A housing includes a housing main body and a lid body. The housing main body has a housing outer circumferential wall and a housing inner circumferential wall. The lid body has a top board, a lid body outer circumferential wall, a lid body inner circumferential wall, and ribs. An accommodation space includes a plurality of compartments that are positioned closer to the housing inner circumferential wall. The compartments include a first compartment that is positioned on a downstream side of a sealing rib in a water flow direction, and that is provided with electronic components that are able to accept electric power, and a second compartment that is positioned on an upstream side of the sealing rib, and that is not provided with the electronic components that are able to accept electric power.

ECU evaluates high-rate degradation of a lithium-ion battery, using a score and an in-plane score. The score is an index for evaluating unevenness in salt concentration of an electrode body in a lamination direction of the electrode body. The in-plane score is an index for evaluating unevenness in salt concentration of the electrode body in an in-plane direction of the electrode body. For each computing cycle, ECU calculates a current score, and calculates a current in-plane score based on an SOC (State Of Charge) of the lithium-ion battery. When the absolute value of an in-plane integrated score is beyond a reference value, ECU evaluates the high-rate degradation based on the current score, the current in-plane score, and a degradation score which is obtained by integrating previous scores beyond a deadband. When the absolute value is below the reference value, ECU evaluates the high-rate degradation, based on the degradation score.

Battery system and method for evaluating lithium-ion battery degradation

An electricity storage device includes an electricity storage module and a cooling device disposed adjacent to the electricity storage module. The cooling device includes a first cooling layer that is adjacent to the electricity storage module and a second cooling layer that is located on the opposite side of the first cooling layer from the electricity storage module. In the first cooling layer, a plurality of first cooling channels that is disposed at intervals in an array direction and first walls that are located between the first cooling channels are formed. In the second cooling layer, a plurality of second cooling channels that is disposed at intervals in the array direction and second walls that are located between the second cooling channels are formed. At least some of the first walls are disposed so as to be offset from the second walls.

A heat management device may include: a heat circuit comprising a heat exchanger passage, a radiator passage communicating with the heat exchanger passage, and a battery passage communicating with the heat exchanger passage by bypassing the radiator passage; a heat exchanger cooling heat medium by heat exchange; a radiator exchanging heat between outside air and the heat medium in the radiator passage; a control valve changing a channel of the heat medium in the heat circuit; a pump pumping out the heat medium in the heat circuit from the heat exchanger passage to the battery passage and from the heat exchanger passage to the radiator passage; and a controller. The controller may execute: a heating operation for heating the heat medium in the battery passage by a battery; and a circulation operation for cooling the heat medium in the radiator passage by the radiator.

A heat management device may include: a first heat circuit in which first heat medium circulates; a second heat circuit in which second heat medium circulates; a first radiator disposed in the first heat circuit; a second radiator disposed in the second heat circuit; and vehicle equipment exchanging heat with the first heat medium. The first and the second radiator may be disposed such that the first heat medium and the second heat medium are able to exchange heat with each other, the first heat medium may be heated by heat exchange between the first and the second heat medium in a case where a temperature of the second heat medium flowing into the second radiator is higher than a temperature of the first heat medium flowing into the first radiator, and the first heat medium heats the vehicle equipment by exchanging heat with the vehicle equipment.

Flat surfaces out of two flat surfaces of each of flat electrical connection bodies of a relay bus bar and a bus bar of an electronic component are mating surfaces brought into contact with each other by a fixing structure. At least one of the flat electrical connection bodies of the relay bus bar and the bus bar applies a reaction force accompanying the elastic deformation to the other flat electrical connection body, to which the one flat electrical connection body is to be connected, in a state in which the flat electrical connection body of the bus bar at an accommodation completion position in a housing has not been connected to the relay bus bar. The housing includes a receiving portion receiving a force applied to the flat electrical connection body of the bus bar from the flat electrical connection body of the relay bus bar.

A housing is provided with an electrical wire drawing path projecting toward outside and causing a plurality of at least one of an electrical wire bundle and the electrical wire to be drawn from inside to outside. A shallow bottom part can be located above the deep bottom part below the electric wire bundle holder, with the shallow bottom part being formed to include an inclined surface inclined downward toward the deep bottom part, and a state where the bonder cap is inserted into the electric wire bundle holder is maintained on the inclined surface of the shallow bottom part on the lower cover.

An electric connection box includes: an insulating casing; at least one internal electric part that is accommodated inside the casing and is electrically connected to a plurality of internal electric wires drawn from the inside to the outside of the casing; and a terminal block that is provided with at least one external electric part electrically connected to at least one external electric wire and is assembled into the casing outside the casing. The casing includes an accommodation member that accommodates the internal electric part, and a removable member that is attached to and detached from the accommodation member. The terminal block includes a holding member that holds the external electric part. The holding member is formed as one part integrated with the removable member.

In the event of an abnormality occurring in a temperature sensor that is used to detect the temperature of a battery, an electrically driven vehicle sets a drivable time by using a reference temperature of the battery and gives permission for emergency drive until a driving time of the electrically driven vehicle reaches the drivable time. When the reference temperature is used for the first time since the occurrence of the abnormality in the temperature sensor, a temperature detected before the occurrence of the abnormality in the temperature sensor is used as the reference temperature. When the reference temperature is used for the second or subsequent time since the occurrence of the abnormality in the temperature sensor, a temperature obtained by applying a resistance value based on an inter-terminal voltage of the battery and an electric current flowing in the battery, to a correlation between battery resistance and battery temperature is used as the reference temperature.

Electrically driven vehicle

Provided is an electric motor vehicle including a secondary battery, an electric motor, and a control device that controls an input to and an output from the secondary battery. Using an SOC of the secondary battery, the control device calculates a first OCV that is an OCV based on an assumption of absence of a change in voltage due to polarization. Using a voltage and a current of the secondary battery, the control device calculates a second OCV that is an OCV including a change in voltage due to polarization. When a voltage difference between the first OCV and the second OCV resulting from discharging of the secondary battery is large, the control device augments a limit value of electricity input into the secondary battery to be higher than a limit value when the voltage difference is small.
