A display device () includes a light-emitting device (), a reflective liquid crystal element (), and an optical member (). The light-emitting device () includes a plurality of light-emitting units () and a light-transmitting unit () located between the light-emitting units () adjacent to each other. The light-emitting device () is located between the reflective liquid crystal element () and the optical member (). The plurality of light-emitting units () emit light toward the reflective liquid crystal element (). The light emitted from the plurality of light-emitting units () is reflected by the reflective liquid crystal element (), transmitted through the light-emitting unit () of the light-emitting device (), and formed into an image by the optical member ().

Display device

A plurality of light-emitting units () are provided on a first surface () of a substrate () and are separated from each other. Each light-emitting unit () includes a light-transmitting first electrode (), an organic layer (), and a light-reflective second electrode (). The organic layer () is located between the first electrode () and the second electrode (). A light-transmitting region is located between the light-emitting units () and transmits light in the thickness direction of a light-emitting device (). An optical filter () overlaps the light-transmitting region and does not overlap the plurality of light-emitting units ().

Light-emitting device

A substrate () is a light-transmitting substrate. A light-transmitting first electrode () is formed over the substrate (). An insulating layer () is formed over the substrate () and the first electrode () and includes an opening () overlapping the first electrode (). An organic layer () is located within at least the opening (). A light-transmitting second electrode () is formed over the organic layer (). An intermediate layer () is formed in at least a portion of a region of a lateral side of the first electrode () overlapping the first electrode (). A refractive index of the intermediate layer () is between a refractive index of the substrate () and a refractive index of the first electrode ().

A partition member () partitions a space occupied by a person from the outside. The space is, for example, an interior of a mobile object () such as a vehicle. A substrate () is disposed on a surface of the partition member () on the space side and has optical transparency. On a surface (a second surface ()) of the substrate () on the space side, a plurality of light-emitting units and an insulating layer () are disposed. Each light-emitting unit () includes a light-transmitting first electrode (), an organic layer (), and a second electrode () in this order from the external side. The insulating layer () defines the plurality of light-emitting units (). A third region (: a light-transmitting region) in the substrate () in which the second electrode () and the insulating layer () are not formed is provided between light-emitting units () next to each other.

Light-emitting device with a first and a second optical filter

A substrate () has optical transparency, and a light-emitting unit () is formed on the substrate (). The light-emitting unit () includes a first electrode (), an organic layer (), and a second electrode (). The organic layer () is located between the first electrode () and the second electrode (). The second electrode () extends outside the light-emitting unit (). At least an end of a portion of the second electrode () which is located outside the light-emitting unit () is oxidized.

Light-emitting device, method of manufacturing light-emitting device, and light-emitting system

An optical device () includes a joining structure in which a first conductive film () and a second conductive film () are joined to each other. The first conductive film () that constitutes the joining structure is constituted by a conductive material. The second conductive film () that constitutes the joining structure is constituted by a metal material. Apart of the second conductive film () comes into contact with the first conductive film (). A plurality of concave portions are provided in a contact surface of the second conductive film () which comes into contact with the first conductive film (). The contact surface has a surface roughness greater than a surface roughness of a non-contact surface of the second conductive film () which does not come into contact with the first conductive film ().

An optical device () includes a joining structure in which a first conductive film () and a second conductive film () are joined to each other. The first conductive film () that constitutes the joining structure is constituted by a conductive material. The second conductive film () that constitutes the joining structure is constituted by a metal material. A part of the second conductive film () comes into contact with the first conductive film (). A plurality of concave portions are provided in a contact surface of the second conductive film () which comes into contact with the first conductive film (). The contact surface has a surface roughness greater than a surface roughness of a non-contact surface of the second conductive film () which does not come into contact with the first conductive film ().

A light-emitting device () includes a first light-emitting region () and a second light-emitting region (). The first light-emitting region () emits a light ray having a first color by making a first light-emitting layer group including at least two or more kinds of light-emitting layers emit light. In addition, the second light-emitting region () emits a light ray having the first color (for example, daylight color, natural white color, white color, warm white color, or incandescent color) by making a second light-emitting layer group including at least two or more kinds of light-emitting layers emit light. In addition, at least one kind of light-emitting layer included in the second light-emitting layer group emits a light ray having a different spectrum peak from all of the light-emitting layers included in the first light-emitting layer group. Therefore, the color-rendering properties of light emitted from the light-emitting device () are improved.
