attached to the first object and transmitting a to-be-transmitted target between the first connector part and the first object. The second unit includes a second housing to which a second transmission/reception part and a second connector part are secured, the second connector part being attached to the second object and transmitting a to-be-transmitted target between the second connector part and the second object. The first transmission/reception part and the second transmission/reception part are arranged so as to be separated from each other and opposed to each other to wirelessly transmit the to-be-transmitted target.

Robot device and wireless connector

A wireless connector is composed of a pair of units. Each unit includes an annular transmission/reception unit which is provided with a coil used to wirelessly transmit electric power, and formed of a plurality of coil parts, and a main connector portion which is detachably attached to an object from the outside of the object to transmit the electric power to the object. Each unit is assembled such that each unit can be divided into a plurality of non-annular pieces so that the coil can be formed by coupling the plurality of coil parts via a plurality of connectors for coil. When one of the transmission/reception units is attached to the object, the one of the transmission/reception units is arranged so as to oppose the other one of the transmission/reception units in a non-contact manner such that electric power can be wirelessly transmitted therebetween.

Wireless connector attaching and detaching method, robot device, wireless connector, and wireless connector unit

A wireless connector for wirelessly transmitting a to-be-transmitted target that is electric power and/or information, has a first unit and a second unit removably attached from the outside of a first object and a second object, respectively. The first unit includes a first transmission/reception part for wirelessly transmitting the to-be-transmitted target; and a first housing to which a first connector part for transmitting the to-be-transmitted target to/from the first object by being attached to the first object is fixed. The second unit includes a second transmission/reception part for wirelessly transmitting the to-be-transmitted target to/from the first transmission/reception part; and a second housing to which a second connector part for transmitting the to-be-transmitted target to/from the second object by being attached to the second object is fixed. The first and the second transmission/reception parts are spaced apart from and faced to each other so as to wirelessly transmit the to-be-transmitted target.

Wireless connector attachment/detachment method, robot device, and wireless connector

A solid electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element, an anode terminal and a cathode terminal. The capacitor element includes an anode body, a dielectric layer, a solid electrolytic layer, a conductive layer and an anode lead wire. The anode lead wire is partially embedded in the anode body and extends in a horizontal direction from the anode body. The anode lead wire has a thicker portion and a thinner portion. The thinner portion is positioned closer to the anode body than the thicker portion is in the horizontal direction. The anode terminal at least has a first end, a second end and an overlapping portion. The anode terminal is connected to the anode lead wire under a state where the first end of the anode terminal is positioned on the thinner portion while the overlapping portion of the anode terminal overlaps with the thicker portion.

Solid electrolytic capacitor and method of manufacturing the same

An optical semiconductor element is held in a junction-up state at an approach start position that is isolated from a mount face of a planar lightwave circuit, and the top-face height of the optical semiconductor element and the surface height of the planar lightwave circuit are aligned by bringing the optical semiconductor element closer towards the mount face. Further, the height of the active layer of the optical semiconductor element is aligned with the height of a waveguide of the planar lightwave circuit by bringing the optical semiconductor element towards the mount face for an amount of a difference between a reference value of a distance on design from the surface of the planar lightwave circuit to the center of the waveguide and a reference value of a distance on design from the top face of the optical semiconductor element to the center of the active layer.

Laser module manufacturing method and laser module

In an optical module, a waveguide unit has a wavelength filter having a ring resonator structure. A semiconductor laser is connected to the input terminal of an input waveguide. A semiconductor Mach-Zehnder modulator is connected to the output terminal of an output waveguide. A first photodiode is connected to the output terminal of a branch waveguide. A second photodiode is connected to the through port of the input waveguide. A temperature adjustment unit adjusts the temperature of the waveguide unit. A laser output controller is connected to the first photodiode and the semiconductor laser to control an output from the semiconductor laser based on an output signal from the first photodiode. A temperature adjustment controller is connected to the second photodiode and the temperature adjustment unit to control the temperature adjustment operation of the temperature adjustment unit based on an output signal from the second photodiode.

Optical module

A driver's seat and an engine are disposed side-by-side to maximize the advantages of a mid-engine vehicle layout. A driver's seat is offset leftwards with respect to a center line of a vehicle body in a one-seater vehicle, and a power unit integrally provided with the engine and transmission is disposed on the right of the center line of the vehicle body. When viewed from the side of the vehicle, the seat and the power unit overlap each other. Thus, the inertial moment about a yaw axis of the vehicle is minimized to enhance the turning performance and moreover, the distribution of load to front wheels Wf and rear wheels Wr is made uniform to enhance the performance of the vehicle when in motion.

Mid-engine vehicle with engine and driver's seat located laterally on

A rear wheel suspension system, comprising a pair of hub carriers each for rotatably supporting a wheel, a plurality of lateral links for coupling the hub carriers to a vehicle body, and a pair of shock absorbers each consisting of a spring and a linear hydraulic damper for controlling impacts which are applied to one of the wheels. The shock absorbers are arranged laterally of the vehicle body, and are each coupled between the vehicle body and one of the hub carriers by way of a bell crank mechanism which may have a progressive property. The ends of the shock absorbers on the side of the vehicle body which oppose each other may be pivotally coupled to each other by way of a coupling structure which relatively elastically attaches the opposing ends to the vehicle body but relatively rigidly supports mutually abutting axial forces from the shock absorbers. This suspension system may be attached to the vehicle body by way of a subframe, which is in turn elastically attached to the vehicle body and provided with an open channel member for accommodating the shock absorbers therein to protect them from objects thrown from the road surface.

Independent rear wheel suspension system

A propeller shaft in a motor vehicle includes a plurality of shaft members and a plurality of joints operatively coupled between the shaft members, between the engine of the motor vehicle and one of the shaft members, and between a differential coupled to drive wheels and one of the shaft members. At least one of the joints comprises a slidable tripod joint. The tripod joint gives the propeller shaft a desired torque transmission capability and axial sliding displacements, and enables the propeller shaft to have a practically sufficient service life for high-speed rotation.
