A composition in which a preparation of the composition itself has an excellent disintegratability in the right place and excellent active ingredient releasability within the digestive tract, the active ingredient and the preparation itself have long-term stability, excellent ease of operation such as manufacturability and filling into containers, an amount sufficient for achieving physiological effects can be easily taken and swallowed, and can be absorbed rapidly from the digestive tract, thus the physiological effect can be expected. The composition is an easy-release jelly composition containing an emulsified polyvalent unsaturated fatty acid or derivative thereof in an amount exceedingly 10 mass % and further containing an emulsifying agent and a gallant. The easy-release jelly composition includes an emulsified polyunsaturated fatty acid or derivative thereof in an amount greater than 10 wt %, an emulsifying agent, and a gelling agent.

Jelly composition

It is intended to provide a composition having at least one effect among the following effects; a plurality of medicinal ingredients can be taken as one preparation and the convenience for patients is excellent; the drug compliance is excellent; the amount of jelly composition to be taken at a time is small; the release of an active ingredient in the digestive tract is excellent; the absorption of an active ingredient to the body is excellent; the storage stability of an active ingredient is excellent; the dispersibility of an active ingredient in the composition is excellent; the storage stability of the composition is excellent; the syneresis of the composition is less, it has an appropriate jelly strength to a degree that does not disintegrate during carrying and before taking and easily disintegrates after taking; the handleability during preparation of the composition is excellent; the portability of the composition is excellent; the feeling of taking the composition is excellent; it has an effect on reducing side effects; and the like. The jelly composition contains a polyvalent unsaturated fatty acid, a second medicinal ingredient, an emulsifying agent and a gelling agent.

A system whereby a substance which is orally taken and to be delivered into the lower digestive tract is selectively delivered into the lower digestive tract. More particularly, a system which makes it possible to surely and quickly deliver the aimed substance to the lower digestive tract without being affected by pH change in the digestive tract due to change in bacterial flora. Compositions disintegrating in the lower digestive tract characterized by containing a compound &#x3c;A&#x3e;, which has a molecular weight of 1000 or less and has a disulfide bond, and a polymer &#x3c;B&#x3e;, which has a molecular weight exceeding 1000 and is digested by enteric bacteria and/or undergoes softening, swelling or dissolution due to a decrease in pH; molded products with the use of these compositions; and preparations with the use of these molded products.
