An electrocardiographic electrode, which is held in close contact with a person's skin for deriving a weak voltage from an inner part of the person, is disclosed. The electrode includes a viscous base member having a central opening to be held in close contact with the person's skin and a reinforcement member bonded to the front surface of the viscous base member to close the opening, and an electrode member provided in the reinforcement member. The viscous base member with the opening is viscous both on the back side, to be held in close contact with the skin, and on the front side, to be coupled to the lead connector.

Electrocardiographic electrode

An electrocardiogram electrode pad has elasticity and flexibility and encloses an electrocardiogram electrode to be held in close contact with the skin surface of a man to derive a weak current therefrom. The electrocardiogram electrode pad having a bottom wall to be held in contact with the skin surface of the man and a side wall extending from the edge of the bottom wall to be fitted on the electrode section of electrocardiogram electrode. The side wall has a greater thickness for its free end portion than its intermediate and stem portions. The side wall has a pinch portion projecting from the free end to be pinched when fitting and removing the electrocardiogram electrode pad with respect to the electrocardiogram electrode.

Electrocardiogram electrode pad

An electrocardiographic electrode is disclosed, which is to be held in close contact with a person's skin for deriving a weak voltage from an inner part of the person. The electrode includes a viscous base member to be held in close contact with the person's skin and having a central opening, a reinforcement member bonded to the front surface of the viscous base member to close the opening, a lead connector hook penetrating a central portion of the reinforcement member to be coupled to a lead connector, and an electrode member secured to the underside of the lead connector hook. The viscous base member with the central opening is viscous both on the back surface to be held in close contact with the skin and on the front surface coupled to the lead connector.

A water-proof device for a transmitter is disclosed which comprises a plurality of water-proof electrodes attached to the surface of a man for deriving minute electrocardiogram signals. A water-proof plug receives a plurality of electrode leads and, a connector for connects the leads to, a transmitter. The transmitter and connector are accommodated in a sealed water-proof sack.

An electrocardiographic amorphous alloy electrode is manufactured from an iron-based (or nickel-based) amorphous alloy containing chromium as a metallic element and also containing at least one member of a group consisting of phosphorus, carbon, silicon and boron as a non-metallic element or semi-metallic elements.

An electrode securement sheet for securing, to the skin surface of a living body, an electrode held in close contact with the skin surface for deriving a weak current from the living body, is disclosed. The sheet comprises a substantially circular electrode securement section, which is to be secured to the skin surface to cover the electrode. A lead securement section extends integrally from the electrode securement section for securing, to the skin surface, a lead for leading the weak current extracted through the electrode to an electrocardiogram. A lead securement piece is provided separate from the electrode securement section and lead securement section, these sections being separably bonded to a cardboard.
