A head portion protection airbag device includes: an airbag, formed into a folded body being folded such that a lower edge side in an unfolded state approaches an upper edge side, wrapped with an unfoldment preventing tape material and attached to the upper edge side of the window, assembled with a twisting restriction member, which is configured to prevent twisting of the folded body, on an upper edge side of the airbag, and attached to the upper edge side of the window as a bag attachment body. A plurality of attachment piece portions, which are attached to a body side of the vehicle, are arranged side by side on the upper edge side of the airbag. The bag attachment body is wrapped with the tape material in a state where the twisting restriction member is assembled to the upper edge side of the airbag in the folded body.

Head portion protection airbag device

An airbag includes a body and a redirecting cloth that is composed of a sheet material having flexibility and disposed inside the body. The redirecting cloth includes an inlet port for taking in an inflation gas; one or more outlet ports that release the inflation gas as flown from the inlet port towards predetermined regions of the body; and a sew region that sews first and second terminal edges of the sheet material together. Each of the first and second terminal edges of the sheet material includes a turned-and-sewn region that has been turned inward and sewn. At least a part of the sew region is formed by sewing terminals of the turned-and-sewn regions together.

Airbag

Ahead protection airbag device includes an airbag. The airbag includes: a hag main body; and an attachment member configured to attach the bag main body to a predetermined attachment part. The attachment member includes: an attachment substrate; a neck part protruding from the attachment substrate; and an engaging head part arranged with being bulged at a tip end of the neck part. The bag main body has an insertion hole in which the neck part is inserted so as to enable the engaging head part to protrude from an outer surface-side of a folded body of the bag main body. The attachment substrate is arranged at a backside of a peripheral edge of the insertion hole so that the attachment member is attached to the bag main body.

Head protection airbag device

A lower limb protecting air bag includes: a main body inflation part; an end side inflation part; a bending part configured to bend the end side inflation part to project backward from the main body inflation part in inflation completion; and a connecting element configured to connect together the end side inflation part and the main body inflation part so that the bent state of the end side inflation part in inflation completion is maintained, wherein: the main body inflation part and the end side inflation part are configured to inflate substantially in a plate shape to separate a front side wall disposed on the back side and a back side wall disposed on the front side when the air bag is developed flat; and the bending part includes a seam part formed by superimposing and connecting together the front side wall and the back side wall.

Lower limb protecting air bag

An airbag of an airbag device includes a connection port to be joined with an inflator and a flexible reinforcing sheet disposed inside the connection port. The reinforcing sheet includes a first cover region and a second cover region each of which wraps the leading end of the inflator and has an opening for providing gas communication with a main body of the airbag. The first cover region has a double-folded configuration that is doubled on a crease which crosses an axial direction of the inflator while the second cover region has a double-folded configuration that is doubled on a crease extending in parallel to the axial direction of the inflator. The first cover region and second cover region are arranged in such an overlapped fashion that the crease of the first cover region continues to the crease of the second cover region.
