A semiconductor device which combines reliability and the guarantee of electrical characteristics is provided. A power MOSFET and a protection circuit formed over the same semiconductor substrate are provided. The power MOSFET is a trench gate vertical type P-channel MOSFET and the conduction type of the gate electrode is assumed to be P-type. The protection circuit includes a planar gate horizontal type offset P-channel MOSFET and the conduction type of the gate electrode is assumed to be N-type. These gate electrode and gate electrode are formed in separate steps.

Semiconductor device and manufacturing method of the same

A laminograph including, a radiation source for generating radiation towards a subject, a radiation surface sensor device with a two-dimensional resolution, fitted opposite to the radiation source for detecting the radiation from the radiation source which has passed through the subject, a scanning device for moving the subject to take a plurality of different positions between the radiation source and the radiation surface sensor device and for scanning the subject in each of the different positions by the radiation from the radiation source. The laminograph further includes a data collection device for collecting the plurality of outputs of the radiation surface sensor device during the scanning by the scanning device to obtain the plurality of radiographic images of the subject in the different positions, a position measurement device for measuring multiple positions of a focal plane at multiple places of the subject, a displacement measurement device for measuring multiple displacement based on the multiple positions of the focal plane measured by the position measurement device, and an image processing device for adding and averaging the plurality of radiographic images with the displacements to obtain a radiographic image of the subject focused on the focal plane as a tomographic image of the subject.

Laminograph and inspection and repair device using the same

A coil packing line in which coils are packed by a plurality of operation processes is provided. The coil packing line is provided with a plurality of work stations, stationary skid mechanisms, carriage mechanisms and a plurality of reciprocating mechanisms. Each operation process has a corresponding work station. The stationary skid mechanisms are provided at each work station for supporting a coil at the work station. The carriage mechanisms are provided between each work station for removing a coil from an upstream stationary skid mechanism, supporting the coil and depositing the coil at a downstream stationary skid mechanism. The plurality of reciprocating mechanisms independently move at least one carriage mechanism back and forth between the upstream and downstream stationary skid mechanisms.

A transverse type gas laser oscillator includes a receptacle for containing a gas as a laser medium, a pair of electrodes disposed to be parallel to each other on opposite sides of the receptacle so that an electric field is established for generation of AC discharge when a high-frequency voltage is applied to them, and a pair of permanent magnets disposed so as to form a magnetic field intersecting a direction of the electric field established between the electrodes, or a pair of coils excited by a DC voltage. Consequently, ionization of the gas excited by the electric field is increased by the magnetic field.

Gas laser oscillator

A gas laser device includes a high frequency power source for generating a high frequency output voltage and a pair of electrodes positioned sandwiching a discharge gap through which laser gas circulates. The pair of the electrodes are connected to the high frequency power source for applying the high frequency output voltage across the electrodes to achieve discharge in the discharge gap and to thereby generate laser light. Each of the electrodes includes an electrode element, a capacity coupling control element provided on either side of the electrode element, and a dielectric shell. The dielectric shell surrounds the electrode element and the capacity coupling control element, therefore the discharge occurs between the dielectric shells of a pair of the electrodes. The dielectric constant of the capacity coupling control means is lower than that of the dielectric shell.

Gas laser device

A gas laser device, including an a.c. power source for generating a.c. output voltage and a pair of electrodes positioned sandwiching discharge gap through which laser gas circulates. The pair of electrodes are connected to the a.c. power source for applying the a.c. voltage across the electrodes to achieve discharge in the discharge gap such as to create a positive column region and boundary layer regions, thereby to generate laser light. The positive column region is created in the discharge gap and a.c. power injected therein contributes to laser excitation. The boundary layer regions is created in a vicinity of one of the pair of electrodes, respectively and a.c. power injected therein does not contribute to laser excitation. A frequency of the a.c. power source is set to at least 700 kHz and an a.c. output voltage of the a.c. power source is set at a level such that a voltage in the positive column region is larger than a burden voltage in the boundary layer regions.
