A control device that controls a battery includes one or more processors configured to: acquire a physical quantity of the battery; detect a predetermined signal; control a relay based on the physical quantity of the battery, the relay being connected between the battery and a predetermined device to which power is supplied from the battery; connect the relay when the physical quantity of the battery has continuously satisfied a predetermined condition for a first time period while the relay is in a disconnected state; and change the first time period depending on whether the predetermined signal has been detected by the one or more processors.

Control device, control method, and non- transitory storage medium

A relay circuit includes a relay and a current divider. The relay includes a coil and a contact. The contact is configured to switches on and off a supply of power to a load that is configured to operate with power supplied from a direct-current power supply through conduction of the coil. The current divider is connected between the contact and the load and configured to split a current supplied from the power supply to the load. The current divider incudes a resistor and a capacitor connected in series and grounded.

Relay circuit and electric junction box

A relay driver circuit is connected between an upper stage relay and a lower stage relay and is configured to be driven in response to driving of the upper relay. The relay driver circuit drives the lower stage relay. The relay driver circuit includes a semiconductor component, a control input line, a protective component, and a buffer circuit. The semiconductor component switches on and off the lower relay. The control input line is electrically connected to a control terminal of the semiconductor component. A power supply voltage is applied to the control input line via the upper stage relay. The protective component is connected in the control input line to protect the semiconductor component. The buffer circuit is connected between the protective component in the control input line and the control terminal of the semiconductor component to compensate for a voltage drop due to the protective component.

Relay driver circuit

A power supply control device includes a control unit that executes determination processing that, when an operation instruction is received from a switch input detection unit, determines, in a case in which the switch circuit is turned on, whether or not a power source voltage value will decrease to or below an acceptable voltage value on the basis of a power source voltage value obtained from a voltage detection unit and a load current value stored in a storage unit in advance; and in the determination processing, executes switch control processing which allows the switch circuit to be turned on if the power source voltage value is determined to not decrease to or below the acceptable voltage value and does not allow the switch circuit to be turned on if the power source voltage value is determined to decrease to or below the acceptable voltage value.
