An air conditioning system includes an outdoor unit including a control device, an indoor unit communicably connected to the control device, and an outside air processor communicably connected to the control device. The indoor unit is capable of performing ordinary operation control to adjust a temperature of air in a room, the air being taken in the indoor unit, and supply the air into the room, and output restriction control under which an output is restricted as compared with an output under the ordinary operation control. The outside air processor is capable of performing ordinary operation control to adjust at least one of a temperature and a humidity of air outside the room, the air being taken in the outside air processor, and supply the air into the room, and output restriction control under which an output is restricted as compared with an output under the ordinary operation control. The control device causes the outside air processor to shift from the ordinary operation control to the output restriction control on condition that the indoor unit shifts from the ordinary operation control to the output restriction control.

Air conditioning system for selectively suppressing indoor and outdoor unit operation

An air-conditioning system includes: an air conditioner including an outdoor unit and a plurality of indoor units each provided in a corresponding one of a plurality of indoor spaces and each including a first control unit; and a second control unit capable of communicating with the first control units. Each first control unit is capable of communicating with a countermeasure device if the countermeasure device is installed in correspondence with one of the indoor spaces where the first control unit is located. The second control unit has a first function of prohibiting operation of the air conditioner if a first condition where communication between the first control unit and the countermeasure device is not established in any of the indoor units is satisfied.

An air-conditioning system includes: an air conditioner including a refrigerant circuit formed by connecting an outdoor unit and a plurality of indoor units together, the air conditioner being configured to condition air in a plurality of indoor spaces; at least one countermeasure device provided in correspondence with at least one of the plurality of indoor spaces and configured to operate during leakage of a refrigerant; a plurality of detectors configured to detect a concentration of the refrigerant, at least one of the detectors being provided in each of the plurality of indoor spaces; and a control unit configured to operate all of the at least one countermeasure device if at least one of the concentrations of the refrigerant respectively detected by the plurality of detectors exceeds a predetermined value.

Air-conditioning system with refrigerant leak detection and countermeasures

In a refrigeration apparatus including a refrigerant circuit in which a refrigerant in a gas-liquid two-phase state flows through a liquid-side connection pipe, a refrigerant-amount determining method and a refrigerant-amount determining device capable of grasping an appropriate refrigerant charging amount corresponding to the length of the connection pipe is provided. Provided is a refrigerant-amount determining method for a refrigerant to be charged to a refrigeration apparatus including a refrigerant circuit in which a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger that functions as a condenser, an outdoor expansion valve, indoor heat exchangers that function as evaporators, a liquid-side connection pipe that feeds the refrigerant, which has passed through the outdoor heat exchanger and then has been decompressed by the outdoor expansion valve, to each of the indoor heat exchangers, and a gas-side connection pipe that feeds the refrigerant, which has passed through each of the indoor heat exchangers, to a suction side of the compressor, are connected to one another. The method determines a refrigerant amount of the refrigerant to be charged to the refrigerant circuit such that a refrigerant amount per unit length of the liquid-side connection pipe increases as a length of the liquid-side connection pipe is larger.
