A thermosensitive recording material including a support, a thermosensitive recording layer composed mainly of a leuco dye and a developer, provided on one surface of the support, and a back layer provided on the other surface of the support, wherein the back layer contains an isobutylene-maleic anhydride copolymer ammonium salt, and at least one of an aziridine compound, and a cross-linked product of the isobutylene-maleic anhydride copolymer ammonium salt and the aziridine compound.

Thermosensitive recording material

The present invention provides a thermosensitive recording medium including a white plastic support, a thermosensitive recording layer containing a binder resin as a binding agent, a colorless or pale color leuco dye and a color developer for heat-developing the leuco dye, a protective layer, and a back layer containing an electron-conductive needle filler and an ion-conductive polymer, wherein the thermosensitive recording layer is disposed on the white plastic support, the protective layer is disposed on the thermosensitive recording layer, and the back layer is disposed on a side of the white plastic support opposite to the side where the thermosensitive recording layer is disposed.

Thermosensitive recording medium and recording method

To provide a thermosensitive recording material that is superior in uniformity, makes it possible to obtain images with high glossiness and has less curl, in which a synthetic paper having a multilayer structure serves as a support. Specifically, there is a thermosensitive recording material including: a support, and a thermosensitive recording layer containing a leuco dye and a color developer on the support, wherein the support is a synthetic paper having a multilayer structure, and an inorganic pigment is contained only in a base layer of the synthetic paper; also, two layers which are formed solely of polypropylene and which contain no inorganic pigment are laid one on top of the other on the base layer containing an inorganic pigment; further, all layers are biaxially stretched.

Thermosensitive recording material and recording method using the same

An image transfer type thermosensitive recording medium comprising a substrate and a double-layered thermal transfer ink layer formed thereon, which comprisees (i) a first layer formed on the substrate, comprising a thermofusible material and an oil component, which first layer melts to become a liquid having a low viscosity when heated to a predetermined temperature, the oil component comprising as the main components hydrocarbon of methane series and cycloparaffin, and having a viscosity of 100 cst or less at 40.degree. C. and a viscosity of 20 cst or less at 100.degree. C., and (ii) a second layer formed on the first layer, comprising a thermosoftening resin and a coloring agent, which second layer becomes soft, without being melted at the predetermined temperature or higher.
