A provided stretched porous polytetrafluoroethylene membrane has an air permeability of 4 cm/(sec·cm) or more, as expressed in terms of Frazier air permeability, in a thickness direction, and has a total cohesion of 1.9 (N/20 mm)or more, the total cohesion being expressed by a product of a peel cohesion in a first in-plane direction and a peel cohesion in a second in-plane direction perpendicular to the first direction. The above stretched porous membrane is highly air-permeable and, for example, when included in a filter member, being less likely to suffer breakage at the time of handling the member or placing the member on a housing or the like.

A cover member of the present invention is a cover member to be placed on a face of an object to prevent passage of a foreign matter through an opening of the face, the cover member including: a protective membrane having a shape configured to cover the opening when the cover member is placed on the face; and a first substrate layer joined to one of principal surfaces of the protective membrane. The first substrate layer has a laminated structure including at least two substrate films, and is positioned between the protective membrane and the face when the cover member is placed on the face. The at least two substrate films include a non-foam film and a foam film. The cover member of the present invention is suitable for improving the peelability from a member supply sheet.

A member supplying sheet provided includes: a protective cover member configured to be placed on a face of an object to prevent a foreign matter from entering an opening of the face; and a substrate sheet having a surface where the protective cover member is placed. The protective cover member includes a laminate including: a protective membrane having a shape configured to cover the opening when the protective cover member is placed on the face; and an adhesive layer. The protective cover member is placed on the surface of the substrate sheet via the adhesive layer. The member supplying sheet is suitable for supplying the protective cover member to a device that picks up the protective cover member in a state where the substrate sheet is pushed up from a back side of the substrate sheet, the back side being opposite to the surface.

A member of the present invention is to be placed to cover a ventilation hole in order to allow passage of gas between an outside and an inside of a housing through the ventilation hole of the housing and prevent dust and/or a liquid from entering the inside from the outside through the ventilation hole. The member of the present invention includes a porous membrane having air permeability in a thickness direction and a provisional protective film joined to the porous membrane to cover the porous membrane from the outside side. The provisional protective film is air-impermeable in a thickness direction or has lower air permeability in the thickness direction than the air permeability of the porous membrane. The provisional protective film and the porous membrane are joined to each other in such a manner that the provisional protective film is removable from the porous membrane.

A provided protective cover member is a protective cover member configured to be placed on a face of an object, the face having an opening. The protective cover member includes a laminate, and the laminate includes: a protective membrane having a shape configured to cover the opening when the member is placed on the face; and an adhesive agent layer. The adhesive agent layer includes a thermosetting adhesive layer including a thermosetting resin composition. The thermosetting resin composition has a storage modulus of 1×10Pa or more at 130 to 170° C. An air-permeable adhesive sheet has air permeability in a thickness direction thereof and including an adhesive agent layer having first through holes extending in the thickness direction, wherein at least one surface of the adhesive agent layer forms an adhesive surface, the through holes have an average opening diameter of 1.0 to 50 μm and an average interval of 5 to 400 μm, and a variation in air permeability in the thickness direction is 22% or less as represented by a coefficient of variation of an air permeability measured according to Method B for air permeability measurement (Gurley method) specified in JIS L 1096: 2010, with an effective measurement area as a predetermined value selected from 0.5 to 2.0 mm. The air-permeable adhesive sheet is a sheet capable of obtaining good characteristics such as air permeability even when being made into a sheet having a small area.

An adhesive tape substrate production method disclosed in the present description includes the steps of decreasing the amount of a sizing agent contained in a glass cloth by heat; impregnating the glass cloth for which the amount of the sizing agent has been decreased with a dispersion of a fluorine resin; and heating the impregnated glass cloth to a temperature equal to or higher than a melting point of the fluorine resin. Thus, an adhesive tape substrate including the glass cloth impregnated with the fluorine resin is obtained. This method are more productive of adhesive tape substrates and adhesive tapes than conventional methods. In addition, adhesive tape substrates and adhesive tapes for which the occurrence of defects in appearance are reduced can be produced.

Provided is a novel double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape that has excellent impact resistance and preferably further has excellent oil resistance. The double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape has a local maximum value of a loss tangent tan &#x3b4; of 1.5 or more, and a temperature at which the local maximum value is obtained, of from &#x2212;30&#xb0; C. to 0&#xb0; C.

A silicone adhesive composition includes 100 parts by weight of a peroxide-curable silicone, 1.2 to 3.2 parts by weight of an organic peroxide curing agent, and 2 to 9 parts by weight of an addition reaction-curable silicone rubber. An adhesive tape includes a base and an adhesive layer placed on the base, the adhesive layer being formed from the above silicone adhesive composition. The adhesive composition exhibits high load bearing capacity even in higher-temperature environments than ever before. The adhesive tape exhibits high load bearing capacity and good shelf life even in such high-temperature environments.

Provided is a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) sheet having a low relative dielectric constant, satisfactory metal corrosion preventing property, and excellent member holding performance. The present invention provides a PSA sheet having a PSA layer including a base polymer and a rust inhibitor. The base polymer is an acrylic polymer, and monomeric components constituting the acrylic polymer comprise a (meth)acrylate having an alkyl group having 5 or more carbon atoms at an ester end at 50% by weight or more of the monomeric components. The PSA layer has a relative dielectric constant of 3 or less at 300 kHz.

Pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet

Provided is a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) sheet including a PSA layer formed from a PSA composition including a base polymer, crosslinking agents of two or more species having mutually different types of crosslinkable functional groups, and an azole-based rust inhibitor. Here, one of the crosslinking agents of two or more species is an isocyanate-based crosslinking agent. Monomeric components constituting the base polymer include a carboxy group-containing monomer. The amount of the azole-based rust inhibitor in the PSA layer is less than 8 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the base polymer.

An adhesive tape substrate production method disclosed in the present description includes the steps of: decreasing the amount of a sizing agent contained in a glass cloth by heat; impregnating the glass cloth for which the amount of the sizing agent has been decreased with a dispersion of a fluorine resin; and heating the impregnated glass cloth to a temperature equal to or higher than a melting point of the fluorine resin. Thus, an adhesive tape substrate including the glass cloth impregnated with the fluorine resin is obtained. This method are more productive of adhesive tape substrates and adhesive tapes than conventional methods. In addition, adhesive tape substrates and adhesive tapes for which the occurrence of defects in appearance are reduced can be produced.
