Herein disclosed is a monitor, including: a measurement section that acquires measured values of a plurality of parameters showing a health state of a living body; a classification setting section that classifies a relationship among the measured values of the plurality of parameters into a plurality of types of detection states; a status setting section that respectively assigns any of a plurality of types of alarm statuses to the plurality of types of detection states; a state specifying section that specifies one of the plurality of types of detection states on the basis of the measured values acquired by the measurement section; and an annunciation section that outputs an alarm corresponding to the alarm status assigned to the specified detection state.

A physiological parameter measuring apparatus is configured to perform a screening for a likelihood of the critical congenital heart disease, based on the oxygen saturations at two locations on a body of a patient and the difference between the oxygen saturations, and to display the likelihood as a result of the screening. The physiological parameter measuring apparatus manages, with respect to each patient, a scheduled time for starting the screening, the result of the screening, and information relating to the patient. The physiological parameter measuring apparatus can display a first screen containing information relating to the scheduled time, a second screen for receiving the instruction to perform the screening, and a third screen containing the result of the screening. An optical sensor includes: a light emitter; a light receiver; a rod-shaped grasping member in which one of the light emitter and the light receiver is disposed, and which is to be grasped by a hand of a subject; and a clamping member which is adapted to clamp a part of the hand of the subject with the grasping member, another one of the light emitter and the light receiver being disposed in the clamping member.

A biological information monitor includes: a first measuring unit which measures a pulse wave propagation time of a patient; a second measuring unit which measures a blood pressure of the patient; a calculating unit which calculates an estimated blood pressure value of the patient based on the pulse wave propagation time of the patient; a setting unit which sets a threshold; and a determining unit which compares the estimated blood pressure value with the threshold. The second measuring unit is activated to measure the blood pressure of the patient at least one of at time intervals and at a time when an operator operates the second measuring unit, and the second measuring unit is activated to measure the blood pressure of the patient by the determining unit based on the comparison result.

Biological information monitor

An information processing apparatus and program having a reading unit configured to read a plurality of alarm information about alarms generated based on abnormalities of biological information of a patient or abnormalities of a medical apparatus, and a control unit configured to associate same alarm contents that are included in the different alarm information in terms of the alarm contents that indicate contents of abnormalities causing the generation of the alarms is provided.
