The disclosure includes a method that receives a real-time image of a road from a camera sensor communicatively coupled to an onboard computer of a vehicle. The method includes dividing the real-time image into superpixels. The method includes merging the superpixels to form superpixel regions. The method includes generating prior maps from a dataset of road scene images. The method includes drawing a set of bounding boxes where each bounding box surrounds one of the superpixel regions. The method includes comparing the bounding boxes in the set of bounding boxes to a road prior map to identify a road region in the real-time image. The method includes pruning bounding boxes from the set of bounding boxes to reduce the set to remaining bounding boxes. The method may include using a categorization module that identifies the presence of a road scene object in the remaining bounding boxes.

Detecting roadway objects in real-time images

A vehicle is provided with a driving environment information acquisition section, which acquires driving environment information, which is information on a driving environment of the vehicle. A center is provided with a driving environment evaluation section, which quantitatively evaluates the ease of traveling in the driving environment of the vehicle based on an analysis of the driving environment information acquired by the driving environment information acquisition section. A display section of the vehicle displays the result of evaluation by the driving environment evaluation section.

The disclosure includes a system and method for determine a real time driving difficulty category. The method may include determining image feature vector data based on one or more features depicted in a real time image of a road scene. The image feature vector data may describe an image feature vector for an edited version of the real time image. The method may include determining offline road map data for the road scene, which includes a static label for a road included in the road scene and offline road information describing a regulatory speed limit for the road. The method may include selecting, based on the static label, a classifier for analyzing the image feature vector. The method may include executing the selected classifier to determine a real time driving difficulty category describing the difficulty for a user of the client device to drive in the road scene.

Real time driving difficulty categorization

A display section classifies evaluation values of a first traveling environment into a plurality of classes to obtain levels of ease of driving and displays the levels of ease of driving for each of unit areas including one or a plurality of areas. The display section displays levels of ease of driving calculated based on evaluation values of a second traveling environment as replacement for first unit areas including areas in a level of ease of driving displaced from a median.

A guide groove has two protrusions on a side face, and a slider has three concave grooves, into which the two protrusions are capable of being fitted, on a sidewall. If the rate of the deviated vehicles which were determined as having traveled along the reroute is the first predetermined value or more, the systems, methods, and programs determine that guidance of the route is not appropriate.

Determining problematic travel conditions

A housing for an electronic device unit includes a first case and a second case that are formed in a shape of a box with one of respective surfaces thereof being opened and are formed to be a box body. The housing includes an insulating plate that extends from the opening part of the first case to a side of the second case and overlaps with a wall surface of the second case. An engaging convex part is formed on a surface where the insulating plate is overlapped and an engaging hole that engages with the engaging convex part to regulate separation of the first case and the second case is formed. The insulating plate is in a shape in which an edge of the insulating plate spreads with a predetermined width from an opening edge where the first case and the second case are butted and the engaging hole.

In the analog current output circuit according to the present invention, a rising start position and a tilt of an internal control voltage are set such that it crosses, at the maximum of an analog output current, a load end voltage obtained when the resistance of a load is the one near the center of a specification range. According to a comparison result in a comparator, a switch causes a DC/DC converter to input a high reference voltage and causes an output transistor to output a high power supply voltage when the internal control voltage is smaller than the load end voltage and causes the DC/DC converter to input a low reference voltage and causes the output transistor to output a low power supply voltage when the internal control voltage is larger than the load end voltage.

A driver model with higher precision is created as an evaluation standard for a driving condition in a normal condition. By detecting biometric information of a driver, whether a driver is in a usual condition or not is recognized. Then, data of driving conditions are collected while the driver is driving, and from the driving condition data, a part indicating that the driver operates in a usual condition is extracted to create a driver model. Further, the driver model is created taking only a case of driving in a normal condition as a driving action in normal times based on biometric information of the driver, and hence the driver model becomes more precise and neutral. Further, by using a GMM (Gaussian mixture model) for the driver model, a driver model for each driver can be created easily, and moreover, by calculation to maximize a conditional probability, a driving operation action is easily estimated and outputted.

An analog multiplexer with an insulated power supply includes: an analog signal transformer receiving an analog signal input in its primary winding via an FET, and ON/OFF driving the FET to generate a pulse with an amplitude of the analog signal in its secondary winding; a drive transformer receiving a drive pulse input in its primary winding via an FET to generate a pulse turning ON/OFF the FET in its secondary winding; an inhibit generation circuit generating an inhibit pulse having a wider pulse width than that of the drive pulse; an AND gate determining a logical product of a continuous pulse from a continuous pulse generation circuit and the inhibit pulse to obtain a power supply pulse train; and a rectifying/smoothing circuit obtaining a direct current voltage corresponding to the power supply pulse train to apply the direct current voltage to the primary winding of the transformer through high resistance.
