A support unit is configured to support a medium that is imaged by an imaging device and on which printing is performed by a printing apparatus in accordance with a result of the imaging. The support unit includes a table unit including a support region that supports the medium and a non-support region that does not support the medium, and a sandwiching unit having a portion with light transmissivity and being configured to sandwich the medium with the table unit. The non-support region is provided with a plurality of marks recognizable by the imaging device.

A recording device includes a recording unit capable of performing recording on a medium, a transporting belt capable of transporting the medium, and a first contact portion and a second contact portion that contact the transporting belt, and are inclined in mutually different directions with respect to a movement direction of the transporting belt, wherein when a direction orthogonal to the movement direction and along the transporting belt is an orthogonal direction, a range, in which the first contact portion and the second contact portion are provided, in the orthogonal direction is wider than a width dimension of the transporting belt in the orthogonal direction, and an interval between the first contact portion and the second contact portion in the orthogonal direction increases in the movement direction.

A printing apparatus includes a platen including a first guide rail and a second guide rail mutually parallel in a width direction that intersects a transport direction of a medium; an edge holder including a plate-shaped member that covers an end portion of the medium in the width direction, a first engaging portion that engages with the first guide rail, and a second engaging portion that engages with the second guide rail; and a changing portion that is provided on the first engaging portion side and is for changing a position of the plate-shaped member in the width direction. The first and the second driven roller have a through hole into which the roller shaft is inserted and an inner diameter in a roller center portion is smaller than an inner diameter of a roller end portion in the shaft line direction. The roller shaft is supported so as to be swingable with the shaft support portion as a support point.
