A rolling bearing apparatus with sensor includes a sensor unit retaining a plurality of types of sensors for detecting the status of a rolling bearing, in a single holder. The plurality of types of sensors are at least two types of sensors of a rotation speed sensor, a temperature sensor, and an acceleration sensor.

Sensor and rolling bearing apparatus with sensor

The rolling bearing with a built-in motor includes a bearing part including an inner ring, an outer ring and a plurality of rolling elements, and a motor part including a stator and a rotor for driving and rotating the inner and outer rings of the bearing part with respect to each other. In the rolling bearing, the bearing part includes a first bearing ring having a cylindrical-shaped inner fixing portion formed in one end face of the inner ring so as to be coaxial therewith, and a second bearing ring having a cylindrical-shaped outer fixing portion formed in one end face of the outer ring so as to be coaxial therewith. When viewed in the radial direction of the rolling bearing, the stator and rotor are interposed between the inner fixing portion of the first bearing ring and the outer fixing portion of the second bearing ring.

A rolling bearing with sensor includes an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of rolling elements disposed between the inner and outer rings, and a sensor having a detecting part detecting a state of the rolling bearing and a circuit part connected to the detecting part. In an excimer laser apparatus comprising a laser chamber filled with a laser gas, a discharge excitation portion provided in the laser chamber , a rotary shaft to which a gas circulating fan for circulating the laser gas is fixed, a shield partition wall for forming a sealed space to enclose the rotary shaft , a magnetic bearing of a control type including a rotor portion provided on the rotary shaft side and a stator portion provided outside the shield partition wall and serving to pivotally support the rotary shaft in non-contact, a driving motor provided outside the laser chamber , magnetic coupling portions and for transmitting driving force of the driving motor to the rotary shaft through the shield partition wall in non-contact, and rotary shaft sensors and for detecting a position of the rotor portion with respect to the stator portion . The shield partition wall of the magnetic coupling portions and is formed of ceramic and the shield partition wall of the magnetic bearing is formed of metal.

Excimer laser apparatus

A magnetic bearing system includes a rotor shaft,, stationary electromagnetic pole, a radial displacement sensor,for detecting the position of the rotor shaft,with respect to the electromagnetic polarity, and a control circuit,which supplies a control current in accordance with an output from the radial displacement sensor,. A permanent magnet,is disposed in the magnetic bearing so as to constitute a portion of a magnetic member,which forms a magnetic circuit between the rotor shaft,and the electromagnetic pole. The position where a balance exists between an attraction force developed in the permanent magnet,and static force, which acts on the rotor shaft,when no load is imposed on the rotor shaft,, is set as a target position for the rotor shaft

Magnetic bearing system

There is disclosed a magnetic bearing which is an improvement over conventional radial magnetic bearings, and has a very small bearing loss. At least three U-shaped laminates 10 of electromagnetic steel sheets are circumferentially arranged around a rotation shaft 1, and are fixedly mounted on a housing 100. Exciting coils 31 and 32 are wound on each electromagnetic steel sheet laminate 10, and permanent magnets 20 and 21 are provided in the laminate 10. Rotor cores 2, each comprising a laminate of I-shaped electromagnetic steel sheets stacked together in the circumferential direction, are mounted on the rotation shaft 1 in such a manner that each rotor core 2 is opposed to magnetic pole surfaces of the electromagnetic steel sheet laminates 10. In accordance with a signal from position sensors 5 which detect the radial position of the rotation shaft 1, control current is caused to flow through the exciting coils 31 and 32 to thereby control the position of the rotation shaft 1. Thus, merely by causing the control current to flow through the exciting coils 31 and 32 when this is required, the control of the rotation shaft 1 can be achieved, and with this method, the energy consumption can be much reduced.

Magnetic bearing

A superconducting bearing unit compring a permanent magnet mounted to a rotating shaft and a superconducting body mounted on the inner periphery of a housing surrounding the shaft, the superconducting member being adapted to be cooled with the rotating shaft moved upwards until it attains a superconducting condition, so that the rotating shaft is supported in use in a balanced condition between the weight of the rotating shaft, etc. and a pinning force caused by the permanent magnet and the superconducting member.

Superconducting bearing unit and operating method thereof

A bearing unit comprising a rotating body, a rotating shaft and a bearing, wherein there is provided a construction with a plurality of electromagnetic poles is arranged, together with a plurality of sensors for detecting the run-out of the rotating shaft, and also comprises a control circuit for controlling the intensity of a magnetic force according to a detection output of these sensors, thereby controlling the bearing unit so that vibration and run-out of the rotating body due to inbalance thereof are effectively suppressed while making the unit to revolve around the principle axis of shape.

Magnetically controlled bearing unit

A pair of relief portions have been provided in a metal foil bearing so as to prevent the metal foil from contacting with the surface of the rotary shaft of the bearing during its high speed rotation. A relief portion is provided either at (1) both the axial ends of the metal foil, (2) on the outer surface of the rotary shaft at the position corresponding to the axial end of the metal foil, or (3) on the outer surface of the rotary shaft at a position further in than the portion corresponding to the axial end of the metal foil and axially extending therefrom up to the axial end of the rotary shaft.

In a dentist's handpiece, a porous, static pressure air bearing device includes a rotatable shaft for mounting thereon a cutting tool, a bearing case, an air bearing portion provided in the bearing case for supporting the rotatable shaft, and a turbine blade formed integrally with the shaft or mounted on the shaft.
