A biosensor having a satisfactory wearing comfort is provided, taking the compressive elastic modulus, the thickness and the planar area of the component into account. The biosensor includes a substrate having a rigidity K of 3.0 N&#xb7;mmor less expressed by following formula (1), and a component provided on a first main surface of the substrate, the component having a rigidity that satisfies following formula (2) and is equal to or greater than a predetermined value,/12&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)&#x2264;6.34&#xd7;10&#x2003;&#x2003;(2)where E and T in formula (1) denote a compressive elastic modulus at 23&#xb0; C. expressed in megapascals (MPa), and a thickness expressed in millimeters (mm), respectively. In formula (2), K denotes the rigidity expressed by formula (1) in newton millimeters squared (N&#xb7;mm), and S denotes a planar area expressed in square centimeters (cm).

A method of producing a polylactic acid based film or sheet with improved heat resistance and comprised of a resin composition containing a polylactic acid according to a melt film forming method, wherein the resin composition comprises polylactic acid (A), an acidic functional group-denatured olefin based polymer (B) containing an acidic functional group, and having an acid number of 10-70 mg KOH/g and a weight average molecular weight of 10,000-80,000, and a tetrafluoroethylene based polymer (C), which method comprises performing melt film formation at a temperature of the resin composition between the crystallization temperature (Tc) in a decreasing temperature process of the resin composition +15&#xb0; C. and the melting temperature (Tm) in a raising temperature process &#x2212;5&#xb0; C., or solidifying the resin composition melt-formed in a film state by cooling after a temperature controllable step at crystallization temperature (Tc) in the decreasing temperature process &#xb1;10&#xb0; C.

A film or sheet composed of a resin composition including a poly lactic acid (A), an acidic functional group-modified olefinic polymer (B) including an acidic functional group and having an acid value of 10 to 70 mg KOH/g and a weight average molecular weight of 10,000 to 80,000, a tetrafluoroethylene polymer (C), and an aromatic cyclic phosphazene-containing flame retardant (D) including a compound of Formula (I) and in (D) is included in an amount of 10 to 70 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of (A), and a method for manufacturing the film or sheet by melt film formation. 

Flame-retardant poly lactic acid-containing film or sheet, and method for manufacturing thereof

Polylactic acid film or sheet having tear strength so as not to break or tear during, for example, production or processing of the film or sheet or winding thereof into a roll, and causing neither melt nor deformation at high temperatures more than 100&#xb0; C. In the polylactic acid film or sheet, the tear strength is not less than 100 N/mm when the film or sheet is torn at least in a flow direction (MD), a rate of dimensional change due to heating is not more than &#xb1;3% in the flow direction (MD) and a transverse direction (TD), and a rate of dimensional change due to loaded heating is not more than &#xb1;3% in the flow direction (MD).

Polylactic acid film or sheet, and pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or sheet

A polyester-based pressure-sensitive adhesive composition which can be produced even from plant-derived raw materials with no need of using a costly silicone-based pressure-sensitive adhesive or the like and which is usable for producing a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet excellent in wettability to an adherend, light peelability (removability), anti-staining property (little adhesive residues), and workability, and to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet using the composition. A polyester-based pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprising a polyester obtained by condensation polymerization of at least a carboxylic acid component and a diol component, and a crosslinking agent, wherein the carboxylic acid component contains a dicarboxylic acid having a side chain in an amount of 50 to 90% by weight and a tricarboxylic acid having a side chain in an amount of 10 to 50% by weight, and wherein the polyester has a weight average molecular weight of 5000 to 150000.

Pressure-sensitive adhesive composition and pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet

A polyester-based pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises a polyester obtained by condensation polymerization of at least a dicarboxylic acid having a side chain and a diol, a polyether polyol, and a crosslinking agent, wherein the polyester has a weight average molecular weight of 5000 to 50000, the polyether polyol contains a polyether polyol having hydroxyl groups at only part of terminals and/or all terminals, the polyether polyol having hydroxyl groups at only part of terminals has a number average molecular weight of 100 to 1500, and the polyether polyol having hydroxyl groups at only part of terminals is contained in an amount of 1 to 35 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the polyester.

Provided are a film or sheet composed of a resin composition that includes a poly lactic acid (A), an acidic functional group-modified olefinic polymer (B) including an acidic functional group and having an acid value of 10 to 70 mg KOH/g and a weight average molecular weight of 10,000 to 80,000, a tetrafluoroethylene polymer (C), and a dicarboxylic acid ester-containing plasticizer (D) containing a compound of General Formula (1) and in which the dicarboxylic acid ester-containing plasticizer (D) is included in an amount of 8 parts by weight or more and less than 40 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the poly lactic acid (A), and a method for manufacturing the film or sheet by melt film formation.
