A log management apparatus includes a memory configured to store log information and identification information in association with each other, and a processor configured to store, in association with first identification information in the memory, first log information output, before a semaphore returns to an initial value but after the semaphore decreases from the initial value, from a program employing the semaphore, associate the first identification information with information relative to deletion of the log information when the semaphore has returned to the initial value, and perform deletion of the first log information among the log information stored in the memory in accordance with the first identification information associated with the information.

Log management apparatus and log management method

An information processing apparatus takes each currently executing job as a candidate job, and when determining that a migration of a candidate job to a migration destination node selected from free nodes, which are not executing any jobs, is expected to expand a continued range of free nodes, specifies the migration as a possible migration. Then, on the basis of the amounts of communication needed to perform individual migrations based on a plurality of possible migrations and the numbers of nodes used for executing candidate jobs to be migrated in the individual possible migrations, the information processing apparatus determines a possible migration to be performed.

Information processing apparatus and job management method

A system includes a plurality of information processing devices and a management device configured to manage execution of jobs performed by the plurality of information processing devices. The management device detects any one of the plurality of information processing devices which is executing a first job, at a predetermined time, and determines whether a second information processing device different from the first information processing device is able to be allocated to a second job which is scheduled to use the first information processing device being used by the first job after the predetermined time, among the plurality of information processing devices. The management device modifies an execution schedule of the jobs such that the second job is executed using the second information processing device when it is determined that the second information processing device is able to be allocated to the second job.
