A drive device of the present invention includes: an electric motor including a cooling channel; a power conversion unit that converts electric power from a power supply and outputs electric power to be supplied to the electric motor; and a supporting member fixed to the electric motor with the power conversion unit mounted on the supporting member. The supporting member includes a cooling channel connected to the cooling channel of the electric motor.

A rotating electrical machine system integrally includes a rotating electrical machine housed in a first chamber of a housing and a semiconductor module housed in a second chamber of the housing and electrically coupled to the rotating electrical machine. An electric unit is attached to a power unit including a motor-generator, the power unit being disposed in a power unit mounting chamber that is formed at a front of a vehicle and separated from a vehicle cabin by a partition wall. The electric unit includes: a high-voltage component including an electric power conversion device of a relatively high voltage, the electric power conversion device converting an electric power between a DC electric power and an AC electric power for the motor-generator; and a low-voltage component including a control device of a relatively low voltage, the control device controlling the electric power conversion device. The high-voltage component and the low-voltage component are accommodated in an accommodation case. Inside the accommodation case, the high-voltage component is arranged toward the front of the vehicle, and the low-voltage component is arranged toward a rear of the vehicle.

In a digital PLL system, instead of measuring a binarized playback RF signal with a high frequency clock, pulse-length data is generated by using N phase clocks (for example, 16 phase clocks). The pulse-length data is then counted with a virtual channel clock so as to extract run-length data. In this digital PLL system, the number of changing points of an asynchronous signal during an interval between adjacent clocks of the N phase clocks is detected so as to determine phase errors from the detected number of changing points. Phase errors are also determined from the timing relationship between changing points of a signal synchronized with the N phase clocks and each clock of the N phase clocks.

The communication terminal devices includes a wireless communication unit comprising: a multicast ACK generating unit which makes it possible to transmit packets having an ACK function; a multicast ACK analysis unit which analyzes received packet data for ACK information; wireless transmission and reception units which perform modulation and demodulation processing; and a central control unit and a timing control unit which control these components. The ACK function is thus implemented by multicast packets in multicast communication. This makes it possible to check if its own transmission data is received by other stations (communication terminals).

A rotor of an axial gap motor has a circular rotor core. A circular frame member is put on one axial face of the circular rotor core. The frame member has a plurality of magnet receiving recesses that are circularly arranged about the axis of the circular frame member at evenly spaced intervals. A plurality of permanent magnets are received in the magnet receiving recesses. A connecting structure connects the circular rotor core and the circular frame member together.

A phase-locked-loop device includes a clock generator for generating a reference clock based on a binarized playback signal and a frequency of run-length data and for generating N-phase clocks using the reference clock, a pulse-length measuring device for measuring a pulse length of the binarized playback signal using the N-phase clocks to output pulse-length data, and a run-length-data extracting device for counting the pulse-length data based on a virtual channel clock to extract run-length data. Pulse-length data is generated using the N-phase clocks (e.g., 16-phase clocks). The pulse-length data is counted based on the virtual channel clock to extract run-length data. Thus, it is not needed to generate a high-frequency clock, and the operating frequency is maintained sufficiently low.

Digital PLL device

A rotor includes a rotary shaft, a rib provided on the rotary shaft, and a disc-form holding member. The holding member is joined to an axial end face of the rib. The holding member is thereby coupled with the rotary shaft. The holding member is provided with permanent magnets arranged in a circumferential direction. A stator is confronted with the rotor along a central axis of the rotor.

Rotor structure

A rotor body according to the present invention comprises an annular laminated core of electromagnetic steel sheets defining therein a plurality of apertures in which permanent magnets are to be fixed, respectively, and a cylindrical core support to support the core, wherein the laminated core and the core support are joined to each other by brazing.

Rotor body and production method thereof

A hollow inner rotor shaft is connected with an inner rotor of a motor/generator unit and extends toward a differential speed change unit to be operatively connected to the same. An outer rotor shaft is rotatably received in the hollow inner rotor shaft and extends to the differential speed change unit to be operatively connected to the same. The outer rotor shaft is connected to the outer rotor through a circular drive plate which is positioned at one axial end of the motor/generator unit that is opposite to the other axial end that faces the differential speed change unit. An outer rotor assembly which substantially consists of the outer rotor, the circular drive plate and the outer rotor shaft is rotatably supported in the housing by means of at least three supporting members.

Hybrid transmission

A differential speed change unit is installed in a housing at a position near an engine and arranged coaxial with a common axis, and a two-rotor type motor/generator unit is installed in the housing at a position away from the engine and arranged coaxial with the common axis. The motor/generator unit has inner and outer rotors and a wiring. An inner rotor shaft is connected with the inner rotor to rotate therewith. The inner rotor shaft extends coaxially with the common axis to be operatively connected to the differential speed change unit. An outer rotor shaft is connected with the outer rotor to rotate therewith. The outer rotor shaft extends coaxially with the common axis to be operatively connected to the differential speed change unit. The housing has a split section at which the housing is dividable into two housing parts, and the split section is positioned between the differential speed change unit and the motor/generator unit.
