An indoor unit includes a housing that houses an electrical-component storage box that includes a body portion, a lid portion, and an engagement mechanism portion that engages the body portion and the lid portion with each other in a detachable manner. The lid portion covers an open region on a side of the body portion. The engagement mechanism portion includes an engagement claw portion provided at one of the body and lid portions and an engagement hole portion into which the claw portion is inserted, and which is formed at the other of the body and lid portions.

Connecting metal member for a column end

In a column end joint structure for joining an end of a column made of flat wooden material having a rectangular cross-section to a joining member, splitting generation at the end of the column is controlled. An expansion of crack is controlled when splitting generated. A cutout portion is provided in each of ends in a longitudinal direction of a column end face, and a joint fitting is coupled inside the cutout portion by a joint bolt. The joint fitting is coupled to a foundation by an anchor bolt. Joint fittings are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the end face inside each cutout portion. One joint fitting is located contacting or close to a surface of the column inside the cutout portion such that the joint fitting side face and the surface of the column inside the cutout portion restrain a displacement orthogonal to the column axis.

Column end joint structure

Disclosed is a coupling member that enables a joint between a wooden member and a mating member to absorb vibration energy, and a method for producing the same and a joint structure using the same. The metal coupling member is embedded in the wooden member. The wooden member is connected with a mating member by the coupling member. The coupling member includes a metal rod-like main body portion to be embedded in the wooden member, and an inner rod portion protruding from the main body portion. The inner rod portion axially extends from a protruding portion thereof to a predetermined depth in the main body portion, has a periphery separated from the main body portion to allow axial displacement of the inner rod portion relative to the main body portion, and is integrally connected to the main body portion at the deepest part thereof.

Coupling member, method for producing coupling member, and wooden member joint structure

A wooden member joint structure having high strength against load repeatedly applied in opposite directions, with improved work efficiency in joining the wooden member to a mating member. A screw member having spiral protrusion on its outer peripheral surface and an axial hollow hole is threaded axially into a wooden column. A distal end of joint bolt is threadedly engaged with bottom of the hollow hole. The joint bolt has an integrally formed flange, and the flange is threaded into the column together with the screw member with its contact surface firmly pressed against end face of the screw member. A joint device is clamped between a fastening nut threadably mounted on a proximal end of the joint bolt and the flange and coupled to the screw member via the joint bolt. The joint device is secured to a foundation by an anchor bolt protruding therefrom and a fastening nut.

Wooden member joint structure

The wooden building skeleton of the present invention has excellent quake resistance because the column of a rigid-frame structure joined to a cross member or the foundation so that a bending moment can be transferred therebetween and the load-bearing wall therein exhibit their load bearing ability. A foundation and a wooden column and the wooden column and a beam are respectively joined by two bolts so that a bending moment can be transferred therebetween. A load-bearing wall is also provided between the beam and the foundation. The length of the section of the bolts which undergoes elongation when inter-story deflection occurs between the beam and the foundation or the cross-sectional dimensions of the wooden column is set such that the inter-story deflection which is generated before the wooden column is fractured is almost equal to or greater than the inter-story deflection which is generated before the load-bearing wall is fractured.

Wooden building skeleton

Wooden member to be easily joined to another member, with good appearance of decreased size fixation structure for tensile member to improve the load bearing performance. Metal screw members including cylindrical shaft portions having an axial direction through hole and blade spirally protruding from the shaft portion are axially threaded into wooden member at two locations. Groove or hollow hole is between the two screw members, and steel rod extends from the through hole of one of the screw members through the groove or hollow hole into the through hole of the other. Both ends of the steel rod with tensioning force are locked to the screw member by nuts. Cutout recesses are formed in the wooden member, and the screw members are threaded into the wooden member through the recesses and the steel rod is locked to the screw members.

Wooden member assembly

A flame resistant polymer composition comprising: (A) 100 parts by weight of a mixture which comprises 1-99 wt % of (a-1) an olefin polymer and 1-99 wt % of (a-2) a hydrogenated conjugated diene polymer in which 80% or more of double bonds of the conjugated diene are saturated or (a-3) a random copolymer of ethylene and &agr;-olefin having 3-10 carbon atoms, or both (a-2) and (a-3); and (B) 5 parts by weight or more of an inorganic flame retardant. The composition has excellent flame resistance, is free from production of toxic gas and environmental pollutant substances, and exhibits superior well-balanced characteristics such as molding processability, tensile strength, pliability (anti-whitening on bending), flexing resistance, and flexibility. The composition is useful as an electric wire coating material for interconnect wiring in equipment or harnesses for vehicles, and as industrial materials for insulating tapes.
