The manufacturing method for a rotor includes steps of: applying an adhesive to a first surface of a magnet material member that becomes a permanent magnet after magnetization, the adhesive being applied such that a total thickness of the magnet material member and the adhesive is less than a radial width of a magnet insertion aperture; disposing a rotor core such that an axial direction thereof is horizontal, and inserting the magnet material member into a magnet insertion aperture that is positioned vertically uppermost among the magnet insertion apertures so as to orient the adhesive vertically upward; positioning each of the magnet material members by pressing the magnet material member against an inner wall surface on an outer circumferential side of the magnet insertion aperture after inserting the magnet material member into each of the magnet insertion apertures; and curing the adhesive after the magnet material member is positioned.

Manufacturing method for rotor for rotary electric machine

According to an electric motor, a cooling hole is formed outside of a circular arc-like region having an intersection between extension lines from inner side surfaces of adjacent permanent magnets as a center of the circular arc-like region and a distance between the intersection and an intermediate point on the side surface of the permanent magnet as a radius of the circular arc-like region. Thus, heat generation by a magnetic resistance due to the cooling hole is suppressed to improve efficiency.

An armature winding includes a plurality of distributed winding bodies that are each produced by winding a single conductor wire that is insulated, jointless, and continuous, and that has a constant cross-sectional area perpendicular to a longitudinal direction, the conductor wires include first through third coil end portions that link first through fourth rectilinear portions and first through fourth rectilinear portions, and are formed such that radial widths w' of the first through fourth rectilinear portions are wider than radial widths w of the first through third coil end portions, and first gaps are formed between radially adjacent coil end portions to allow a cooling medium to pass through the first gaps.

Rotary electric machine having armature windings with reduced width portions

A permanent magnet rotor has a rotor core positioned about a rotation shaft. The permanent magnet rotor also has permanent magnet embedment slots located at equally spaced positions from the rotation shaft, with permanent magnets inserted into each of the respective permanent magnet embedment slots. The permanent magnet embedment slots each have both a magnet storing portion, and a buffer and other members storing portion which extends to the magnet storing portion. Once a permanent magnet is stored inside the magnet storing portion, a buffer member, and a pushing member are used to secure the permanent magnet inside the rotor core.

A rotary electric machine is provided with a shaft which is a rotary shaft; a laminated core which has a permanent magnet embedded therein and is press-fitted to the shaft; a first member which is a magnetic member and is press-fitted to the shaft so as to hold an end portion of the laminated core; a second member which is a nonmagnetic member and is provided between the end portion of the laminated core and the first member so as to hold an end portion, with respect to the axial direction of the shaft, of the permanent magnet; and at least one of a first gap between the first member and the second member, and a second gap between the laminated core and the second member.

In a rotor of a magneto generator in which permanent magnets are attached to the inner circumference of a peripheral wall of a cup-shaped formed flywheel, and a plurality of trigger poles are arranged on the outer circumference of the flywheel; the plurality of trigger poles are simultaneously punched out by press working to form a protrusion ring which is formed of a separate member from the flywheel, and the protrusion ring is integrally incorporated to the flywheel to configure the rotor.

Rotor of magneto generator

A magneto generator can provide a flywheel with a high circularity while reducing man hours in processing the flywheel. A bowl-shaped flywheel has a cylindrical portion and a bottom. A plurality of permanent magnets are arranged on an inner peripheral wall surface of the cylindrical portion. A magnet cover is arranged along inner surfaces of the magnets, bent into a cylindrical shape, and has its opposite ends bonded to each other by a diametrally extending joint portion. A resin material is arranged on an inner side of the flywheel to integrate the magnets and the magnet cover with the flywheel. The flywheel is formed, at the bottom side of the cylindrical portion, with a pair of concave and convex portions arranged in opposition to each other. The joint portion is sandwiched between the concave and convex portions whereby the circumferential positioning of the magnets with respect to the flywheel is performed.

A magnetoelectric generator includes: a generating coil that is constituted by: a generating coil main body in which a conducting wire is wound onto respective teeth of a stator core; and an output wire that is led axially outward from the generating coil main body; and a varnish that is applied to a surface of the generating coil and heat-hardened, and an insulating insert is inserted into a gap in the generating coil between adjacent teeth; and the output wire is fixed to the generating coil main body by the varnish and is also fixed by being held between the insulating insert and the generating coil main body.

Magnetoelectric generator and method for manufacture thereof

A three-phase alternating current generator includes a bowl-shaped flywheel, sixteen permanent magnets provided on an inner circumferential surface of the flywheel, and a stator located in the flywheel. Further, The stator is composed of twelve teeth provided opposite to the permanent magnets and of coils each being continuously wound around every three teeth among the teeth for generating electric power by an electromagnetic induction effect with the magnets.

Three-phase alternating current generator

A magneto-generator includes: a plurality of magnets disposed being bonded to an inner circumferential surface of a flywheel; and a magneto coil that is disposed in the flywheel being opposed to the magnets and coaxial with the flywheel, and that generates an electric power by the action of electromagnetic induction with the magnets. The magneto coil is cooled with a cooling medium to be supplied from the opening side of the flywheel. A gap is formed in an axial direction of the flywheel between the mentioned adjacent magnets, and an annular magnet holder is bonded to an inner circumferential surface on the opening side of the flywheel and to the opening side of the flywheel of each magnet to close the opening side of the gap between the magnets. As a result, the magneto-generator is capable of suppressing the fluctuation in temperature of the magneto coil, and further reducing a coil temperature.

A magneto-generator capable of suppressing temperature rise of an armature winding and ensuring an improved electricity generation efficiency includes a flywheel having a cylindrical peripheral wall formed with a flat bottom wall at one end thereof, a plurality of magnets disposed on and along an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical peripheral wall, a generator coil disposed internally of the flywheel in opposition to the magnets for generating electricity under electromagnetic induction taking place between the magnets and the generator coil, ventilating through-holes formed in a joined portion of the cylindrical peripheral wall and the flat bottom wall so as to extend partially through both of them, and upstanding fins disposed on the bottom wall for generating forced air flows from interior to exterior of the flywheel through the ventilating through-holes upon rotation of the flywheel.
