There is provided a method that can realize the treatment of an amine compound, a deterioration product thereof and the like in a simple and a low-cost manner. The method includes treating a carbon dioxide absorbing agent, comprising a step in which at least one carbon dioxide absorbing agent represented by OH&#x2014;R&#x2014;NR&#x2014;R&#x2014;OH or H&#x2014;NR&#x2014;R&#x2014;NR&#x2014;H into contact with a compound containing two or more isocyanate groups in its molecule to produce a solid containing a urethane bond or a urea bond. In the above formula, R, R, R, R, R, and Reach independently represent CHONwherein v, w, x, and y are 0&#x2264;v&#x2264;10, 0&#x2264;w&#x2264;22, 0&#x2264;x&#x2264;3, and 0&#x2264;y&#x2264;3, respectively.

Method for treatment of carbon dioxide absorbing agent

The objects of embodiments in the present disclosure are to provide a method capable of recovering two or more amine compounds at the same time from a gas or solution, and also to provide a method capable of analyzing the recovered amines. The amine-recovering method comprises the steps (A) and (B). In the step (A), the gas or solution is brought into contact with a solid adsorbent so that the adsorbent may retain the amines. In the step (B), the amines retained by the adsorbent in the step (A) are eluted out by use of a basic compound-containing organic solvent. The ratio of the mass concentration of carbon monoxide to the sum of the mass concentrations of difluorophosphoric acid and monofluorophosphoric acid is in the range of 0.1 to 5%.
