Provided are a base station device and a mobile station device, which can lighten a cell-search processing. The base station device includes a frame constitution unit for forming a frame, in which a pilot symbol multiplied by a base station scrambling code and a plurality of sequences contained in the corresponding sequence set is arranged in at least the head or tail, and a radio transmission unit for sending the formed frame. On the receiving side, the frame timing can be detected from the position of a pilot symbol contained in that frame. Since the base station scrambling code and the sequence set containing the sequences are made to correspond to each other, candidates can be narrowed to at most the base station scrambling codes of the number of the combinations of the sequences contained in the sequence set, by detecting the sequences multiplied by the pilot symbol.

Base station device, and mobile station device

A communication device which can reduce amount of control information, limit interference with other traffics, and prevent an increase in current consumption. In this device, a separation unit separates radio resource allocation information, specific section information and transmission parameter information from a received signal. A specific section information control unit selects a sub-carrier designated by the specific section information to allocate data to be transmitted to the own unit. A channel quality measuring unit uses a pilot signal to measure the channel quality of the selected sub-carrier. A channel quality information creating unit creates channel quality information indicating the measurement results input from the channel quality measuring unit. A multiplexing unit multiplexes the transmission signal with the channel quality information.

Transmitting apparatus and method

A base station, a mobile station and a retransmission control method for enabling communication to be more efficiently performed. In a communication system comprising a base station () and a mobile station (), a time period required for the retransmission of a transport packet to complete is determined, and a retransmission control is performed, based on the required time period, to change the order of executing the retransmission of the transport packet and a handover. In this way, when it is estimated that the retransmission will complete soon, the retransmission is caused to complete in a handover source system, thereby avoiding waste of communication resources used in the preceding transmission and retransmission processes. When it is estimated that the retransmission will continue for a while, the communication resources used in the preceding transmission and retransmission processes are wasted, but a more appropriate MCS can be assigned, in a handover destination system, so as to perform a retransmission, thereby enabling communication to be efficiently performed.

Retransmission control method, base station and mobile station

There is provided a mobile station device capable of reducing processing of cell search. In this device, an FFT timing detection unit () detects a symbol timing and a frame timing detection unit () detects a frame timing by using the frame timing detection symbol. After a frame timing is detected, a code group detection unit () detects a code group and a scrambling code identification unit () identifies a scrambling code. That is, the frame timing detection process is separated from the code group detection process and after detecting the frame timing, a symbol timing multiplied by the code group sequence is identified so that the code group is detected only at the symbol timing.

Communication device and scheduling method

It is possible to surely improve the throughput in a handover area in the MIMO communication and increase the cell coverage. Channel estimation units (--) perform a channel estimation by using a common pilot signal transmitted from each base station device and acquire a channel matrix for each cell. Singular value decomposition processing units (--) perform singular value decomposition processing by using a channel matrix corresponding to each cell. Channel capacity calculation units (--) compare a singular value for each path to a threshold value and calculate the number of singular values above a predetermined threshold value as the channel capacity. A cell selection unit () compares the channel capacity sizes and selects a base station device corresponding to a greater channel capacity.
