It is possible simply switch between a mode of causing one robot to perform an operation independently from another robot and another mode of causing one robot and another robot to perform an operation in cooperation. A robot system includes a first-type robot, a first-type control part which takes charge of drive control of the first-type robot, a second-type robot, and a second-type control part which takes charge of drive control of the second-type robot. When the first-type robot and the second-type robot perform an operation on the same object in cooperation, a control part in charge of drive control of the second-type robot is changed from the second-type control part to the first-type control part, and the first-type control part takes charge of drive control of the first-type robot and the second-type robot.

A linear conveyor device is installed on a platform having an upper surface which serves as a predetermined installation surface. The linear conveyor device includes a linear motor stator; a slider which includes a linear motor mover; a straight-line conveyance part formed by linearly connecting a plurality of modules to each other, the modules each including a base frame that has an upper surface having guide rails for guiding the movement of the slider and a lower surface facing the platform; and a base member disposed between the upper surface of the platform and the lower surfaces of the modules at a connecting portion between the modules, and configured to position and support the pair of modules to be connected to each other.

An example system includes a vehicle, a robot, and a controller. The vehicle may include an accelerator operator and a steering operator. The robot may include as accelerator actuator configured to operate the accelerator operator, and a steering actuator configured to operate-the steering operator. The controller is configured to: in response to an accelerator command, send a first signal to the accelerator actuator to operate the accelerator operator of the vehicle, and in response to a steering command, send a second, signal to the steering actuator to steer the vehicle.
