An optical filter, including a first absorption layer containing a near-infrared absorbing dye and a transparent resin. The optical filter also includes a reflection layer. The first absorption layer has a thickness of 0.3 μm to 10 μm. The optical filter satisfies conditions described in the disclosure. An imaging apparatus including the optical filter.

Optical filter and imaging device

An optical filter includes: an absorption layer including a first near-infrared absorbing dye (D1), a second near-infrared absorbing dye (D2), and a transparent resin; and a reflection layer including a dielectric multilayer film. The dye (D1) and the dye (D2) are squarylium compounds satisfying following (1) to (3). (1) The dye (D1) has a maximum absorption wavelength λwithin a range of 680 to 730 nm, and the difference between a wavelength at which a transmittance is 80% on the shorter wavelength side than λwhen the concentration is adjusted such that a transmittance at λis 10%, and λis 100 nm or less. (2) The dye (D2) has a maximum absorption wavelength λwithin a range of 720 to 770 nm. (3) A value obtained by subtracting λfrom λis 30 nm or more and 85 nm or less.

The present invention relates to an optical filter containing: an absorption layer containing a near-infrared absorbing dye (A) having a maximum absorption wavelength in dichloromethane being in a wavelength range of 850 to 1,100 nm and a transparent resin; and a reflection layer formed of a dielectric multilayer film, in which the near-infrared absorbing dye (A) satisfies the following Formulae (1) to (4).ABS/ABS<0.10  (1),ABS/ABS<0.04  (2),ABS/ABS<0.15  (3), andABS/ABS<0.10  (4).

The present invention relates to an optical filter containing: an absorption layer containing a near-infrared absorbing dye satisfying the following (i-1) to (i-5), and a transparent resin; and a reflection layer, and satisfying the following (ii-1);

An optical filter includes an absorption layer which increases a visible light transmittance while having a good near-infrared blocking characteristic, and which is excellent in not only adhesiveness with respect to a layer to be abutted, but also light resistance. The optical filter includes: an absorption layer containing a near-infrared absorbing dye containing a squarylium-based dye and a transparent resin; and an inorganic or organic material in contact with the absorption layer. The squarylium-based dye has a squarylium skeleton and condensed ring structures bonded thereto respectively on both sides thereof, the condensed ring structures each including a benzene ring and a nitrogen atom as an annular atom, each benzene ring having an urethane structure in the second position.

To provide an optical filter having shielding effects against near ultraviolet rays and near infrared rays. Optical filter

There is provide an optical filter suppressed in incidence angle dependence and having high visible light transmittance. The optical filter includes: an absorption layer containing a first near-infrared absorbent (DA) having a maximum absorption wavelength &#x3bb;(DA_T) in wavelengths of 685 to 715 nm and a second near-infrared absorbent (DB) having a maximum absorption wavelength &#x3bb;(DB_T) in wavelengths of 705 to 725 nm or wavelengths of more than 725 nm and 900 nm or less on a side of a wavelength longer than the maximum absorption wavelength &#x3bb;(DA_T), and satisfying specific light absorption characteristics; and a reflection layer including a dielectric multilayer film satisfying specific reflection characteristics in wavelengths of 700 to 1150 nm, wherein a transmittance of the reflection layer in a boundary region of visible light and near-infrared light and a transmittance of the absorption layer have a specific relation.

An optical filter includes an absorption layer containing a near-infrared absorbing dye with an absorption characteristic in dichloromethane satisfying (i-1) to (i-3). (i-1) In an absorption spectrum of a wavelength of 400 to 800 nm, there is a maximum absorption wavelength &#x3bb;in 670 to 730 nm. (i-2) Between a maximum absorption coefficient &#x3b5;of light with a wavelength of 430 to 550 nm and a maximum absorption coefficient &#x3b5;of light with a wavelength of 670 to 730 nm, the following relational expression: &#x3b5;/&#x3b5;&#x2265;65 is established. (i-3) In a spectral transmittance curve, the difference between a wavelength &#x3bb;with which the transmittance becomes 80% on a shorter wavelength side than the maximum absorption wavelength with the transmittance at the maximum absorption wavelength &#x3bb;set to 10% and the maximum absorption wavelength &#x3bb;is 65 nm or less.

Squarylium-based dye for near-infrared optical filter

A light selective transmission type glassaccording to the present invention includes: a glass substrate; and a light selective transmission layerprovided on at least one main surface of the glass substrate. The glass substratehas an average thermal expansion coefficient &#x3b1;at 50&#xb0; C. to 100&#xb0; C. of 2.70 ppm/&#xb0; C. to 3.20 ppm/&#xb0; C., an average thermal expansion coefficient &#x3b1;at 200&#xb0; C. to 300&#xb0; C. of 3.45 ppm/&#xb0; C. to 3.95 ppm/&#xb0; C., a value &#x3b1;/&#x3b1;obtained by dividing the average thermal expansion coefficient &#x3b1;at 200&#xb0; C. to 300&#xb0; C. by the average thermal expansion coefficient &#x3b1;at 50&#xb0; C. to 100&#xb0; C. of 1.20 to 1.30, and a content of an alkali metal oxide being 0% to 0.1%.

Light selective transmission type glass and laminated substrate

An optical filter whose transmitting characteristics for visible light are favorably maintained and at the same time, whose blocking characteristics for near-infrared light, in particular, with a large incident angle deteriorates less. The optical filter includes an absorption layer and a reflection layer, and satisfies the requirements: in a spectral transmittance curve for a 0&#xb0; incident angle, an average transmittance for 430 to 620 nm wavelength light is 65% or more, and a wavelength exhibiting a 50% transmittance is in a 600 to 700 nm wavelength; in a 615 to 725 nm wavelength, an average value of absolute values of differences in transmittance between the spectral transmittance curve for the 0&#xb0; incident angle and 30&#xb0; incident angle is 8%/nm or less; and in a spectral transmittance curve for a 60&#xb0; incident angle, the maximum transmittance for 730 to 1000 nm wavelength light is 15% or less.

Near-infrared light blocking optical filter having high visible light transmission and an imaging device using the optical filter

There is provided a near-infrared cut filter which has a visible light transmitting property and a near-infrared shielding property both at high levels by that its transmission spectrum has a steep inclination in the vicinity of the boundary between the visible light and the near-infrared, and which can also be sufficiently reduced in size and thickness. The near-infrared cut filter has a near-infrared absorbing layer which contains a near-infrared absorbing dye containing at least one dye in which a condensed ring structure containing at least a benzene ring and a ring having nitrogen atom is bonded to both sides of a squarylium skeleton and which have a carboxylic acid amide structure at a second position of the benzene ring (where the carboxylic acid has a substituent having 5 to 25 having one or more branches), and a transparent resin with a refractive index of 1.45 or more.

Near-infrared cut filter

Provided is an optical filter, which includes a light-absorbing layer and a light-reflecting layer and satisfies the following requirements: (i) in a spectral transmittance curve at an incident angle of 0&#xb0;, an average transmittance over the 430-620 nm wavelength range is &#x2265;80%, an average transmittance over the 430-450 nm wavelength range is &#x2265;76%, an average transmittance over the 735-1100 nm wavelength range is &#x2264;5%, and an average transmittance over the 350-395 nm wavelength is &#x2264;5%; and (ii) there is a wavelength &#x3bb;(UV) with transmittance of 50% in the 400-425 nm wavelength range in the spectral transmittance curve at the incident angle of 0&#xb0;, there is a wavelength &#x3bb;(UV) with transmittance of 50% in the 400-425 nm wavelength range in a spectral transmittance curve at an incident angle of 30&#xb0;, and an absolute value of a difference between the wavelengths, |&#x3bb;(UV)&#x2212;&#x3bb;(UV),| is &#x2264;5 nm.
