A drive apparatus of a synchronous motor includes a current detecting unit that detects a phase current flowing to the synchronous motor and a magnetic pole position estimating unit that estimates a magnetic pole position of a rotor of the synchronous motor. The magnetic pole position estimating unit includes a first peak-to-peak detector that detects a first peak-to-peak value representing a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of the phase current, a quadrature component detector that detects a quadrature component of the phase current, and a second peak-to-peak detector that detects a second peak-to-peak value representing a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of the quadrature component. The magnetic pole position estimating unit calculates a first magnetic pole position and estimates an initial magnetic pole position of the rotor, based on the first magnetic pole position.

Drive apparatus of synchronous motor and method for driving synchronous motor

An inverter control deviceincludes a PWM control unitthat generates a PWM pulse for controlling an inverter, and a pulse edge control unitthat performs pulse edge control for correcting (shifting) a phase of a pulse edge of the PWM pulse generated by the PWM control unit. Inverter control device

A motor control device includes a PWM control unit, a carrier frequency setting unit, and a carrier frequency switching calculation unit. The PWM unite generates a signal to drive an inverter by pulse width modulation. The carrier frequency setting unit sets a carrier frequency used for pulse width modulation according to a number of rotations of a motor. The carrier frequency switching calculation unit calculates a frequency switching speed of the carrier frequency and is configured to perform a calculation method. The calculation method includes setting at least one of an emergency mode, a response priority mode, or a fluctuation suppression priority mode in response to various operating conditions.

Motor control device

Motor control device and electric vehicle system

To appropriately limit a current output from an inverter to a motor according to a state of a cooling mechanism that cools the motor and the inverter. A motor control unit includes a current command unit configured to calculate current command values (Id*, Iq*) for determining a current to be output to a motor on the basis of an input torque command, a motor lock determination unit configured to determine whether the motor is in a locked state on the basis of a motor rotation speed Nrpm indicating a rotation state of the motor, and a torque command limitation unit configured to limit the current to be output to the motor by limiting the torque command on the basis of a cooling water temperature Tc indicating a state of the cooling mechanism in a case where the motor lock determination unit determines that the motor is in the locked state.

An object of the invention is to correct a variation of a gain of a current sensor without causing an increase in size and a high cost of an inverter control device. An inverter control device according to the invention includes a 3-phase/dq-axis conversion unit which converts the output current detected by a current sensor into a dq-axis current and a gain adjustment unit which adjusts a detection gain of the current sensor for each phase. In a case where a current value of a secondary harmonic component contained in the dq-axis current is equal to or more than a predetermined threshold, the gain adjustment unit corrects the gain of the current sensor such that the current value of the secondary harmonic component becomes less than the threshold.

A motor control device according to the invention includes: a mode setting section that sets one of a first mode in which a charge/discharge current of a secondary battery varies according to load fluctuation of a motor and a second mode in which the charge/discharge current of the secondary battery becomes constant for a predetermined time regardless of the load fluctuation of the motor; and a drive signal generating section that generates a drive signal for driving the motor on the basis of the mode that is set by the mode setting section, a torque command value, and a motor rotation speed.

According to the present invention, an electrical power conversion system includes: a motor; an inverter circuit that outputs three-phase (U-phase, V-phase, W-phase) alternating currents to the motor; a current sensor that detects each of the three-phase alternating currents; and a control circuit that controls the inverter circuit based on a torque command value and values detected by the current sensor, so that the three-phase alternating currents outputted from the inverter circuit are formed as sine waves; and wherein the control circuit includes: a current component extraction unit that, based on the values detected by the current sensor, for each phase, extracts current components superimposed upon each of three-phase alternating currents; and an AC current abnormality detection unit that detects abnormality of an AC current flowing to the motor, based on the phases of the current components for any two phases among the three-phase alternating currents.

Electric power conversion system and electric power conversion device

An object of the present invention is to provide a motor control apparatus that can perform an abnormality diagnosis of current sensors and achieve cost reduction. When the outputs from three current sensors, which detect individual phase currents of a 3-phase AC current supplied from an inverter to a 3-phase AC motor, indicate that the sum of the individual phase currents of the 3-phase AC current is greater than a predetermined value, a sensor abnormality judgment unit of a motor control unit judges that one of the three current sensors is abnormal. The sensor abnormality judgment unit identifies an abnormal current sensor, which is one of the three current sensors, and performs calculations in accordance with the remaining two normal current sensors to output the current in the phase detected by the abnormal current sensor.

Motor control apparatus

There is provided an AC motor controller capable of detecting an abnormal state of a motor cable while an AC motor is operating without using a special circuit but using a processor. The AC motor controller includes an AC motor; an inverter for driving the AC motor with a motor current through a motor cable; and a motor current detector for detecting the motor current flowing in the motor cable of the AC motor, in which a processor detects an abnormal state of the motor cable such as an inter-phase short circuit and an open circuit based on the motor current detected by the motor current detector.

AC motor controller

An apparatus for executing field weakening control comprises a means for computing a start rotational speed of field weakening control based on a ratio of a battery voltage used in a normal operation to a detected battery voltage in execution of only field weakening control without generating a torque, and an interpolation means for carrying out linear interpolation on at least two values selectively fetched from a plurality of current tables in accordance with a battery voltage to find a field weakening current. The apparatus provided by the present invention is further characterized in that, in addition to correction of a start rotational speed of the field weakening control, a field weakening current is corrected in accordance with a ratio of a rated battery voltage used in a normal operation to a detected battery voltage.
