The present invention provides a method for producing an aqueous dispersion of pseudopolyrotaxane that enables the production, by an industrially advantageous method for an aqueous dispersion of pseudopolyrotaxane in which the inclusion amount of a cyclodextrin does not increase with time and which can provide a crosslinked polyrotaxane having sufficient stretchability and breaking strength. The present invention relates to a method for producing an aqueous dispersion of pseudopolyrotaxane containing pseudopolyrotaxane particles in which a polyethylene glycol is included in a cavity of a cyclodextrin molecule in a skewered manner, the method including: an inclusion step of mixing a polyethylene glycol and a cyclodextrin in an aqueous medium to include the polyethylene glycol in a cavity of a cyclodextrin molecule, wherein in the inclusion step, a basic compound is added.

Method for producing pseudopolyrotaxane aqueous dispersion

The present invention aims to provide an industrially advantageous method of producing a powdery pseudopolyrotaxane with a high inclusion ratio. The present invention relates to a method for producing a pseudopolyrotaxane, including: an inclusion step of mixing a polyethylene glycol and a cyclodextrin in an aqueous medium to form an aqueous dispersion of pseudopolyrotaxane that contains pseudopolyrotaxane particles in which the polyethylene glycol is included in the cavities of the cyclodextrin molecules in a skewered manner; and a drying step of drying the aqueous dispersion of pseudopolyrotaxane produced in the inclusion step to obtain the pseudopolyrotaxane. In the drying step, the aqueous dispersion of pseudopolyrotaxane is sprayed and dried in a heated gas-stream.

Method for producing pseudopolyrotaxane

The present invention aims to provide a method for producing a polyrotaxane which enables industrially advantageous production of a polyrotaxane with a high inclusion rate. The present invention relates to a method for producing a polyrotaxane that includes a cyclodextrin; a compound having a repeating structural unit represented by the following formula (1), and threading through a cavity of the cyclodextrin in a skewered manner to be included in the cyclodextrin; and capping groups individually placed at each end of a molecule of the compound having a repeating structural unit represented by the formula (1) to prevent the cyclodextrin from separating, the method comprising: a step 1 of mixing the compound having a repeating structural unit represented by the formula (1) and the cyclodextrin in an aqueous medium to prepare an aqueous dispersion of pseudopolyrotaxan particles in which the compound having a repeating structural unit represented by the formula (1) is included in a cavity of a cyclodextrin molecule in a skewered manner; and a step 2 of mixing a triazine compound represented by the formula (2), a compound having at least one tertiary amino group, the aqueous dispersion of pseudopolyrotaxane particles prepared in the step 1, and a capping agent to introduce capping groups individually at each end of a molecule of the compound having a repeating structural unit represented by the formula (1) in the pseudopolyrotaxane particles, wherein, in the formula (2), Rand Rare each independently a C1-C4 alkyl group or a C6-C8 aryl group, and X represents a halogen atom.

Method for manufacturing polyrotaxane

The present invention aims to provide an industrially advantageous method for producing an aqueous dispersion of pseudopolyrotaxane enabling to produce an aqueous dispersion of pseudopolyrotaxane having good fluidity and excellent dispersion stability of the pseudopolyrotaxane particles therein. The present invention relates to a method for producing an aqueous dispersion of pseudopolyrotaxane. The method includes: a mixing step of a dissolving polyethylene glycol and a cyclodextrin in an aqueous medium to prepare a mixed solution; and a cooling step of continuously or intermittently cooling the mixed solution in a state of flux to precipitate pseudopolyrotaxane particles. The pseudopolyrotaxane particles contain the polyethylene glycol which is included in the cavities of the cyclodextrin molecules in a skewered manner.

The present invention aims to provide a method of producing a hydrophilic modified polyrotaxane, which enables production of a hydrophilic modified polyrotaxane excellent in storage stability in an industrially advantageous way. The present invention relates to a polyrotaxane composition comprising: a polyrotaxane containing a cyclodextrin, a polyethylene glycol which is included in the cavities of the cyclodextrin molecules in a skewered manner, and a capping group that is placed at each end of the polyethylene glycol and prevents dissociation of the cyclodextrin molecules from the polyethylene glycol; and a polyphenol antioxidant.

The method for producing a refined polyrotaxane includes the step of heat-cleaning a polyrotaxane with a cleaning medium, the polyrotaxane containing cyclodextrin molecules, a polyethylene glycol which is included in the cavities of the cyclodextrin molecules in a skewered manner, and a capping group that is placed at each end of the polyethylene glycol and prevents dissociation of the cyclodextrin molecules from the polyethylene glycol.
