It is an object of the present invention to provide a cellulose-containing composition having excellent coating suitability, a production method thereof, and a film. According to the present invention, provided is a cellulose-containing composition comprising cellulose fibers having a fiber width of 1000 nm or less and protein, wherein the protein includes an enzyme, the content of the protein is 1&#xd7;10parts by mass or less with respect to 1 part by mass of the cellulose fibers, and when the cellulose-containing composition having a solid concentration of 0.4% by mass is obtained, the viscosity of the cellulose-containing composition measured under conditions of 25&#xb0; C. and a rotation number of 3 rpm is 10 mPa&#xb7;s or more and 11000 mPa&#xb7;s or less.

Cellulose fiber-containing composition, production method thereof, and film

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a composite sheet in which the dimension stability when it is tensed is high and the appearance deterioration and the yellowness change are suppressed. The present invention relates to a sheet comprising; cellulose fibers having a fiber width of 1000 nm or less and having a phosphoric acid group or a phosphoric acid group-derived substituent; and a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin, wherein the sheet has a tensile elastic modulus of 3.4 GPa or more.

An object of the present invention is to provide a laminate having a fiber layer comprising ultrafine cellulose fibers and a resin layer, wherein the two layers have more excellent adhesion properties. It is an object of the present invention to provide a composite sheet, which achieves all of water repellency, water resistance, transparency and mechanical strength. The present invention relates to a sheet having a fiber layer and a coating layer on the fiber layer, wherein the fiber layer comprises ultrafine cellulose fibers having a fiber width of 1000 nm or less in an amount of 60% by mass or more, the haze of the sheet is 20% or less, and the water contact angle of the surface of the sheet on the side of the coating layer which is measured 30 seconds after completion of the dropping of distilled water is 70 degrees or more.

An ink jet recording material having excellent gloss and capable of recording thereon clear ink images having a high color density includes a multi-layered ink fixing layer, formed on a substrate material and composed of an outermost ink fixing layer, and one or more intermediate ink fixing layers superposed on each other, and each includes a binder and a pigment selected from silica, aluminosilicate, alumina and zeolite, the pigment in each ink fixing layer being in the form of fine secondary particles having an average secondary particles size of 1 &mgr;m or less and each secondary particle is composed of a plurality of primary particles agglomerated with each other, and the outermost ink fixing layer being one formed by a cast-coating procedure using a specular casting surface.

Ink jet recording material and process for producing same

An ink jet recording sheet having a high gloss and ink absorbing property and capable of recording clear ink images having a high and uniform color density, includes a cast-coated ink-receiving layer formed on a substrate sheet and containing fine silica particles with an average primary particle size of 3 to 40 nm and an average secondary particle size of 10 to 400 nm and a binder.
