A gear side feeding terminal (U,V,W) connected to a motor side feeding terminal (U,V,W) provided to the end portion of a stator () in the axial direction of the stator () from the axial direction of a rotor () is provided on a control board () for controlling the rotor (), housed in a gear case () so as to be stacked on a speed reduction mechanism (SD) from the direction crossing the axial direction of the rotor (). In this manner, the wiper motor is composed of a brushless wiper motor (), and it is unnecessary to provide the gear side feeding terminal (U,V,W) so as to avoid the control board (). Accordingly, it is possible to prevent electric noises, and provide a wiper motor reduced in size and weight, and since it is unnecessary to form a clearance in the control board (), it is possible to provide a wiper motor further improved in degree of freedom for designing the control board ().

Brushless wiper motor and method for assembling the same

In a brushless wiper motor, a rotor () is rotatably provided inside a stator () provided with a coil (), one end side of a rotation shaft () in the axial direction is fixed to the axial center of the rotor (), a worm () is provided on the other end side of the rotation shaft () in the axial direction, the first and second bearings () are respectively provided on one end side of the rotation shaft () in the axial direction and the other end side of the rotation shaft () in the axial direction than the worm () of the rotation shaft (), the rotation shaft () is rotatably supported by only the first and second bearings (), and with the position of the first bearing () being defined as a reference position, a length thereof in the axial direction to the second bearing () is longer than a length thereof in the axial direction to the rotor (). Since a commutator and other parts are not provided on a free end side of the rotation shaft (), it is possible to provide a brushless wiper motor reduced in length of the rotation shaft (), and reduced in inertial mass of the free end side of the rotation shaft ().

Brushless wiper motor

A wiper system according to the present invention includes wiper blades () that perform a reciprocating wiping operation on a windshield (), and a raindrop sensor () that detects the current amount of rainfall based on water droplets adhering to the windshield (). If rainfall more than or equal to a predetermined amount is detected by the raindrop sensor (), a heavy rain mode in which a wiping range of the wiper blades () is made narrower than in a normal wiping operation is carried out. In the heavy rain mode, the wiper blade () arranged on the driver's side is activated at high speed (Hi) within a heavy rain time wiping area X set near the forward field of view of the driver to ensure the field of view of the driver.

Wiper system control method and wiper system control device

A motor case () in which a stationary portion () is fixed, and a gear case () in which a gear mechanism (SD) is accommodated are made of aluminium, most heat generated from the stationary portion () at the time of actuation of a brushless wiper motor () can be directly dissipated outside from the motor case (). That is, compared with conventional technique, heat transmitted to the motor case () can be efficiently dissipated outside, and the motor case () does not reach high temperature. Therefore, as a matter of course, reduction in size and weight can be achieved, suppression of electromagnetic noise can be achieved, and heat-resistance strength can be enhanced. Expensive components capable of resisting high temperatures are not required, and reduction in manufacturing cost can be achieved.

The invention relates to a pump motor for a vehicle, wherein when integrally forming the housing of a motor pump, in which the pump accommodating portion is made larger in diameter than the motor accommodating portion, by using metal dies, ventilation holes that communicate from the base end side of the housing to the motor accommodating portion are formed without making the motor accommodating portion of the housing larger in diameter, wherein projections are formed so as to be continuous to the base end side at the portion opposed to the pump accommodating portion on the outer circumferential surface of the housing, and the ventilation holes are formed to incline inwardly so that they reach from the base end side of the projections to the inside of the motor accommodating portion.
