Provided is a lighting system including a dimming control device that is arranged apart from a lighting device and outputs a DC voltage of a voltage value corresponding to a dimming degree indicating a turn-on state of a light source of the lighting device, in which the DC voltage is for controlling to turn on the light source in the lighting device, a wiring that transmits the DC voltage output by the dimming control device to the lighting device, and the lighting device that performs absorption control of absorbing a drop in the voltage value due to transmission of the DC voltage by the wiring.

Lighting system

A power supply device according to one embodiment is configured to control a lighting of semiconductor light-emitting elements, wherein a dimming signal is canceled during a predetermined time period (T) from a timing immediately after power-ON, so as to light on light-emitting diodes to have a predetermined light amount, for example, a minimum light amount. After an elapse of the predetermined time period (T), cancellation of the dimming signal is released to light on the light-emitting diodes to have a light amount instructed by the dimming signal.

Power supply device and lighting equipment provided with power supply device

A power supply device includes a control circuit and a first circuit. The control circuit switches between a current control mode and a voltage control mode according to an inputted dimming signal and thus dims a light-emitting element. In the current control mode the control circuit controls an output current supplied to the light-emitting element to a target current, and in the voltage control mode the control circuit controls an output voltage supplied to the light-emitting element to a target voltage. The first circuit detects the output current and the output voltage, and sets the target voltage at which switching between the current control mode and the voltage control mode is carried out as a first voltage.

According to one embodiment, a power supply for lighting includes an output element. The output element is connected between a power supply and a lighting load, and configured to be capable of being switched to a switching operation repeating an ON state and an OFF state and an ON continuation operation continuing the ON state.

A luminaire according to one embodiment includes a DC power supply circuit, a switching power supply, and a lighting load. The DC power supply circuit converts an AC voltage controlled in phase to a DC voltage. The switching power supply is connected to the DC power supply circuit, and is controlled so that an input current becomes a constant current. The lighting load is connected as a load circuit of the switching power supply.

Luminaire

A power supply apparatus of an embodiment includes a first filter, a second filter, and a switching power supply. The first filter and the second filter attenuate a common mode current to a level lower than a normal mode current. The switching power supply is connected between the first filter and the second filter, and supplies electric power to an illumination load via the second filter.

Power supply apparatus and luminaire

A lighting power source according to an embodiment includes a rectification circuit, a smoothing capacitor, a waveform shaping circuit, and a DC-DC converter. The rectification circuit rectifies an AC voltage input thereto. The waveform shaping circuit is connected between the rectification circuit and the smoothing capacitor, performs a switching operation to repeat an ON state and an OFF state when the voltage output from the rectification circuit is relatively high, continues to be in the ON state to allow the current to flow to the rectification circuit when the voltage output from the rectification circuit is relatively low. The DC-DC converter converts a voltage charged in the smoothing capacitor.

Lighting power source and luminaire

A power supply for illumination includes a detection circuit and a control circuit. The detection circuit compares an AC voltage whose phase is controlled with a first threshold voltage so as to detect a variation in a conduction state of phase control in the AC voltage, and compares the AC voltage with a second threshold voltage lower than the first threshold voltage so as to detect a zero-cross point of the AC voltage, thereby detecting a conduction period of the phase control. The control circuit outputs an output current according to the duration of the conduction period.

Power supply for illumination and luminaire

According to one embodiment, a power supply for lighting includes a rectifying circuit, a smoothing capacitor, and a current control circuit. The rectifying circuit rectifies a phase-controlled alternating-current voltage supplied to between a pair of input terminals. The smoothing capacitor is connected to a high-potential terminal and a low-potential terminal of the rectifying circuit. A first electric current flows to the current control circuit in a period when an absolute value of the alternating-current voltage is lower than a specified value. After a second electric current larger than the first electric current flows when the absolute value of the alternating-current voltage increases to be equal to or larger than the specified value, the current control circuit is shut off to reduce a current value to be smaller than the second electric current until the absolute value of the alternating-current voltage decreases to be lower than the specified value.

In a power supply device according to one embodiment, a reference signal (Vref), which changes from a value corresponding to a maximum current in a full lighting state to that corresponding to a minimum current in case of a deepest dimming depth, and a reference signal (Vref), which changes from a value corresponding to a load voltage at the time of a maximum current in a full lighting state to that corresponding to a minimum current in case of the deepest dimming depth, are prepared in accordance with dimming depths of a dimming signal. In a shallow dimming depth region close to a full lighting state, the reference signal (Vref) is selected to apply constant-current control to light-emitting diodes in a current control mode. In a deep dimming depth region, the reference signal (Vref) is selected to apply constant-voltage control to the diodes in a voltage control mode.

Power supply device and lighting equipment

According to one embodiment, a control section receives supply of control power from a control power supply section through a capacitive element and divides, a period of each half cycle of an alternating-current voltage into a first section, a second section, and a third section. In the first section, the control section subjects a switch section to conduction control to supply electric power to a load and stops a converting action of the control power supply section. In the second section, the control section subjects the switch section to non-conduction control to interrupt the power supply to the load and stops the converting action of the control power supply section. In the third section, the control section subjects the switch section to the non-conduction control to interrupt the power supply to the load and causes the converting action of the control power supply to operate.

Dimming device and lighting system

To a constant-current power supply whose output current can be variably set, light emitting modules can be connected in parallel. A control unit recognizes connection information outputted from an information output unit provided in each of the light emitting modules and varies the output current of the constant-current power supply. Drive can be controlled in response to a state of the connected light emitting modules such as the connecting number of light emitting modules.
