Risk element information indicating risk elements is acquired. An asset capable of becoming a fault due to a risk element indicated in the risk element information, and a fault probability that the asset becomes the fault are specified based on static configuration information. A risk model in which the asset capable of becoming the fault and the fault probability are associated is generated in advance. In response to a designated input, an one asset to be evaluated is specified as an evaluation target asset, based on the designated input. A risk model related to the evaluation target asset is specified. A risk evaluation value being an index indicating a risk of the evaluation target asset is calculated based on the fault probability of the evaluation target asset and the static configuration information. The risk evaluation value of the evaluation target asset is associated with the asset of the risk model.

Risk management system and method

One array of grindstones is used for in-feed grinding and creep-feed grinding. Therefore, it is not necessary to position a chuck table that is holding a plate-shaped workpiece with respect to two different arrays of grindstones. As a result, a period of time required to grind the plate-shaped workpiece can be shortened. Furthermore, lower surfaces of the grindstones are used for the in-feed grinding, whereas side surfaces of the grindstones are used for the creep-feed grinding. Consequently, the amount by which the grindstones are worn can be smaller than that in a case where the plate-shaped workpiece is ground to a predetermined thickness in only the in-feed grinding or the creep-feed grinding.

An information collection and display system is provided, in which a data generation device that generates site data and a transaction data accumulation unit that stores the site data are connected. The system includes an association data accumulation unit storing association data which defines an association of each of multiple pieces of information included in the site data; an association data search unit which searches for second information associated with first information included in the pieces of information, on the basis of the association data; and a user interface that displays a connection relation of the pieces of information associated by the association data. A supply chain model generation system independently uses a business entity code and an item code representing an item related to a transaction in result information on a supply chain operation of a plurality of business entities; transaction information is extracted from the result information and a transaction time series information table is generated; a relationship in the transaction time series information table in each business entity is analyzed and a virtual business entity code on a supply side and a virtual business entity code on a demand side are assigned for each business entity code; and further a logical model information table where a virtual item code is assigned with respect to an item code related to the transaction of a business entity of the virtual business entity code on the supply side and a business entity of the virtual business entity code on the demand side is generated.

A grinding apparatus includes a holding unit including a holding table having a holder for holding a workpiece and a grinding water suction part for drawing in grinding water outside of the holder, a rotational shaft having an end fixed centrally to a bottom surface of the holding table, a tubular rotary joint surrounding the rotational shaft, and a motor rotating the rotational shaft about its own axis. The rotational shaft has a first suction channel held in fluid communication with the holder of the holding table and a second suction channel held in fluid communication with the grinding water suction part. The rotary joint has a communication channel by which the first suction channel and the second suction channel are held in fluid communication with at least a suction source.

Grinding apparatus

Systems, methods and devices for failure analysis are provided. Using aggregation flow mining (AFM) or a similar method, an integrated mining of flow (IMF) acquires, from each router to be tested, information relating to each flow. The IMF, in relation to each of the routers, obtains distributions of statistical information such as throughput or difference for each flow; calculates, in relation to each of the distributions, a Mahalanobis distance in relation to the expected value of a reference distribution; and makes a comprehensive assessment of the distributions to perform a fault determination. When the fault determination is performed, a normal value of the distribution used for comparison is acquired from AFM and updated through feedback as needed. After the results of fault determination relating to other routers are assessed, the expected value of the standard deviation and the average value of the reference distribution used for comparison are updated.

An information processing device includes: an information acquisition process control unit for selecting an information piece to be selected and sending an instruction to a communication unit; the communication unit for transmitting an information acquisition request to other information processing device connected via a network, and acquiring information from the other information processing device according to the instruction; and a storage unit storing a display amount information indicating the amount of display information which can be displayed on a display unit at once. The information acquisition process control unit instructs the communication unit to acquire more information than the amount indicated by the display amount information. This realizes an effective information acquisition and appropriate user-friendliness.

For providing a user a plural number of trans-coding services with using a plural number of trans-coding services, at high speed, within a home network environment, an information processing apparatus is provided with a function of providing a list of formats, on which format conversion can be made, to a home server, and a function of managing the format conversion processes with using process identifiers, which are shared in common with the server and the information processing apparatus, each of the process identifiers being tied with information of a format conversion method, wherein the format conversion is executed upon a part of contents divided within the home server, following the process identifier designated by the home server, to grasp performances of the information processing apparatuses by measuring throughput per a unit time in the format conversion, and an adjustment is made on an amount of data to be transferred from the home server to the information processing apparatus in the next time, thereby enabling high speed processing of the format conversions.

When adjusting a free-running frequency of a voltage controlled oscillator, the video intermediate frequency processing apparatus receives a VIF-DEFEAT signal to a VIF-AMP to minimize gain of the VIF-AMP, and thereby, the VCO is placed into a free-running state. The VIF-DEFEAT signal is also used to turn off a switch, thereby preventing the detection result such as a weak electric field of a video detection signal by an IF-AGC circuit from being input into an AFT-DEFEAT circuit. Therefore, in an automatic frequency tuning circuit, it is possible to take a free-running frequency of the VCO converted into a direct current from a pad.
