A fitting body is tubular, whose first and second axial end portions include a connector for a tube and an annular groove, respectively. A sleeve has first and second axial end portions including an annular protrusion and a connector for another tube, respectively. A nut is engaged with an external thread of the fitting body or the sleeve. Engagement of the external thread with the nut causes press-fit of the annular protrusion into the annular groove to form a seal region. Under a condition that a depth of the annular groove is three or more times as large as a thickness of a radially inward or outward wall of the annular groove, an axial distance from the seal region to a bottom of the annular groove exceeds ten times an increment width of the annular groove caused by the press-fit of the annular protrusion into the annular groove.

Tube fitting

Provided is an electronic device including a metal plate that is exposed on at least one of a plurality of side surfaces of the electronic device so as to absorb heat from a heat generating component that generates heat inside the electronic device and guide the heat to an outside of the electronic device. Provided is a spiral wound gasket that makes it less likely that gaps that are in communication with each other in a spiral shape will remain between layers of a filler member exposed at a gasket face in a state before the gasket is clamped and that is capable of exhibiting sufficient sealability for flanges provided at pipe joints. The present invention provides a spiral wound gasket in which a laminate of a hoop member made of metal and a filler member is wound around an opening and integrated, and which has gasket faces at respective end portions, wherein, at each of the gasket faces, an end portion of the filler member protrudes past an end portion of the hoop member, and the gasket faces have a surface roughness Rof 30 &#x3bc;m to 200 &#x3bc;m.

The gasket has a sectional shape in which the composite body that is in a bent state overlaps in a radial direction. Gland packing and packing set

A gasket having a concentrically waved metal sheet, i.e., a core member, which has a PTFE sheet or an inorganic sheet of sealing-property layered and bonded on each of its opposite surfaces. The gasket makes it possible to ensure a stable sealing-property for a long period of time with a low to a high fastening-load applied. The metal sheet has valley portions, which were conventionally vacant gaps, and are filled with powdered sealing member to be embedded from the beginning. Therefore, the PTFE sheet or the inorganic sheet at the valley portions of the metal sheet that conventionally could not be compressed with a low fastening-load applied is compressed and even with the low fastening-load applied can secure a fastening surface-pressure over the entire surface. Further, since it is possible to suppress the deformation of the sheet in quantity, which was conventionally large, the PTFE sheet or the inorganic sheet each of low-fluidity are arranged so as not to be broken with a high fastening-load applied and the thinner PTFE sheet or the thinner inorganic sheet can be used.

A gasket having a concentrically waved metal sheet, i.e., a core member, which has a sheet of sealing-property layered and bonded on each of its opposite surfaces. The gasket has an enhanced adaptability of the sheet material and enables the thinner sheet to be used and at the same time makes it possible to ensure a stable sealing-property for a long period of time with a low to a high fastening-load applied. The metal sheet has valley portions, which were conventionally vacant gaps, and are filled with powdered sealing member to be embedded from the beginning. Therefore, the sheet at the valley portions of the metal sheet that conventionally could not be compressed with a low fastening-load applied can be compressed and even with the low fastening-load applied can secure a fastening surface-pressure over the entire surface. Further, since it is possible to suppress the deformation of the sheet in quantity, which was conventionally large, a sheet made of not only the high-fluidity material but also the low-fluidity material can be used as well as the thinner sheet.

A yarn which is configured by using expanded graphite and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTEE) is provided while improving the yarn so that the expanded graphite functioning as a core member is not exposed and it can be simply produced. The yarn is formed by: forming a base member configured by enveloping an expanded graphite sheet member with a PTEE film, in a state where the PTEE film and the expanded graphite sheet member are aligned with each other in longitudinal direction; and twisting the base member. The base member has an approximately circular sectional shape, and is configured by enveloping the expanded graphite sheet member having a rounded sectional shape with the PTEE film which is rounded in a pipe-like shape.
