An opening-closing member controller includes a control unit that executes an initialization process to store at least a fully closed position of an opening-closing member. In the initialization process, the control unit closes the opening-closing member, executes entrapment reversing control one or more times when entrapment is detected to open the opening-closing member, and closes the opening-closing member after the entrapment reversing control to store a position where the opening-closing member locks as the fully closed position.

Opening-closing member control device and initialization method

An opening-closing member control device includes a motor that opens and closes an opening-closing member of a vehicle, and a control unit configured to stop the motor when determining that a foreign object has been entrapped by the opening-closing member and reverse the motor when a delay time elapses after stopping the motor. When the control unit determines that entrapment has occurred upon operation of a remote operation switch that is separated from the vehicle, the control unit reverses the motor after the delay time that is shorter than when determining that entrapment has occurred upon operation of a vehicle operation switch that is arranged in the vehicle.

Opening/closing member control device

An open-close body controller includes a motor, movement interference determination unit, and disturbance determination unit. Motor is configured to open and close an open-close body of vehicle. Movement interference determination unit is configured to detect whether characteristic value of motor, which is varied in accordance with change in load applied to open-close body when moving, is in movement interference range or non-movement interference range bordering threshold value and determine that movement of open-close body has been interfered with by foreign object when characteristic value is in movement interference range. Disturbance determination unit is configured to determine whether motor is subject to effect of disturbance. Movement interference determination unit is configured to correct threshold value to narrow movement interference range based on varied amount of rotation amount of motor that corresponds to movement distance of open-close body when disturbance determination unit determines motor is subject to effect of disturbance.

Open-close body controller and motor

An opening/closing member driving device includes a motor that opens and closes an opening/closing member and a controller configured to perform an abnormality determination process and a masking process. The abnormality determination process determines occurrence of a foreign object being entrapped or caught by comparing driving information corresponding to a driving status of the motor to a predetermined threshold value. The masking process invalidates the abnormality determination process over a predetermined masking period when the motor is activated. The controller includes a correction unit. The correction unit corrects at least one of the masking period or the threshold value when the motor is activated in a direction opposite to that of a preceding operation in a state in which the opening/closing member is in a high-load range.

Opening/closing member driving device

In a power window apparatus, when a controller determines that a captured foreign object, which is captured between a window glass and a window frame of a door, is present, the controller executes an interrupting process that interrupts a current operation of a drive mechanism. The controller does not determine whether the captured foreign object is present in an initial mask period that is a time period from a time point of starting rotation of the electric motor to a time point, at which a rotational speed of the electric motor reaches a stable state. The initial mask period is variable based on an operational load of the electric motor.

Openable and closable member control apparatus

A vehicle window opening device includes a controlling portion, which controls opening/closing operation of a vehicle window based on drive force of a drive portion, a manipulation portion, which outputs a command signal in response to manipulation, and a catching detecting portion, which detects catching of a foreign object by the vehicle window based on a characteristic value of the drive portion that fluctuates in accordance with fluctuation in load acting on the vehicle window during an opening operation. The control portion is configured to control the opening operation, the closing operation, or both the opening and closing operations of the vehicle window based on manipulation of the manipulation portion after detection of catching by the catching detecting portion.

Vehicle window opening device

An air conditioner is made to follow up a change in load in an efficient manner by utilizing the fact that the components of a three-component mixed medium serving as a substitute for Freon have different boiling points. The mixed medium, which consists of R-32, R-125 and R-134a, is sealed within the circuit of the air conditioner, and a supercooled heat exchanger and liquid-gas tank are interposed between an outdoor heat exchanger and an expansion valve. The liquid-gas tank is connected to an accumulator via a liquid injection valve.
