An information processing apparatus includes a first processor coupled to a first memory and programmed to execute a first operation system (OS) to output a first image signal, a second processor coupled to a second memory and programmed to execute a second OS to output a second image signal, the second processor being separate from the first processor, a display interface including a configuration channel (CC) signal line and an image signal line, a first switch that switches between connecting or disconnecting the CC signal line to both the first processor and the second processor, and a second switch that switches between connecting the image signal line to the first image signal or to second image signal.

Electronic device with reduced chassis thickness

An electronic apparatus that can secure a space in a bezel while controlling the thickness of a main body, in which a display is disposed, and the width of a bezel to a minimum is disclosed. The electronic apparatus includes a main body having a display and a bezel disposed around the display, a first board that controls an image displayed on the display, and an FPC that connects at least two terminal groups arranged along one side of the display and the first board. The first board is disposed at a position adjacent to the one side in the bezel, and the FPC has a first wiring section connected to at least two terminal groups and extends, grouping together wires at one place on the rear surface of the display, and a second wiring section that connects the wires grouped together by the first wiring section to the first board.

The method includes forming a cavity in a PCB that is in a PCB panel that includes a frame and stays, mounting an electronic component, heating the PCB panel, and cutting the stays. The PCB panel includes a frame body and a PCB coupled to the frame body via stays. The PCB includes a cavity. A first cavity stay is located near the cavity. Extended lines extend from the cavity, and the cavity stay extends at least between the extended lines. The PCB includes a cavity and a connection point from a cavity stay near the cavity.

PCB panel, PCB, and manufacturing method

A transceiver is disclosed. The transceiver includes a first unit capable of a full-duplex communication using an electromagnetic wave, and a second unit capable of a full-duplex communication using an electromagnetic wave. The first unit includes a transmitter and a receiver arranged in this order at a predetermined interval in a first direction. The second unit includes a receiver and a transmitter arranged in this order at a predetermined interval in the first direction. The second unit is placed adjacent to the first unit in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.

Electronic apparatus having multiple transceivers

An electronic component includes a first substrate including first connection terminals in an end region on a first surface; and a second substrate including second connection terminals on a first surface, the second connection terminals being disposed at a position corresponding to the first connection terminals. Each of the first connection terminals includes a base and an elastic contact piece extending from the base. The elastic contact piece is elastically deformable in a direction in which the tip end portion thereof approaches and departs with respect to the base. The first connection terminals are electrically connected to the second connection terminals while having the first surface of the first substrate being opposed to the first surface of the second substrate, and the second connection terminals being pressed onto the elastic contact pieces.

Dual screen device having power state indicators

A flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) is disclosed. The FPCB can be employed to connect an interface card having connectors with a two-stage configuration to a connection destination of a portable information equipment. The FPCB includes a bend line located between an upper-stage terminal group and a lower-stage terminal group. The FPCB can be bent along the bend line to allow the upper-stage terminal group and the lower-stage terminal group to be mutually superimposed over each other. In addition, the upper-stage terminal group of the FPCB is connected to the upper-stage-side connector terminal group of the interface card, and the lower-stage terminal group of the FPCB is connected to the lower-stage-side connector terminal group of the interface card.

Flexible printer circuit board

A cable connection method is provided. In a cable connection structure, a connection agent in which fine solder particle are densely scattered in a thermosetting resin-based adhesive is interposed between a connection portion of a flexible printed cable (FPC) cable in which a shield layer is formed on one surface side of a signal layer and a connection portion on a substrate side. Then, the connection portion of the FPC cable and the connection portion on the substrate side are solder connected by heating. A shield layer corresponding to the connection portion of the FPC cable and/or a region portion up to a position separated from the base end side of the connection portion of the FPC cable by a predetermined length is configured with a conductive mesh structure body. The other region of the shield layer contains a conductive flat plate structure.

An apparatus has an antenna distance setting mechanism that sets a distance between a cosmetic cover and a radio antenna. An upper housing and a radio antenna, which has a ground and a radiating element and is movably attached to the upper housing, are covered by a cosmetic cover formed of a dielectric material. An antenna distance setting mechanism includes a radio antenna supporting member, elastic members, and protrusions. The radio antenna-supporting member is movably attached to the upper housing. When the cosmetic cover is attached to the upper housing, an inner wall of the cosmetic cover pushes the ends of the protrusions against an elastic force of the elastic members to set the distance between the radiating element and the inner wall of the cosmetic cover to a predetermined distance.

A pen input apparatus includes a plurality of penpoints for drawing tracks on a recording medium such as paper, and a selector for selecting a specific penpoint from the plurality of penpoints. The input apparatus including a type recognition unit for recognizing the type of the selected penpoint (such as the color of a line which can be drawn, the thickness of the line, pen type such as ballpoint pen, sign pen or fluorescent pen), and a transmitter for transmitting the track of the penpoint as position information, and transmitting the information on the type recognized by the type recognition unit to a computer system.

Electronic input apparatus and method thereof

A computer system measures bus signal distortion and then adjusts certain characteristics of the signal transmitted over the bus, or adjusts other characteristics of the bus or the load on the bus so that signal distortion is reduced. Distortion characteristics that may be measured include signal voltage overshoot and undershoot, and data setup and hold times. Characteristics of the signal and the system that may be adjusted include changing the slew rate of the signal, changing the data setup and hold times, and changing the load impedance on the bus.

System for reducing distortion of signals transmitted over a bus

A connector for achieving stabilization of operation of electronic equipment against EMI/ESD by reinforcing grounding of an entire connector is provided for. An interface connector has protruding portions formed on a top face and bottom face of a metal shell, wherein the height of these protruding portions is in a predetermined relationship to one another, such that the connector and connector connection structure provide: a reduction in the contact resistance in fitting portions of connectors, and hence an improvement in conductivity.
