A motor attaching structure and a motor attaching method capable of preventing vibration from occurring are provided. A shaft holding a rotor of a motor rotatable thereon is fixed to a first holder. An annular second holder holds a core serving as a stator of the motor with a peripheral portion thereof being arranged between a case and the first holder. Screws to be used as fixing members fix the case, the first holder, and the second holder integrally to each other. The second holder further includes a holding portion which holds the stator and an absorbing portion located between the peripheral portion and the holding portion and possessing a thickness less than the peripheral portion.

According to one embodiment, a CPAP device includes a housing, a fan, and a sound absorbing material. The housing has a first air inlet and a first air outlet, and a flow channel guiding air sucked through the first air inlet to the first air outlet. The fan has a second air inlet and a second air outlet, the second air inlet is disposed in the direction intersecting the flow channel, and the second air outlet is disposed in the direction along the flow channel. The sound absorbing material is provided with a recess constituting a part of the flow channel and facing the second air inlet of the fan, the recess having a diameter which is greater than a diameter of the second air inlet of the fan and which is equal to or smaller than the width of the flow channel.

CPAP device

A fan unit produces an airflow. A pressure difference generating member causes a pressure difference in the airflow. A sensor detects a pressure difference between the air pressure on the upstream side of the pressure difference generating member and the air pressure on the downstream side thereof. A straightening plate is provided between the fan unit and the pressure difference generating member, and straightens the airflow produced by the fan unit. A straightening plate comprises a first fin and a second fin which are arranged along the airflow, and a lattice-like third fin which is arranged on the downstream side of the first fin and the second fin, and through which the airflow through the first fin and the second fin passes.

A blower device includes a housing including an intake chamber, an accommodation chamber communicating with the intake chamber, and an exhaust port, a motor provided in the accommodation chamber and including a coil, a fan provided on a rotating shaft of the motor, a sealing member configured to seal up the intake chamber, and a flow path of the air which is introduced into a gap between a first surface of the fan and the housing, is returned from a flow path hole provided in the housing and communicating with the intake chamber to an opening, and is introduced to a second surface of the fan opposed to the first surface by an air-blowing operation of the fan.

In a motor, a dynamic pressure gas bearing is prevented from seizing when the motor shaft and a sleeve contact each other. The number of rotations of a rotating body with respect to a case is maintained substantially constant both before and after contact. Auxiliary bearings are arranged in series with the gas bearing. A non-contact detent torque generation mechanism in parallel with the auxiliary bearings suppresses rotation in the auxiliary bearings. The sum of a predetermined detent torque generated by the torque generation mechanism during a rotation suppression time and the friction torque of the auxiliary bearings is smaller than the magnitude of an adhesion-time contact friction torque generated when the motor shaft and sleeve adhere to each other and is greater than the magnitude of a rotation-time viscous friction torque of the dynamic pressure gas bearing while the motor shaft and sleeve are spaced from each other.

This invention prevents seizure of a dynamic pressure gas bearing caused upon swinging contact between a motor shaft and a sleeve and an increase in contact friction torque. It also detects rotation of auxiliary bearings. A motor includes auxiliary bearings in series with a dynamic pressure gas bearing, and a non-contact detent torque generation mechanism parallel to the auxiliary bearings suppresses rotation of the auxiliary bearings. Where Ta denotes rotation-time viscous friction torque of the dynamic pressure gas bearing, Tka denotes contact friction torque possibly causing damage to the dynamic pressure gas bearing, Tb denotes rotation friction torque of the auxiliary bearings, and Tddenotes maximum torque generated when rotation of the auxiliary bearings is suppressed by the non-contact detent torque generation mechanism, (Ta+Tka)&#x3e;(Tb+Td)&#x3e;(Ta), and the rotation detecting means detects the rotation of the auxiliary bearings.

In a gear motor that includes a reduction mechanism in which a planetary two-stage gear is arrayed between a sun gear of a planetary gear mechanism and an internal gear of a planetary gear mechanism, the reduction mechanism has at least a single planetary two-stage gear arrayed such as to be positioned between the sun gear and the internal gear and including a small gear or a large gear that meshes together with a large gear or a small gear of the planetary two-stage gear, and both end portions of the at least a single planetary two-stage gear are supported by ball bearings.

The air blower includes a case body having an air suction mouth and an outlet formed at a peripheral wall thereof; a motor which is installed into the case body, having a fluid dynamic bearing; and an impeller which is fixed to a rotation member of the motor, having a plurality of blade support plates, which is formed in the shape of a ring, capable of suctioning air from the air suction mouth by rotating and discharging from the outlet, provided at an upper and lower surfaces thereof, equalizing the difference in pressure between the upper and lower surfaces thereof. Therefore, it can rotate at a high speed, blow in under high pressure at large air volume even though it has small size and is economical and long-lived.
