A power transmission control device acquires rotation speed information of an idle gear corresponding to a target engagement member and rotation speed information of a sleeve corresponding to an engagement member, sets one rotation speed changeable by a power source as a synchronization side rotation speed, sets the other rotation speed as a target synchronization side rotation speed, allows a differential rotation between the synchronization side rotation speed and the target synchronization side rotation speed to match a predetermined differential rotation by changing the synchronization side rotation speed using the power source after a power transmission releasing state is selected due to a gear changing request, performs an engagement operation, inverts a sign of the predetermined differential rotation, and switches to the power transmission state while allowing the differential rotation to match the predetermined differential rotation of which the sign is inverted.

Power transmission control device

A power transmission control device includes a first rotation shaft, a first power source to adjust rotation speed of the first rotation shaft, a second rotation shaft interlocked with an axle, a first switching mechanism to connect/disconnect switching between the first and second rotation shafts, a third rotation shaft, a second power source to adjust rotation speed of the third rotation shaft, and a second switching mechanism to connect/disconnect switching between the third rotation shaft and the second rotation shaft. At least one switching mechanism of the first switching mechanism and the second switching mechanism is a dog clutch type, and reliably and stably performs the connection switching thereof. A control stores information on a rotation phase of the first/third rotation shafts. At least one of the first/second switching mechanisms is held in a connected state, and the rotation phase is adjusted based on stored information at the connection switching.

A smart system locks a door of a vehicle when there is a user's instruction to lock the door when a first portable device in which first identification information is stored is outside the vehicle and a second portable device in which second identification information is stored is inside the vehicle, and controls the power supply state from a normal state to a power supply continuation state in which power continues to be supplied only to a predetermined power supply continuation device in the vehicle.

Smart entry system

A power transmission control device is used for a hybrid vehicle including an internal combustion engine and a motor (MG) as power sources, and includes a manual transmission and a friction clutch. A torque of the motor (MG torque) is generally adjusted to the smaller one (=MG torque final reference value) of an MG torque reference value determined based on an accelerator opening and an MG torque limit value determined based on a clutch return stroke. Based on satisfaction of a predetermined condition relating to a clutch pedal operation performed by a driver, the MG torque is intentionally adjusted to a value shifted from the MG torque final reference value in place of the MG torque final reference value. As a result, a driving force which is more appropriate or better meets a driver's intention can be obtained.

Power transmission control device for vehicle

This power transmission control device is applied to a hybrid vehicle, includes a manual transmission, a friction clutch, and a speed-reduction-ratio changeover mechanism. The speed-reduction-ratio changeover mechanism can change the speed reduction ratio of a second shaft connected to an output shaft of the manual transmission in relation to a first shaft connected to an output shaft of the vehicle motor. The speed reduction ratio of drive wheels to the output shaft of the vehicle motor is changed by changing the speed reduction ratio of the second shaft in relation to the first shaft. The operation for changing the speed reduction ratio is performed while a driver is operating a clutch pedal. Namely, while the driver is performing some operation, he or she receives a shock generated as a result of speed-reduction-ratio change operation. Accordingly, the driver becomes less likely to sense such a shock.

This power transmission control device is applied to a hybrid vehicle which includes an internal combustion engine and a motor (MG) as power sources. The power transmission control device includes a manual transmission and a friction clutch. When a clutch enters a completely disengaged state as a result of operation of a clutch pedal by a driver in a state where MG torque is adjusted to regeneration torque acting in a direction for decelerating the vehicle, the magnitude of the regeneration torque is decreased to 'minute value A which is greater than zero,' and then maintained at the minute value A. Much energy generated as a result of regeneration can be stored in a battery (see the area shown by dots) as compared with the case where the regeneration torque is adjusted to zero immediately after the clutch enters the completely disengaged state. Accordingly, energy efficiency (fuel efficiency) is improved.

Device for controlling power transmission of vehicle

A communication system for a vehicle includes: a plurality of controllers mounted on the vehicle; a data communication network for coupling the plurality of controllers with each other so that the controllers transmit data to and receive data from each other via the data communication network; a failure diagnosis device for diagnosing whether each controller is normal; a failure diagnosis activation device for activating the failure diagnosis device; and an avoiding condition setting device for setting an avoiding condition, which provides to avoid execution of the failure diagnosis when the failure diagnosis device is activated.

Communication system for vehicle

A route setting device, which can provide a route setting device which realize a suitable route setting for each vehicle by using vehicle side data in order to comply with a situation where travel of the vehicle is permitted or prohibited based on the vehicle side data. An ECU sets a destination route by considering the number of passengers as vehicle side data. When the number is only one, that is only driver, the ECU sets the destination route without including carpool lane. On the contrary, when the number is two or more than two, the ECU calculates the destination including the carpool lane. Since many carpool lanes have some advantages compared to the normal roads such that the carpool lane is closer to an exit or the travel distance itself is shorter. Therefore, it can be expected that destination route is set more adequately by including the carpool lane.
