There is provided a resin tube-equipped quick connector capable of connecting a fuel-transporting resin tube to a mating pipe without hindrance even if the resin tube has a small diameter. The quick connector is constructed such that it includes a connector body having a press-fitting portion, and a retainer. On the other hand, a press-fit undergoing portion of the resin tube into which the press-fitting portion is to be press-fitted is beforehand expanded in tube diameter prior to the press-fitting, and the press-fitting portion is press-fitted into the expanded press-fit undergoing portion in a withdrawal-preventing condition to provide the quick connector equipped with the resin tube.

A fuel hose which satisfies low-permeability requirements in conformity with stringent regulations against vapor emission of fuel gases, is halogen-free and has excellent hydrolysis resistance, inter-layer adhesiveness and low-temperature flexibility. The fuel hose comprises: an innermost layer ( ) comprising a thermoplastic polyester elastomer and having a flexural modulus in a predetermined range; an intermediate layer ( ) comprising a polyester resin and provided around the innermost layer ( ); and an outermost layer ( ) comprising a thermoplastic polybutylene terephthalate elastomer and provided around the intermediate layer ( ).

Fuel hose

A fuel hose which is less permeable to an automotive fuel and highly resistant to a sour gasoline. The fuel hose comprises at least one layer including an innermost layer which comprises a thermoplastic polybutylene terephthalate elastomer containing a dimer acid moiety.

A tube connector device for connecting at least one first tube which is disposed on one side of a panel and at least one second tube which is disposed on the other side of the panel, the tube connector device including (a) at least one tubular connector for connecting the first tube and the second tube, such that the first tube is attached to one open end of the connector while the second tube is attached to the other open end, (b) a connector holder for holding the connector such that the connector holder is fitted on an external circumferential surface of the above-indicated other open end of the connector, and (c) a fixture for attaching the connector holder to the panel such that the connector holder is fitted into a communication hole formed through the panel, and wherein the connector holder is made of a rubber or a thermoplastic elastomer, and includes a tubular body having an axial hole engaging the above-indicated other open end, and a flange portion extending outwardly from the tubular body in a radial direction of the connector holder, the connector holder being attached at the flange portion to the panel by the fixture.

A quick connector comprises a tubular-shaped female member, a tubular-shaped male member, and an engager member which comprises a 'C' ring-shaped and tapered stopper whose diameter can be increased in said annular-shaped concave, and which has the smaller diameter ends having the small diameter at the inner side of said female member and having the large diameter at the side of said opened flange to engage said engager projection, and which has the larger diameter ends having the diameter larger than that of said opened flange of said female member to face the inside end surface of said opened flange; a regulator which is installed in the axial direction to said stopper, and which is projected in the centrifugal directions than do the larger diameter ends of said stopper, and which is brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface of said annular-shaped concave to regulate the displacement in the radial direction of said stopper; and a linkage for connecting said stopper and said regulator. In the quick connector, the smooth insertion of the male member and the satisfactory diameter enlargement of the stopper can be obtained.

Quick connector

A quick connector includes a male member, a female member and an engager claw member. The male member includes a ring-shaped engager. The female member includes a receiver hole having an opening into which the male member is inserted, a ring-shaped stopper surface disposed oppositely to the opening, and a regulatory inner peripheral surface extending from the periphery of the stopper surface in an axial direction. The engager claw member disposed in the receiver hole of the female member, and it includes a ring-shaped base disposed movably in an axial direction, arms extending from the base to the opening in an axial direction and adapted for being elastically deformable in a radial direction, and a claw disposed so as to extend from each of the arms and adapted for engaging with the engager of the male member. In operation, the claws of the engager claw member are brought into contact with the stopper surface and engaged with the regulatory inner peripheral surface while they are engaged with the engager of the male member. Consequently, the male member in inhibited from displacing not only in an axial direction by the stopper surface, but also in a centrifugal direction by the regulatory inner peripheral surface. Thus, the engaging force associated with the claws is exerted securely, and accordingly the reliability of the quick connector in piping can be improved.

A quick connector includes a male member, a female member, an engager claw member and an urging member. The male member includes an engager at an end. The female member includes a receiver opening, and a inner peripheral surface at least. The engager claw member is disposed relatively movably in an axial direction in the female member, and includes a flange, an engager claw adapted for engaging with the engager of the male member, and a projection adapted for engaging with the inner peripheral surface of the female member at least. The urging member is interposed between the female member and the flange of the engager claw member, and urges the engager claw member outward to the receiver opening of female member. The projection of the engager claw member engages with the inner peripheral surface of the female member, and simultaneously the engager claw of the engager claw member engages with the engager of the male member. Hence, the male member and the female member can be connected quickly and firmly in an axial direction as well as in a radial direction by means of the engager claw member and the urging member.

A connector includes a first member and a second member. The first member includes a conduit having a ring-shaped projection formed at a rear end and a tubular body having first engagers and second engagers. The second member has a tubular shape, and includes third engagers and a presser formed adjacent to a rear end. The ring-shaped projection of the conduit engages with the first engagers of the tubular body, thereby preventing a relative movement between the conduit and the tubular body in an axial direction in the first member. Further, the second engagers of the tubular body engage with the third engagers of the second member, thereby preventing a relative movement between the first member and the second member in an axial direction in the connector. The presser of the second member presses the tubular body of the first member inwardly in a radial direction, thereby preventing a relative movement between the first member and the second member in a direction being perpendicular to an axial direction in the connector. Thus, the connector exhibits remarkably strong forces for engaging the first member with the second member in an axial direction as well as in a direction being perpendicular to an axial direction.

Connector

A quick connector includes a first member, a second member, an engager claw member and an urging member. The first member includes a first tube and a ring-shaped projection. The second member includes a socket at an end thereof, the socket including a tapered regulatory inner peripheral surface. The engager claw member is made movable in an axial direction of the socket, disposed in the second member, and includes a ring-shaped base, a plurality of arms being deformable in a radial direction and a claw extending from an end of the arms and engaging with the ring-shaped projection of the first member. The urging member presses the engager claw member onto the tapered regulatory inner peripheral surface of the socket, and urges the claw inwardly in a radial direction. Thus, in the quick connector, enhanced engagement can be achieved between the claw of the engager claw member and the ring-shaped projection of the first member, thereby securely preventing the first member and the second member from relatively moving in a direction being perpendicular to an axial direction and in an axial direction.
