A polyazo compound of the following formula, ##STR1## wherein F is a bisazo or trisazo dye moiety, R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are independently of one another are each hydrogen or alkyl, B.sub.1 and B.sub.2 independently of one another are each phenylene or naphthylene, Y.sub.1 and Y.sub.2 independently of one another are each --CH.dbd.CH.sub.2 or --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 L in which L is group capable of being split by the action of an alkali. The compound is useful for dyeing or printing fiber materials to give dyed or printed products with superior dye performance such as build-up property.

A dioxazine compound represented by the following formula in a free acid form, ##STR1## wherein R is halogeno, alkyl, alkoxy or sulfo, and W is ##STR2## wherein V is a direct linkage or ##STR3## in which R.sub.3 is hydrogen or alkyl, X is a direct linkage or an aliphatic, alicyclic, araliphatic or aromatic bridging group, Y is unsubstituted or substituted phenylene or naphthylene, Z is --SO.sub.2 CH.dbd.CH.sub.2, --SO.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 OSO.sub.3 H or the like, Q is sulfo, hydroxy, halogeno, alkoxy, phenoxy or amino, and R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently of one another are each hydrogen or alkyl, which is useful for dyeing or printing fiber materials with advantages to give dyed or printed materials superior in fastness properties such as chlorine fastness.

A monoazo compound, or a salt thereof, represented by the formula, ##STR1## wherein D is a sulfophenyl group substituted with a methyl, ethyl, methoxy, ethoxy, phenoxy, acetylamino, pripionylamino, benzoylamino, carboxybenzoylamino, maleinylamino or succinylamino group, a naphthyl group substituted with two or three sulfo groups of a group of the formula ##STR2## any one of X.sub.1 or X.sub.2 is a sulfo group and the other is a methoxy or ethoxy group, Y is a fluorine or chlorine atom or an arylamino group substituted with one or two sulfo groups, R is a hydrogen atom or an unsubstituted or substituted lower alkyl group, A is an unsubstituted or substitued phenylene or naphthylene group, and Z is --SO.sub.2 CH.dbd.CH.sub.2 or --SO.sub.2 CH.sub..sub.2 CH.sub.2 Z.sub.1 in which Z.sub.1 is a group capable of being split by the action of an alkali, which is useful as a fiber-reactive dye for dyeing materials in a greenish yellow color excellent in various fastness properties.

A dioxazine compound of the formula, ##STR1## wherein A is a divalent group of the formula, ##STR2## in which * and ** denote linkages to the adjacent nitrogen and oxygen atoms, respectively, or the divalent group-containing 3- to 5-condensed aromatic ring residue, R is a substituent such as amino, cyano, nitro, halogeno and the like, V is --SO.sub.2 NR.sub.5 - or the like in which R.sub.5 is hydrogen or the like, X is aliphatic, alicyclic, araliphatic or aromatic divalent group, Y is phenylene or naphthylene, Z is --SO.sub.2 CH.dbd.CH.sub.2 or --SO.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 Z.sub.1 in which Z.sub.1 is a splittable group, Q is halogeno, amino or the like, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each hydrogen or alkyl, and O&lt;l+m+n.ltoreq.6, provided that O.ltoreq.l.ltoreq.4, O.ltoreq.m&lt;5 and O&lt;n.ltoreq.4, which is useful for dyeing or printing hydroxyl or amide group-containing materials to give dyed or printed products of excellent fastness properties with good dye performances such as dyeing velocity, level dyeing property and build-up property.

Dioxazine compound having vinylsulfone type fiber reactive group

A dioxazine compound represented by the following formula (I) in the free acid form, ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen, halogeno, alkyl, alkoxy or sulfo, V is a direct linkage or ##STR2## in which R.sub.4 is hydrogen or alkyl, X is a direct linkage or an aliphatic, araliphaatic or aromatic bridging group, B.sub.1 and B.sub.2 independently of one another are each phenylene or naphthylene, Y.sub.1 and Y.sub.2 independently of one another are each --CH.dbd.CH.sub.2 or --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 Z in which Z is a group splittable by the action of an alkali, and R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 independently of one another are each hydrogen or alkyl, which is useful for dyeing or printing fiber materials such as cellulose fiber materials to give dyed or printed products of a deep blue color superior in fastness properties.

Fiber reactive dioxazine compound having four vinylsulfone type reactive

A monoazo compound, or a salt thereof, of the formula, ##STR1## wherein W is a hydrogen atom or a carbamoyl group, R.sub.1 is a lower alkyl group, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are independently a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, A is an unsubstituted or substituted phenylene or naphthylene group, Y is --SO.sub.2 CH.dbd.CH.sub.2 or --SO.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 Z, in which Z is a group capable of being split by the action of an alkali, and X is an aromatic or aliphatic group substituted with one or two members selected from sulfonic acid group and carboxylic acid group, which is useful for dyeing fiber materials to give dyed products of a characteristic yellow color excellent in various fastness properties.

Pyridone monoazo compound having vinylsulfone type fiber-reactive group

A compound, or a salt thereof, represented by the following formula, ##STR1## wherein A is a substituted or unsubstituted phenylene or naphthylene group, B is ##STR2## in which R.sub.3 is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, acylamino or ureido group, and R.sub.4 is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl or lower alkoxy group, R.sub.1 and R.sub.3 are independently a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted lower alkyl group, X is a substituted or unsubstituted amino, lower alkoxy, substituted phenoxy or sulfo group, Y is --SO.sub.2 CH.dbd.CH.sub.2 or --SO.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 Z, in which Z is a group capable of being split by the action of an alkali, and m is 2 or 3, which is useful for dyeing hydroxyl group- or amide group-containing fiber materials to give dyed products of a brown color having excellent fastness properties with good build-up property.

Fiber-reactive disazo brown dye having vinylsulfone-type reactive group

A pyridone compound of the following formula, or a salt thereof, ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are independently a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group having up to 4 carbon atoms, X is a hydrogen atom or a methyl or sulfo group, A is an unsubstituted or substituted phenylene or naphthylene group, and Y is --SO.sub.2 CH.dbd.CH.sub.2 or --SO.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 Z, in which Z is a group capable of being split by the action of an alkali. The compound is useful for dyeing or printing fiber materials to give a dyed product of a brilliant yellow color excellent in various fastness properties with good reproducibility.
