The invention includes a three-phase full-bridge power converter, a motor generator driven by the power converter, a pulse number generator which determines the number of pulses included in the driving signal for one electrical cycle, a voltage command generator which determines a modulation factor and a phase angle of driving voltage, and a pulse generator which generates the driving signal, and, in this invention, the pulse generator generates the driving signal having a pulse waveform which minimizes power loss in the power generator and the motor generator according to the number of pulses, the modulation factor, and the phase angle.

Motor-driving system

It is determined that a periodic zero current stagnation state is reached to correct a voltage command of a smoothing capacitor downward by a predetermined voltage when a state where a current (reactor current) flowing through a coil in a dead time when switching elements are both off immediately after the switching element (upper arm) is turned off from on stagnates at a value of 0 occurs at switching periods of the switching elements. This can prevent a voltage of the smoothing capacitor from becoming unexpectedly higher than the voltage command in the current stagnation state, prevent the smoothing capacitor from being damaged by an overvoltage and prevent excessive torque from being output from motors.

An overmodulation PWM controller includes a voltage instruction calculation unit which calculates a d axis voltage instruction and a q axis voltage instruction in which a voltage amplitude exceeds a peak value of a triangular wave carrier; a voltage instruction correction unit which corrects the d axis voltage instruction and the q axis voltage instruction so that a pulse width modulation voltage applied to an AC motor has a fundamental wave amplitude corresponding to the voltage instruction amplitude, according to the synchronization value K which is the number of the triangular carriers per one cycle of the phase voltage instruction; and a voltage instruction conversion unit which converts the corrected d axis voltage instruction and the q axis voltage instruction into a phase voltage instruction. The pulse width modulation voltage is controlled according to the result of comparison between the phase voltage instruction and the triangular wave carrier.

AC motor drive controller

A desired current is caused to flow through a coil by controlling switching of switching elements by a PWM controller. For a voltage sensor, a value of Vo&#x2212;&#x394;V, which is a difference between a midpoint voltage Vo of the switching elements and a predetermined threshold voltage &#x394;V, and a value of Vo&#x2212;(Vc&#x2212;&#x394;V), which is a difference between the midpoint voltage Vo and a value obtained by subtracting the threshold voltage &#x394;V from a voltage Vc of an upper line, are determined. Then, the determined results obtained from the voltage sensor are input to the PWM controller through flip-flops and a dead time compensator to compensate for dead time, such as, for example, for a command for PWM control signal generation.

Power conversion circuit

A motor controller for correcting offset of a drive current of a motor. An offset amount calculating section () calculates offset amounts (Iuofs, Ivofs, Iwofs) of the drive currents (Iu, Iv, Iw) when the motor is being driven. A drive signal correcting section () corrects offset of the drive currents (Iu, Iv, Iw) by correcting the duty ratios of drive signals (Suo, Svo, Swo) based on the offset amounts (Iuofs, Ivofs, Iwofs).

Motor controller

In one coordinate system of arbitrary rectangular coordinate systems including a coordinate system in which the position of a stator is fixed, a coordinate system in which the position of a rotor is fixed, and a coordinate system which rotates at a rotational frequency which is n times (n is an integer which is not 0 or 1) that of the rotor, a filter on any other coordinate system is defined. Further, driving of a motor is controlled by utilizing this filter. As a result, a coordinate transformation operation need not be individually performed with respect to control variables.

Drive control apparatus and method of alternating current motor

A switching operation of two switching elements is controlled by a controller. Specifically, by adjusting the duty ratio concerning the lower switching element, a capacitor voltage is controlled to a target value. This control is executed not only by simply performing a PI control with respect to the capacitor voltage based on a deviation from the target value, but also by performing feedback control with respect to battery power and output energy. Further, a scheduling factor based on battery voltage, capacitor voltage, and the like is employed to control the gain of the feedback control.

DC/DC converter control system

A motor driver circuit including an inverter, a motor-drive-current detector, a current detector, and a controller operable to calculate a d-axis current difference between the detected d-axis current and a commanded d-axis current value, and a q-axis current difference between the detected q-axis current and a commanded q-axis current value. The controller is further operable on the basis of the calculated d-axis and q-axis current differences, to calculate a d-axis difference signal which is not influenced by a q-axis input voltage of the motor and which is influenced by a d-axis input voltage of the motor, and a q-axis difference signal which is not influenced by the d-axis input voltage and which is influenced by the q-axis input voltage. The controller controls the inverter, so as to zero the d-axis and q-axis difference signals.

Motor driver circuit and method of controlling the motor driver circuit

Thereby, the capacitor ( ) can be charged or discharged. Consequently, an inverter input voltage can be adjusted within a wide range.

Driving apparatus, power output apparatus, and control method

When the absolute values of the negative voltage V&minus; and the positive voltage V&plus; of a rectangular wave to be applied to the three phase coils of the motor driven using a rectangular-waved voltage are different, time T and time T for the rectangular wave are adjusted such that the area A representing the absolute value of a time integration value of the negative voltage V&minus; and the area B representing the absolute value of a time integration value of the positive voltage V&plus; becomes equal to each other. With this adjustment, the average voltage of the rectangular wave becomes of value 0, so that a DC component current is prevented from flowing into the three phase coils of the motor.

Power output device

A direct-current power supply connecting the negative pole bus of an inverter circuit and the neutral point of a motor and a capacitor connecting the positive pole bus of the inverter circuit and the neutral point of the motor are provided for performing the switching control of the transistors T -T of the inverter circuit on the basis of a phase voltage command value formed by the addition of a direct-current component and an alternating-current component. The voltage between the terminals of the capacitor is controlled on the direct-current component, and the driving control of the motor is performed on the alternating-current component. The supply voltage of the direct-current power supply can be made to be lower than a voltage necessary to drive the motor. Moreover, the withstand voltage of the capacitor can be made to be smaller and the relay circuit can be simplified in comparison with an apparatus equipped with a capacitor connected between the positive pole bus and the negative pole bus of an inverter circuit. As a result, the downsizing of an apparatus and the reduction in costs can be achieved, and the durability and the reliability of the apparatus can be improved.

Mechanical power outputting apparatus and inverter apparatus

To improve accuracy in controlling battery output, a charge-storage element is connected in parallel to a plurality of power source units. Each power source unit includes a power source element, and power transmission and reception between the power source element and a neutral point N side can be controlled by controlling the ratio of time over which an open/close switch remains closed, determined according to which among the voltage at the power source element or a voltage across the power source unit is larger or smaller. As an output of each power source element can be controlled, accuracy in output control for the combination battery can be improved.
