An actuator includes a rod, an electric motor to generate a rotational driving force on supply of electricity, an output shaft to output the rotational driving force of the electric motor to the rod, a feed screw mechanism, and a rotation prevention mechanism. The feed screw mechanism includes a female screw portion formed on one of the output shaft and the rod, and a male screw portion formed on the other to mesh with the female screw portion. The rotation prevention mechanism is configured to regulate rotation of the rod caused by the rotational driving force of the electric motor.

Electric flow control valve and actuator

In an aerial vehicle, a malfunction determiner determines whether there is a malfunction in one of thrusters of the aerial vehicle. A flight controller activates the thrusters, and controls the output of each of the thrusters. The flight controller deactivates, when it is determined that there is a malfunction in one of the thrusters as a malfunctioned thruster, the malfunctioned thruster. The flight controller deactivates a selected thruster in the thrusters; the selected thruster being paired to the malfunctioned thruster, and controls the active thrusters except for the deactivated thrusters in all the thrusters to make the flight attitude of the aerial vehicle stable. The flight controller controls the active thrusters to cause the aerial vehicle to land while maintaining the flight attitude of the aerial vehicle being stable.

Aerial vehicle

A motor unit, which drives a compressor unit, includes a stator, which generates a rotating magnetic field, and a rotor, which is rotated about a rotational axis by the rotating magnetic field at an inner side of the stator. A drive circuit unit is placed at the inner side of the stator such that a position of the drive circuit unit in a direction of the rotational axis overlaps with the stator.

Therefore, variation of working torque can be reduced.

Power transmission device

A scroll compressor having injection ports 70A and 70B opened to operating chambers Vc during a predetermined period of a complete compression cycle, so that a part of the refrigerant circulating in a refrigerating system is injected into the compression chambers from the injection ports. The injection ports are opened to an intermediate pressure chamber, which is at a pressure between the pressure of the refrigerant sucked into the compressor and the pressure of the refrigerant discharged from the compressor. The intermediate pressure chamber is arranged so as to eliminate pressure pulsations therein. Check valves 72A and 72B are provided in an end plate 54 of a stationary scroll member 50. Furthermore, relief valves may also be provided in the end plate for releasing the pressure of the operating chambers to a low pressure side of the refrigerating system.

Compressor having refrigerant injection ports

A method of control of a car air-conditioner which prevents condensation and fogging on window glass occurring at the initial start of a slow starting heat pump system, without dehumidification by a large amount of ventilation as in the past, by driving an absorbent fan simultaneously with the start of a heating operation by the system so as to remove the moisture from the air in the passenger compartment by a small amount of an absorbent, starting a low level of ventilation when the heat pump system has finished warming up, ending the dehumidification by the absorbent within a relatively short time, and starting the regeneration of the absorbent by supplying power to a heater.

Method of control for car air-conditioner

A torque fluctuation absorbing device for an engine constituted so that a rotation shaft of a torque absorber constituted so that torque fluctuations are generated by the force of a spring and pressure of fluid during rotation, is connected to a crank shaft of an engine using a rotation transmitting means which can maintain and transmit a constant synchronous relationship, such as a toothed pulley and a toothed belt, and the torque fluctuations of both of the engine and torque absorber are set to be opposite in phase to each other so as to offset the torque fluctuations of the engine.
