A cell culture container includes a storage container, a cell culture area, a culture solution supply unit, and a discharge unit. The cell culture area is a region for culturing cells, and is provided in the storage container. The culture solution supply unit supplies the culture solution into the cell culture area at a flow rate equal to or less than a predetermined flow rate. The discharge unit discharges the liquid in the cell culture area to the outside of the storage container. A rectification unit is a structure in which a plurality of outflow ports are uniformly arranged in a direction perpendicular to the flow direction of the culture solution from the culture solution supply unit to the discharge unit.

A supercritical fluid chromatograph includes a supercritical flow path, a mobile phase supply section for supplying a mobile phase containing liquid carbon dioxide, a sample introduction section, a sample separation section, a detector, and a pressure control valve. A valve post-stage flow path is connected to a fluid outlet of the pressure control valve, and the inside of the valve post-stage flow path is maintained by pressure maintaining means at a pressure by which a mobile phase from the fluid outlet of the pressure control valve is not vaporized.

A total organic carbon measuring instrument including a measuring unit composed of, integrated together, organic substance oxidation part and carbon dioxide separation part and conductivity measuring part, control unit and data processing unit. In order to enhance the accuracy of conductivity measurement, the control unit is constructed so as to stop feeding of a sample water at the time of oxidation of organic substance and carry out feeding of the sample water at the time of sample water moving to the organic substance oxidation decomposition part and carbon dioxide separation part. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A gas exchange chip comprises substrates (); two flow channels () formed in the substrates () and each having an inlet port and an outlet port; and multiple grooves () interlinking the flow channels (). The grooves () have the size of their sectional area predetermined and have at least a part of the internal surface thereof rendered hydrophobic so as to permit the transfer of gas component while inhibiting any liquid passage. A sample water containing carbon dioxide is caused to flow through one of the flow channels () while pure water is caused to flow through the other flow channel () to thereby transfer the carbon dioxide contained in the sample water into the pure water.

Gas exchange chip

An apparatus which comprises: an organic-substance oxidation part in which organic substances contained in a sample water supplied are oxidized into carbon dioxide; a carbon dioxide separation part in which the carbon dioxide contained in the sample water is caused to permeate and come into a measurement water; and a conductivity measurement part in which the conductivity of the measurement water is measured. The carbon dioxide separation part comprises: a sample water channel in which sample water flows; an intermediate water part in which intermediate water having a higher pH value in a neutral region than the sample water is present; and a measurement water channel through which the measurement water comprising deionized water flows. The sample water channel is in contact with the intermediate water part through a gas-permeable membrane, and the intermediate water part is in contact with the measurement water channel through a gas-permeable membrane.

Apparatus for determining total organic carbon

To provide a method for analyzing a nucleic acid according to high throughput microcapillary electrophoresis during microchip electrophoresis under non-steady electric field, the method being capable of detecting polymorphism of a large number of genes at a high speed. The present invention is useful for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases such as detection of gene diseases and application to Taylor-made therapy.

Nucleic acid analyzing method

A rescue aiding apparatus carried by a lost person includes a radio receiver for receiving a radio signal, a radio transmitter for transmitting a radio signal, and a power supply for supplying working power. When the radio receiver receives a radio search signal transmitted from a search party, the power supply supplies operating power to the radio transmitter. The apparatus thereby becomes fully operable, and the radio transmitter transmits a radio signal as a response signal for enabling a search for the lost person needing protection. Even when the lost person is unable to make a rescue request, the search party can, on their own will, place the rescue aiding apparatus carried by the lost person in a fully operable state to notify the search party of a current position of the lost person.
