A display device is provided. The display device includes a first pixel, a first emission signal line and a second emission signal line. The first pixel includes a blue sub-pixel, a green sub-pixel and a red sub-pixel. The blue sub-pixel includes a first emission control switch. The green sub-pixel includes a second emission control switch. The red sub-pixel includes a third emission control switch. The first emission signal line is electrically connected to the first emission control switch and the second emission control switch. The second emission signal line is electrically connected to the third emission control switch.

Display device

A display device includes a plurality of pixels. The pixels are configured to be operated in a plurality of frame periods. Each of the frame periods includes at least two first emission periods corresponding to a first scan signal and at least two second emission periods corresponding to a second scan signal. Each of the pixels includes a light emitting diode and a driving circuit coupled to the light emitting diode. In a same frame period, a first pixel of the plurality of pixels is emitted in the at least two first emission periods and a second pixel of the plurality of pixels is emitted in the at least two second emission periods.

A display device including a pixel circuit is provided. The pixel circuit includes a first sub-pixel circuit, a second sub-pixel circuit, and a third sub-pixel circuit. The first sub-pixel circuit and the third sub-pixel circuit are separated by the second sub-pixel circuit. The pixel circuit further includes a first data line, a second data line which are separated from each other. A first gate terminal of a first driving transistor of the first sub-pixel circuit is electrically connected to a second gate terminal of a third driving transistor of the second sub-pixel circuit. A first terminal of a switch circuit of the second sub-pixel circuit is electrically connected to the first gate terminal of the first driving transistor of the first sub-pixel circuit. Pixel circuit for a display device which has a compensation circuit for color shift issue

A pixel circuit includes a switching transistor, a first driving transistor, a second driving transistor, a first emission control transistor, a second emission control transistor, and a light emitting diode. The first driving transistor is coupled the switching transistor. The second driving transistor is coupled to the switching transistor. The first emission control transistor is coupled to the first driving transistor. The second emission control transistor is coupled to the second driving transistor. The light emitting diode is coupled to the first emission control transistor and the second emission control transistor.

Pixel circuit for wide brightness range display

A display device includes a plurality of pixels and a de-multiplexer. The plurality of pixels are electrically connected to a plurality of data signal lines and a scan signal line, and configured to receive a scan signal through the scan signal line. The de-multiplexer includes a plurality of switch transistors electrically connected to the plurality of pixels through the plurality of data signal lines. The plurality of switch transistors are controlled by a plurality of clock signals. A period of a scan waveform of the scan signal is at least partially overlapped with a period of one of the plurality of clock signals with a last clock waveform. The period of the scan waveform of the scan signal is started after a start of the last clock waveform.

An electronic device and method of fabricating the same are provided herein. Electronic device and method of fabricating an electronic device

A driving method adapted to drive a first pixel of a display device to display an image in a frame time is provided. The driving method includes dividing the frame time into a first sub-frame time and a second sub-frame time; providing a first data with a first gray level; and controlling the first pixel to be emitted in the first sub-frame time or in the second sub-frame time according to the first data. When the first gray level is greater than a predetermined gray level, controlling the first pixel to be emitted in the first sub-frame time, and when the first gray level is less than or equal to the predetermined current level, controlling the first pixel to be emitted in the second sub-frame time.

Driving method for display device

A method for driving an active-matrix pixel array is provided. The method includes the following steps: during a first period, inputting a data signal into a control terminal of a second transistor of the each of pixel circuits from a first terminal of a first transistor of the each of the pixel circuits; during a second period, turning-on a third transistor of the each of the pixel circuits, so that a current generated by according to the data signal flows through the light emitting unit of the each of the pixel circuits; and during a third period, inputting a reset signal into the control terminal of the second transistor of the each of the pixel circuits from the first terminal of the first transistor of the each of the pixel circuits.

Method for driving an active-matrix pixel array

A display device includes a plurality of pixels. One of the pixels includes a light emitting diode and a driving circuit coupled to the light emitting diode. A display frame period includes at least two emission periods. The light emitting diode emits light according to a data signal including a gray level in each of the at least two emission periods.

A light emitting device and a light emitting method are provided. The light emitting device includes a plurality of sub-pixels. Each of the sub-pixels displays a grayscale during a frame. The frame includes N sub-frames. Each of the sub-frames include a scan period and an emission period. Each of the sub-pixels include a pixel circuit and a light emitter. The pixel circuit include a current control circuit and a pulse width modulation (PWM) circuit. The current control circuit receives an analog signal, and outputs a driving current according to the analog signal. The PWM circuit receives M digital signals and M reference pulse signals, and outputs a PWM pulse according to the M digital signals and the M reference pulse signals. The light emitter receives the driving current and the PWM pulse during emission period of each of the N sub-frames.

Light emitting device and light emitting method

A display panel including a first current source and a first pixel unit is provided. The first pixel unit includes a first switch and a first light-emitting diode. The first switch is coupled to the first current source and receives a first scan signal. When the first scan signal is enabled, the first switch is turned on and receives a first current provided by the first current source. The first light-emitting diode is coupled to the first switch. When the first switch is turned on, the first current passes through the first light-emitting diode to turn on the first light-emitting diode.

Display panel

A display device is provided that includes a plurality of sub-pixels. Each sub-pixel includes a light-emitting unit having an illumination area, wherein the illumination area is divided into a plurality of illumination regions, and each illumination region is configured to be illuminated independently. The light-emitting unit emits a light, and a gray level of the light is determined according to the total area of the illumination regions being illuminated.

An emission driver includes a latch circuit and a buffer circuit. The latch circuit receives a first signal, a second signal, and a first clock signal. The latch circuit includes a first output terminal and a second output terminal. The first output terminal of the latch circuit outputs a third signal according to the first clock signal. The second output terminal of the latch circuit outputs a fourth signal in reverse to the third signal according to the first clock signal. The buffer circuit includes a first input terminal, a second input terminal and a third output terminal. The first input terminal of the buffer circuit receives the third signal. The second input terminal of the buffer circuit receives the fourth signal. The third output terminal of the buffer circuit outputs an emission signal according to the third signal and the fourth signal.

Emission driver and pump unit

A method for expressing a grey level of a sub-pixel in a display device includes providing at least one light emitting unit in the sub-pixel, the light emitting unit including a plurality of illumination portions, and illuminating at least one of the plurality of illumination portions to express the grey level of the sub-pixel, and each illumination portion is illuminated independently.
