In a door opening/closing device having a motor base and a sensor case, a rotation sensor is provided. The rotation sensor includes a magnetic member provided adjacent an end of a rotation shaft and a detecting element that is arranged so as to detect a magnetic flux that is generated from the magnetic member in a direction crossing a magnetic flux that is generated from an electromagnetic clutch arranged around the rotation shaft. The motor base is attached to the sensor case such that the end of the rotation shaft extends outside of the motor base and the rotation sensor is arranged adjacent the end of the rotation shaft.

Door opening/closing device

A door operating apparatus includes a motor bracket that covers a driving shaft of a driving motor; an output shaft that is disposed from the motor bracket toward the supporting bracket so as to be orthogonal to an extending direction of the driving shaft; a first rotational element that is linked with the driving shaft, and disposed on the output shaft; a second rotational element that is linked with a door operating mechanism, and disposed between the first rotational element and the supporting bracket on the output shaft; and a clutch unit including a clutch driving section that supports a rotation of the output shaft. When the first rotational element and the second rotational element are engaged by driving of the clutch driving section, the door operating mechanism is actuated by the driving force.

Door operating apparatus, electromagnetic clutch, and coupling mechanism

A case is mounted to one of a motor vehicle and a pivotal door and has therein a gear receiving space. An electric motor is mounted to the case. A speed reduction mechanism is installed in the gear receiving space of the case and driven by the electric motor. An output gear is rotatably received in the gear receiving space of the case and driven by the speed reduction mechanism. An output arm is placed above the case and connected to the output gear through an output shaft that passes through an upper wall portion of the case. A connecting rod has one end pivotally connected to the output arm and the other end pivotally connected to the other of the motor vehicle and the pivotal door. The connecting rod is arranged beside the case in a manner to avoid overlapping thereof with the case in a direction that is perpendicular to a direction in which the connecting rod is moved by the output arm.

The door-opening/closing apparatus includes a door, a driving unit that drives the door to close the door, a door movement detection unit that detects a movement of the door, an electrostatic switch that is mounted on the door for detecting a human's touching the door, and a judgment unit that judges whether the door is attempted to be closed. When the door movement detection unit detects a movement of the door, and when the electrostatic switch senses a human's touching the door, the judgment unit judges that the door is attempted to be closed, and then the driving unit drives to close the door.

Door-opening/closing apparatus

An anti-panic mechanism for a vehicle door latch device comprises a movable member provided between to an open link and a lock lever, and an anti-panic spring elastically connecting the lock lever with the movable member. When an unlocking operation by an inside lock button is not completed normally due to a first opening operation of an open handle, the movable member is displaced by a spring force of the anti-panic spring to move the open link to an engageable position after the open lever is returned to an initial position. The movable member and lock lever are coaxially pivoted by a single common shaft.

A vehicle door latch device has a double action mechanism ( ) comprising a release lever ( ) for opening the door, an inner lever ( ) connected to an inside open handle ( ), and a slide link ( ). An opening and closing device comprises a powered sliding unit, a powered closing unit in the slide door, a first terminal connected to a battery on the body, a second terminal connected to the closing unit, a handle switch provided in the door for detecting actuation of an open handle, a controller provided in the body for operating the sliding unit, a wireless apparatus for transmitting a radio signal to the controller when the switch detects the actuation of the handle. The second terminal electrically contacts with the first terminal when the door is closed. The device has a wire apparatus composed of a first wire line for connecting the first terminal and the controller, and a second wire line for connecting the second terminal and the handle switch. The controller operates the sliding unit to open the door when the controller recognizes actuation of the handle through only the wire apparatus or through both the wire apparatus and the wireless apparatus, and the controller operates the sliding unit to close the door when the controller recognizes actuation of the handle through only the wireless apparatus.

Opening and closing device for vehicle slide door

A powered closing device for a vehicle door comprises a latch engageable with a striker, a ratchet for maintaining the engagement between the latch and the striker, an output member rotated by a motor when the latch comes into a half-latched position, an intermediate lever connected to the latch for displacing the latch from the half-latched position to a full-latched position, a connecting member provided between the output member and the intermediate lever, a cancelling lever having a first arm connected to an opening handle of the door and a second arm in which a cancelling cam surface is formed. The cancelling cam surface is brought into contact with the connecting member to disconnect the output member and the intermediate lever when the opening handle is operated. The cancelling cam surface is overlapped with the output member when the opening handle is not operated and moved in a direction apart from the first shaft when the opening handle is operated.

Powered closing device for a vehicle door with a safety mechanism

A powered sliding device for a sliding door comprises a wire drum rotated by a motor, a wire cable connecting the wire drum and the sliding door, a clutch mechanism provided between the wire drum and the motor. The clutch mechanism has a first coupling state for opening the door, a second coupling state for closing the door, and an uncoupling state. The wire drum has a cylindrical shape having a substantially closed end and an opposite open end, and an inner space formed inside thereof. The clutch mechanism is substantially provided within the inner space. The clutch mechanism is displaced into the first coupling state when the motor rotates in a given direction and displaced into the second coupling state when the motor rotates in a direction opposite to the given direction. The clutch mechanism is returned to the uncoupling state from the first coupling state when the motor is rotated in the opposite direction by a predetermined amount, and is returned to the uncoupling state from the second coupling state when the motor is rotated in the given direction by the predetermined amount.

A powered sliding device for sliding a vehicle sliding door along a guide rail comprises a base plate fixed to the vehicle body, a wire drum rotatably mounted on the base plate and rotated by a motor, a wire cable provided between the wire drum and the sliding door, a first holder provided in the vicinity of one end of the guide rail and having a first pulley making contact with the wire cable, a second holder provided in the vicinity of the other end of the guide rail and having a second pulley making contact with the wire cable, a tension roller provided on the base plate for making contact with the wire cable by resiliency of a spring, a flexible cable sheath covering the outer periphery of the wire cable between the first holder and the base plate and having one end to be connected to the first holder, a supporting member connected to the other end of the cable sheath. Tension adjusting apparatus for use in vehicle door powered sliding

A powered sliding unit attached to a vehicle body slides a sliding door from an open position to a half-latch position where a rear latch unit fixed to the sliding door is initially engaged with a rear striker fixed to the vehicle body, and then a powered closing unit provided to the sliding door moves the sliding door from the half-latch position into a full-latch position where the rear latch unit is completely engaged with the rear striker. The powered sliding unit has a vertical base plate, a wire drum rotatably attached to the base plate by a horizontal shaft, and a wire cable for coupling the wire drum with the sliding door. The powered sliding unit is attached in an inner space inside of a rear outer side panel of the vehicle body.
