A connector lock structure includes a lock arm that extends along a fitting direction and is formed on a side wall of a connector housing, and maintains a fitted state by being elastically engaged with a counterpart connector housing; a pair of flexible and deformable plate-shaped support walls that protrude rearward of the side wall to sandwich a rear portion of the lock arm therebetween; a coupling portion that couples each of the plate-shaped support walls to the rear portion of the lock arm in a width direction of the connector housing; and an upward protruding portion that protrudes upward than the coupling portion and is formed on each of the plate-shaped support walls.

Connector lock structure

A connector lock structure includes: a lock arm extending from a front end to a rear end in a fitting direction and formed on a side wall of a connector housing; a pair of plate-shaped support walls provided at a rear portion of the side wall to protrude from the side wall and sandwiching a rear portion of the lock arm therebetween; a connecting portion that connects upper ends of the pair of plate-shaped support walls in a width direction to cross over the rear portion of the lock arm; and a lock operation space having a cut formed at a rear end of the connecting portion. A rear end of one of the pair of plate-shaped support walls is located closer to the front end of the lock arm than the rear end of the lock arm in the fitting direction.

A lever-type connector includes a connector body including side walls and a boss portion and a lever including a pair of arm portions, each of the pair of arm portions being provided with a boss fitting hole into which the boss portion of the connector body is to be inserted, the lever being to be rotatably attached to the connector body. The connector body and the lever includes a first and second alignment marks, the first alignment mark and the second alignment mark being visually recognizable while the lever is being attached to the connector body. The lever is, by aligning the second alignment mark with the first alignment mark, to be rotatably attached to the connector body with a position of the boss portion and a position of the fitting hole being aligned with each other, allowing the boss portion to be inserted into the boss fitting hole.

Lever-type connector

A connector includes a housing and a lock arm that extends from the housing and is engageable with a counterpart connector. The lock arm includes a first arm a has a shape of a cantilever beam and has a locking hole for being engaged with the counterpart connector at a free end side of the first arm, and a second arm that extends from an end portion on the free end side of the first arm and is capable of releasing the engagement by bending the first arm around a fixing end of the first arm. The locking hole has a hole of which the size in a width direction orthogonal to an extending direction of the first arm becomes larger as a measurement position of the size of the hole gets closer to the free end from the fixing end.

Connector with a lock arm

A connector includes a lever drawing and fitting a first housing and a second housing by moving from a temporary lock position to a final lock position. The lever includes a lever-side lock portion elastically deformable in a first direction away from a surface of the first housing, and including a reinforcing rib that enhances rigidity against a deformation of the lever-side lock protrusion. The first housing includes a housing-side lock portion which locks the lever-side lock portion when the lever is in the temporary lock position, which inhibits movement of the lever to the final lock position during locking, and which permits the lever to move to the final lock position when the locking is released. The second housing includes a lock releasing portion which pushes the lever-side lock portion in the first direction so as to release the locking.

Connector

A connector includes a lever attachable to a first housing to draw and fit the first housing and a second housing by rotating around a rotating axis from a temporary lock position to a final lock position. The lever includes: a positioning portion including a pair of wall surfaces which extend toward the first housing and which are spaced at a predetermined distance from each other in a first direction parallel to the rotating axis; and a lever side lock portion. The first housing includes: a reception portion which receives the positioning portion so as to hold the pair of wall surfaces in the first direction; and a housing-side lock portion to which the lever-side lock portion is locked in a state in which the positioning portion has been received in the reception portion and when the lever is in the final lock position.

A lock structure of a connector includes a flexible lock arm, a lock engaging part and a releasing lever part. The flexible lock arm fixed to the second connector housing at a base end portion thereof is extended in a fitting direction of the connector. The lock engaging part provided at a distal end portion of the flexible lock arm is configured to be locked with a locking part provided in the first connector housing. The releasing lever part connected to the lock engaging part is extended along the flexible lock arm, and is configured to be rotated together with the lock engaging part around a pivot which is movable while releasing the lock. A thickness of the flexible rock arm is gradually decreased from the base end portion to the lock engaging part.

Lock structure of connector

In a connector of the invention, a female housingwhich is adapted to accommodate a female connector terminal includes a female terminal locking lance () which prevents the dislocation of a female connector terminal accommodated in a female terminal accommodation hole (), a tab insertion opening () through which a tab is inserted into a terminal fitting portion of the female connector terminal held in the female terminal accommodation hole (), and a tapered guide surface () which is formed on an opening edge of the tab insertion opening (), and further, the female terminal locking lance () is formed so as to deviate in a widthwise direction of the female connector terminal with respect to a center axis (C) of the female terminal accommodation hole ().

Connector with locking lance

The present invention prevents two connector housings of a connector from being in a half-fitted condition by increasing restoring force which separates the two housing. A connector includes: a first connector housing including a lock projection; a second connector housing to be fitted to the first connector housing and integrally including a lock arm which is elastically deformed by the lock projection and is engaged with the lock projection; a lock ensuring member including a body which is attached to the second connector housing and movable between an allowing position and a preventing position, and an interference arm which is integrally provided on the body and includes a pressing projection. The pressing projection presses the lock arm while the lock projection deforms the lock arm at the allowing position, and the interference arm abuts the lock arm so as to prohibit the lock arm from deforming in the preventing position.

A flexible lock arm has a first arm which extends from a stay portion to an inflection point of the first arm on a front side of a terminal along a length direction indicated by arrow Yand a second arm which extends from the inflection point of the first arm to a rear end viewed from a stay portion. A first retaining projection is provided on the second arm.

Connector having a female connector housing and a housing cover

A connector housing includes a housing main body and a tubular shroud. Terminal receiving chambers are mounted on the housing main body. A male connector housing is inserted into the shroud. The male connector housing receives male terminals to be fitted to female terminals received in the terminal receiving chambers. A notched groove is formed on the shroud in a length direction of the female terminals. A half-fit detecting member receives a female connector housing and includes a pair of correcting ribs. A pair of abutting walls facing each other is mounted on both sides of the notched groove. The pair of correcting ribs abuts on the pair of abutting walls to prevent a width of the notched groove to be reduced.

The present invention is to provide a connector which is not subjected to an excess force when a locking securing unit is operated to remove engagement. The connector includes a male housing, a locking arm for engaging with a locking projection of a mating connector, a locking securing unit, and deformation switching portions. The locking securing unit is movably disposed between a regulation position to regulate a resilient deformation of the locking arm and an allowance position to allow the resilient deformation thereof. The deformation switching portions have a first interfering portion disposed on the locking arm and a second interfering portion disposed on the locking securing unit. When the locking securing unit is in the allowance position, the first and second interfering portions interfere each other and the locking arm resiliently deforms to remove engagement with the locking projection. When the locking securing unit is in the regulation position, the first and second interfering portions separate each other.
