A screw-tightening tool includes a housing, a motor, a spindle, a first clutch and a second clutch. The first clutch is operably coupled to an output shaft and the spindle, and is configured to transmit power from the output shaft to the spindle only when the output shaft is rotationally driven in a first direction. The second clutch is operably coupled to the output shaft and the spindle, and is configured to transmit the power from the output shaft to the spindle only when the output shaft is rotationally driven in a second direction. An output rotation speed of the spindle when the power is transmitted via the first clutch is different from an output rotation speed of the spindle when the power is transmitted via the second clutch, in response to the same rotation speed of the output shaft of the motor.

Screw-tightening tool

A screw-tightening tool includes a housing, a spindle, a motor, and a power-transmitting mechanism including a sun member, a ring member, a carrier member and a planetary roller. The power-transmitting mechanism is configured such that, when the ring member moves rearward to be closer to the sun member in response to rearward movement of the spindle, the planetary roller transmits power of the motor to the spindle owing to frictional force between the planetary roller and each of a first tapered surface of the sun member and a second tapered surface of the ring member. The sun member is configured to move from a first position to a second position, which is forward of the first position, when the frictional force reaches a threshold, and to move from the second position to the first position when the frictional force falls below the threshold.

A power tool includes a motor and a gear speed reducer. The motor has a motor shaft that is rotatable in a normal direction and in a reverse direction. The gear speed reducer is operably coupled to the motor shaft. The gear speed reducer is configured such that a reduction ratio of the gear speed reducer is changed in response to a change of a rotation direction of the motor shaft.

Power tool

A work tool includes a housing, a spindle, a motor, a power-transmitting mechanism and a restricting member. The power-transmitting mechanism includes a sun member, a ring member, a carrier member and a planetary roller. One of the sun member and the ring member is configured to move together with the spindle in the front-rear direction relative to the other of the sun member and the ring member. The power-transmitting mechanism is configured to transmit power of the motor to the spindle when the sun member and the ring member relatively move toward each other in response to rearward movement of the spindle and the planetary roller gets into frictional contact with the sun member and the ring member. The restricting member is configured to restrict the planetary roller from moving in the front-rear direction relative to the housing.

Work tool

A work tool includes a motor, a tool-mounting part, a rotary shaft, a rotating member, a switch, an operation member and a lock mechanism. The rotating member is held rotatably around a rotation axis of the rotary shaft and configured to transmit torque to and from the rotary shaft while being allowed to rotate relative to the rotary shaft. The rotating member is configured to rotate together with the rotary shaft by action of transmitting the torque when the operation member is moved from the OFF position to the ON position and the lock mechanism allows the rotating member to rotate, and configured to apply a braking force to the rotary shaft by action of transmitting the torque when the operation member is moved from the ON position to the OFF position and the lock mechanism non-rotatably locks the rotating member.

A fastening tool includes a motor, a fastening mechanism, a tool body and a main handle. The motor includes a motor body and a motor shaft. The fastening mechanism is configured to fasten workpieces via a fastener by pulling a pin of the fastener rearward relative to a tubular part of the fastener along a driving axis defining a front-rear direction of the fastening tool. The tool body houses the motor and the fastening mechanism. The main handle extends in a direction crossing the driving axis and connected to the tool body such that the main handle and the tool body together form an annular part. A rotational axis of the motor shaft extends parallel to the driving axis. A portion of the main handle is located in a rear space extending behind the motor body.

Fastening tool

A work tool includes a housing, a spindle, a clamp shaft, a biasing member, an operation member, a motion-converting mechanism and a pushing-down member. The spindle is supported to be rotatable around a driving axis. The clamp shaft is movable in the up-down direction relative to the spindle. The biasing member is configured to bias the clamp shaft upward relative to the spindle so as to apply to the clamp shaft a clamping force for clamping a tool accessory between a head part of the clamp shaft and a lower end portion of the spindle. The motion-converting mechanism is configured to move the pushing-down member in the up-down direction along with turning of the operation member around the driving axis. The pushing-down member is configured to be moved downward so as to push the tool accessory downward when the operation member is turned in a first direction.

A fastening tool includes a housing, a handle, an anvil, a pin-gripping part, a motor, and a driving mechanism. The driving mechanism is configured to move the pin-gripping part along a first axis defining a front-rear direction, relative to the anvil. The driving mechanism includes a rotary member, a movable member, a driving gear and an idler gear. The rotary member has a driven gear formed on its outer periphery and is rotatable around the first axis. The movable member is connected to the pin-gripping part and configured to be linearly moved in the front-rear direction by rotation of the rotary member. The driving gear is configured to be rotated around a second axis extending in parallel to the first axis below the first axis. The idler gear is engaged with the driving gear and the driven gear.

A fastening tool includes a tool body, an anvil, a pin-gripping part, a motor, a rotation member, a moving member, a gear part and a receiving member. The rotation member is configured to be rotationally driven around the driving axis. The moving member is coupled to the pin-gripping part and engaged with the rotation member. The moving member is configured to move along a driving axis defining a front-rear direction, in response to rotational driving of the rotation member. The gear part is shaped like a flange projecting radially outward from an outer peripheral surface of the rotation member, and has gear teeth on an outer circumference thereof. The receiving member is disposed rearward of the gear part and configured to receive, via a rear surface of the gear part, a rearward reaction force applied to the rotation member when the pin-gripping part moves frontward.

A fastening tool includes a bolt-gripping part, an anvil, a bolt-gripping-part driving mechanism, a motor, a housing, and thrust rolling bearings. The bolt-gripping-part driving mechanism includes a first mechanism part supported by the housing and a second mechanism part connected to the bolt-gripping part. The second mechanism part is configured to be driven in a longitudinal-axis direction by the first mechanism part being rotationally driven, so that the bolt-gripping part is moved in the longitudinal-axis direction relative to the anvil. The thrust rolling bearings are disposed on a first direction side and a second direction side of the first mechanism part, respectively.

A fastening tool includes a housing, a fastener-abutment part, a pin-gripping part, a motor, a driving mechanism and a handle. The housing extends in a front-rear direction along a driving axis. The driving mechanism is configured to move the pin-gripping part rearward along the driving axis relative to the fastener-abutment part. The driving mechanism includes a rotary member and a movable member configured to linearly move in the front-rear direction when the rotary member is rotationally driven. The handle protrudes downward from the housing and has a trigger. A rotation axis of a motor shaft extends in parallel to the driving axis on a lower side of the driving axis. A virtual plane including the driving axis and the rotation axis passes a center of the handle in a left-right direction. The trigger is disposed between the rotary member and a motor body in the front-rear direction.

A fastening tool includes a housing, a fastener-abutment part, a pin-gripping part held within the fastener-abutment part to be movable in a front-rear direction relative to the fastener-abutment part, a detection-target part provided to move together with the pin-gripping part, a detection device configured to detect the detection-target part, a motor, and a driving mechanism configured to move the pin-gripping part rearward from an initial position relative to the fastener-abutment part. The driving mechanism is further configured to move the pin-gripping part forward relative to the fastener-abutment part so as to return the pin-gripping part to the initial position based on a detection result of the detection device. The fastening tool is configured such that a first moving distance is adjustable, the first moving distance being a distance by which the pin-gripping part is moved from a detection position to the initial position.

A fastening tool includes a fastener-abutment part, a pin-gripping part, a motor, a driving mechanism, an input-accepting part and a motor-control part. The fastener-abutment part is configured to abut on a cylindrical part of a fastener. The pin-gripping part is configured to grip a portion of a pin of the fastener. The driving mechanism is configured to be driven by power of the motor to move the pin-gripping part rearward along a driving axis relative to the fastener-abutment part, thereby fastening a workpiece via the fastener. The input-accepting part is configured to accept setting information for a control condition of the motor inputted via an operation part configured to be externally operated by a user. The motor-control part is configured to control operation of the driving mechanism by controlling driving of the motor according to the control condition based on the setting information accepted by the input-accepting part.

A fastening tool includes a bolt-gripping part, an anvil, a motor, and a control part. When the bolt-gripping part grips an end region of a shaft part and moves relative to the anvil in a first direction of a longitudinal-axis direction, the anvil presses a collar fitted onto the shaft part in a second direction opposite to the first direction of the longitudinal-axis direction and inward in a radial direction of the collar, so that a hollow part of the collar is crimped to a groove while the workpiece is clamped between the collar and a head part, whereby swaging of a fastener is completed while the end region remains integrated with the shaft part. The control part completes swaging of the fastener by terminating a movement of the bolt-gripping part in the first direction relative to the anvil based on driving current of the motor.

A fastening tool configured to fasten a workpiece via a multi-piece swage type fastener including a pin and a collar includes an anvil, a pin-gripping part, a driving mechanism, an electric motor, a control part and a housing. The driving mechanism is configured to move the pin-gripping part relative to the anvil in a first direction along an axis so as to cause the anvil to press the collar engaged with a shaft part of the pin in a second direction and in a radially inward direction. An operation mode of the driving mechanism can be selectively switched between a plurality of operation modes including a first mode, in which a process of fastening the workpiece is completed based on a state of the fastener, and a second mode, in which the process of fastening the workpiece is completed based on a driving state of the motor.
